[W] Who knows.
Closed: Caleb
Jim had left his small apartment to receive some fresh air. he was craving a coffee, something hot and jacked full with caffeine. He was out of Coke and Tea at home, so he encouraged himself to take the walk down to the cafe. He didn't mind, he would have minimal contact with anyone while he was there. He had his lap top hanging in it's pouch from his shoulder; he wanted to finish up a essay he was writing. This one was for fun, the other day he had been lounging around in his apartment and his powers took over without his consent. They took him to a war camp in Canada during the second world war that was holding Japanese citizens. Not overly pleasant but it was interesting enough. Clayton had been complaining about how all Jim did was type and research. So what if he could see some rare and historical events in the flesh, or in the spirit, what did it matter. Live in the present, the past is worth shit. You know what shit is worth? This was Clayton's new catch phrase, long, annoying, and he managed to add in a swear word or two. Just Jim's luck. Jim adjusted the shoulder strap as he walked down the side walk. Keeping his eyes on his feet, but keeping in mind enough sense to not bump into anyone. He forced himself to shove his hands into his jean pockets, seeing as his was on the verge of making the shoulder strap even more uncomfortable. Why is it so flippin' cold out here? I mean, I know it's winter and all. But this is just awful, can we move somewhere warm? with sunny beaches and girls in bathing suits? Clayton echoed in his mind. Jim smirked, his first smile of the day. He couldn't say anything back, at least not in public. His immediate thoughts were along the lines of; If we would do that the female population would go down a little too much. Not that Clayton would kill them, but in his words I was just makin' their day, mate Unintelligent words from a psychotic break down created illness. Jim reached the cafe and entered. He took in a deep breath of the heated air, looking around, it was relatively empty, except for a couple in the far corner. He sat down at a table in the opposing corner and pulled out his laptop. He shoved it's pouch underneath the seat and opened up the computer. He pressed the power button, the server walked over, asking him what he wanted, in French of course. "J'aurai du café s'il vous plaît, noir." Jim said smoothly, he had learned French at his private school in London. The only useful thing they had ever taught him. The server nodded and headed off to grab his order. Jim opened up his word processor and started typing. He was used to keeping these details smooth, general, and simplex. If you got too detailed things looked suspicious. And you wouldn't want that, oh no, being different wasn't a social option Jim wanted added to his already socially abusing flaws.

"Now where are you off to..." He said as he sat on the other side of the street on an upside down garbage can. His blue eyes watched as Jim left his home which Caleb jumped from his seat and slowly trotted down the sideway to follow far behind. He did not want to be noticed at all yet until he saw the man's stop. As he was walking behind with his hands in his normal black trench coat, his feet hitting the sidewalk. He was thinking about it which he thought to test from this distance on if he can see the mans fears. As he was walking he stopped when Jim went inside and he looked into the mans fears. He was pin pointing one but a rush came to Caleb which never happened before.
Like the man had two separate brains inside of him yelling different things at once. At the last moment he could of sworn he heard someone yell at him to 'GET OUT' but he could of imagined it. He disconnected from the mans mind and turned away quickly. He felt a prickle of warmth on his face on his upper lip and also cold a little from the moisture. His hand went up to his upper lip to feel warmth which he looked at his fingers right away then pursed his lips angry. Blood, he grabbed his sleeve to wipe the blood that came from his nose off him. "What the hell was that?" He snapped to himself then went off to a car then made sure he got all the blood off by glancing in the side mirror. He sniffed then he looked at the cafe and he thought about it.
He thought now was better then ever and even in public he would be able to get the man to listen. He went across the ways of the street then walked inside the cafe. He went to the counter to order himself a normal coffee so he can scope out the scene properly. His eyes looked around to study the people inside the place which none looked harmful to him. Another glance was when he looked over at Jim seeing he was working on something. Too bad, Caleb had better things to speak to him about then whatever Jim was actually doing. Once Caleb had hold of his coffee he did pay for it properly then walked over for condiments. He put two french vanilla creams, four packs of sugar then stirred his drink around to mix the coffee up. He placed a lid on his coffee to go then he walked directly over to where Jim was sitting. Taking a drink of his coffee he arrived there in time to place the hot drink down on the table.
No he did not ask to take a seat he just took a seat at the same table and then he did something even more rude. His hand went to the back of the lap top that was open then slowly shut it close. With a ginger looking smirk on Caleb's face his eyes were on the person in front of him. "Hope your computer automatically saves." He said slowly then he went sat up straight then tilted his head to the side. This one did not look like the other Daniel's he had run into, well face wise. But hey there was a chance one looked like the mother and one looked like the father. But both had same color hair, eyes and skin tone so they must be related. "You are Mr.Daniels, correct?" He said in a clear tone of voice since he was interested to know. Well he was faking it since he knew this person already. He just thought it would be odd for him to just start talking out his whole bit without giving a small bait out there to catch interest of the other person.

You got company. Jim. Look up. Fuck, listen to me. Clayton hissed as the door had opened and then closed. Jim wasn't paying any attention. His fingers were pressing the keys at a rapid pace, his mind was focused on his writing. The only thing that could distract him now was his coffee, that was all. The server walked back, put down the coffee and walked back behind the counter. He knew Jim would pay afterwards, he had done this a few times before but only over very spread out periods of time. Field trips weren't his thing. He took a sip of his coffee, it was too hot, scalding the inside of his mouth. He didn't even flinch, show the brief pain that it provided, seeing as it was followed by a calming numbness. He took in a deep breath, rolling out his shoulders a bit. He was feeling abnormally uncomfortable.
He is coming Kiddo. Clay muttered again, Jim squinted his eyes. Still watching the computer screen. Who was he? Dare he ask. Clay was probably just messing with him again, making him more paranoid than what was necessary. Jim was in the middle of his sentence when a hand gently pushed down the laptops screen, closing it. Jim didn't look up. Clayton laughed, He's here. A long sarcastic mock he was giving him. Pleasant just pleasant. Jim swallowed, his mouth began to dry, he hated it when peolpe tried to talk to him. He just sat their in silence for a moment, then had a slight tang of pain in his skull, Clayton hated how he didn't speak when spoken to.
"Fortunately. Yes, it does ..." Jim said in a half whisper, half annoyed tone. He briefly glanced at the man, swallowed again. What did he want, Jimmy's got a friend. Jimmy's got a friend. Mind sneaking friend he is. Watch it. Jim was now listening to Clay's advice. he tensed up. "What .... what do you ... want?" Jim asked, not sure how to formulate his sentence correctly. Oh, what did it matter. He was going to look like a geeky retard no matter what he said. He should learn to accept that and not over think things. And him over thinking meant hardly thinking at all. The man spoke again. Jim shrugged. Use my name. Go on, don't be shy. Or ... maybe he knows ... make a choice Kid.
Jim's jaw dropped a little and he bit down on his lip. Idiot. "Uhm. Yes. I am Cla ... no. Yes, I am Mr. Daniels." He muttered. Clayton started to laugh again. Jim cringed.

Now this was a good way on getting someones attention was to close out what they were doing in the first place. He didn't care, shut the lap top, and watched the mans reactions which was barely anything. Guess this man was not easily bothered which the smug smirk went across Caleb's lips. His words were smooth and quite not alarming, he was just speaking in a normal tone of voice. Jim responded that it did so Caleb nodded slowly then took hold of his coffee. He took another drink of the hot liquid then he set it down since it was perfect tasting but a tad too hot. "What do I want? It's more what do you want." He said in a kind of riddling tone of voice. He looked at Jim then he looked down to the table then he scooted in the chair a lot more.
He was a little unsure how to word himself but then he got it perfectly. But he did not just speech it out right then and there for that would destroy the whole mystery of interest. So he went to say the mans name out which took Jim long enough to confirm the name and a slight disappointment. With another tilt to his head when the first name was wrong and then some stuttering come back. "Well that is not nice to try to give me a false pretense. Never a good impression to give someone. That your a lair. But you are wise to change your decision Jim Daniels because if you said otherwise I don't think our meeting would of turned out pleasant at all." He remarked to the man in front of him then he tilted his head back to normal looked at Jim.
Another time he thought, so he went pushed his own mind into Jim's began to search again for the fear again. But the same thing happened as before which he did not understand it at all. His eyes closed as he took a deep breath escaped the mans mind and kept them closed for awhile. Small warp of a headache smashed his head but he did not show it at all. Sure he did get some tad bits of what he wanted but he did not get how a man can have two greatest fears. Also how they can be so different, really different. "Mr. Daniels..." He said out in a settle tone almost sounding strained and his eyes opened again looked at Jim. "What if I told you that I can take away all your fears, what would you do? What if I can remove all the untainted in this village and soon the world." He paused to let that sink in for only a moment before continuing.
"What if we all can live, as tainted, without the fears of the untainted. If someone was able to offer that would you be there helping him for a better world. Or would you coward away in your little apartment hiding your powers that help you make a living." A smug smirk went on his face after he said all that. His eyes were still looking at Jim in hopes his response would be a good one. If Jim did not agree or was not interested then Caleb has something up his sleeve of course. His way of persuasion also a small little piece of knowledge that Caleb new but not Jim, surely. Caleb went leaned back into his seat then he took the coffee in his hands then took a long drink from it. Was perfect now since it was not too hot but not warm it was the melting heat, good enough for him. Now he just smugly waited for the answer from the man which Caleb considered for now, his equal.

Jim stared at the man curiously, Clayton was pushing his urge to run and hide to the corner of his head. Damn that second part of him, making him act like a mix of them both. Jim gave off a cocky smile, but let it slow down to his normal look after he realized he was doing it, Clay took that a little to far. At least it fit in, he had done the gesture when the man said 'What do I want? It's more what do you want.' Jim rested his hands on top of his closed computer. His light blue eyes staring at Caleb's left eye brow, never look people in the eyes, his out look. What's up with this guy? questioned. Jim downed more of his coffee, it was cooler now but still burned a bit. Jim pushed his hair back, neating it out a little, just a habit. Bangs in the face and puffy hair was just plain annoying.
Jim listened to the man, saying he could have been a liar. Clay and him laughed in unison. Jim didn't know how to respond though. Just say what I tell you, if your not willing to think for yourself Jim readjusted himself a little, fine, he would do it. "Liar. Funny term. It would not be a lie, either option is the complete and utter truth." Jim said it before he could even edit it. He bit down on his bottom lip. "Pleasant changes for everyone. You don't know for sure what I would consider pleasant." Crap, getting snappy. Jim would have beat Clayton if he could, he started to pay attention to what words were coming out of his mouth. Jim leaned back in his chair, squirming a little. He couldn't sit like this for too long without getting jumpy and needing to readjust. Only one maybe two positions were actually comfortable and challenging enough to hold his attention.
Clayton started laughing, He is at it again ... Jim didn't understand, Clay laughed even harder. Jim watched the man very closely. He had closed his eyes. but seem calm enough. Jim clenched his jaw a little, not sure what was going on. He was confused as Hell. He hated being confused. He took in a deep breath, but held it when the man spoke again. Clay stopped laughing, going silence. Actually listening? Amazing, he learned a new unteachable trick. He phrased that oddly ... His tone was different, he was thinking. Jim just drank his coffee, acting like an innocent guy who wasn't having a raving lunatic try to do non-logical math without numbers in his head. Jim's jaw dropped, "Uhm. I would ask how." Jim said, digging his index finger nail into the skin on his palm.
Jim laughed nervously, still not knowing what to do. he felt odd because Clay had fallen silent, still thinking. Jim stared at him, "You been watching me or something?" Jim asked, now extremely edgy, without Clay relaxing him anymore he was on the verge of running. "I mean ... uhm. I would ... I ... Would ..." He couldn't think, what else did this guy knew? He was here, in here. Looking ... looking for ... he found it ... he left ... Clay muttered thought fully but stopped. Fuck it, Jim. Keep focused, don't be a pussy bag here. Jim gulped, "I would probably stay in my apartment ... Untainted don't bug me, cause I don't bug them. Simple." Jim muttered, Good save Jimmy Clayton was being sarcastic. Clay then kept some focus on Jim's actions, stepping in if it was necessary, this was obvious serious. But while trying to keep figuring this out. Would he reveal this, he was obviously tainted. He thought he got it, but it was absurd for a power, seeing people fears. Impossible. There can't be that many. if so, then he saw Jim's, and Clays? No, impossible. That would mean he would know that Clay [whether intentional or not] was afraid of cockroachs, scared him to death.

Was hard to get something straight out of the boys head which he did hear something louder then the rest. Now this was going to be easy which he smirked slowly after he relaxed down a bit. Soon he began to tell his speech to Jim which meant he had ignored everything else the man said before hand. Kind of the headaches fault he went threw the whole conversation away then continued with the point. He spoke slowly and calmly so that the man would get every word out of it. "How. How it shall be done will not ever be discussed in a public place like this of course. I have a facility for that kind of personal and private discussion. Also you must be with me to know the plans, I don't just tell the world." He smirked slowly then opened his eyes looked at the boy.
Now he was calling Jim in his mind a boy since he seemed like a scared little boy. Edgy, nervous and shifting in his seat also the nervousness in he tone of his voice was all indicators. Caleb remained calm of course like he was not going to do anything even though the smirk of smugness still on his face. A laugh came out which was enjoyable and he reached for his coffee took a long drink from it. As he set his drink down he cleared his throat then answered the new question. "Watched you, yes, but like there was much to watch. You are like a sad little hermit that stays inside all the time. Nearly bored me to sleep as I was trying to get information about you." He remarked in a matter of fact tone of voice being a sarcastic asshole. Which soon he went on with what he wanted and what he was offering.
As the boy stuttered on with an answer to him he just sat there, staring, with his own icy blue eyes. Didn't seem like an inch of remorse were in them and also his black pupils open to the soul less beast inside. But then the answer came out all wrong that is when Caleb's smirk went away to emotionless. Did this boy just reject him? Oh he shall pay greatly for it and he was going to make sure of that and persist him to join by force. "Ah I see. Pity....I was hoping you'd be the stronger one of the family. But you have proven me a disappointment just like your pathetic brother Mitch who can't even control his powers fully yet. Disappointing for a man of his age....I would of done more training then sitting around drinking my life away and cheating at poker games for money." He first said about Mitch before he pressed on about Jim.
"You are the same. For you instead of drinking your life away and using your powers to cheat in poker do another habit. Sit around inside your house all day cheating on writing history books. Mmm...what if the untainted knew of what you were doing? Even worst...what would your mother think?" He said letting it cut off there and he took his coffee into his hands again. He took a long drink and as he was setting the coffee cup down he pushed his powers to focus on the two fears he gotten from the boy. Both of them were yelling to Caleb so he decided to take both of them and he smirked slowly. Just as he did a figure walked through the wall and came to stand at the table which looked directly at Jim. Was Jim's dead mother which she was pale, dead and had gashes all over her body.
Her black orbs just looked at her son then she began to sob and bloody tears came from her orbs. 'Look what you done to me...look what you have done.' She croaked out in a very ghostly tone of voice. Soon she flinched which another gash went on her pale skin and crimson poured out. 'Jim please...stop it..' Then another gash formed and more crimson rushed out of it to the floor all over the place. 'No....please...your killing me.' Another two gashes formed and she screamed some more in pain which crimson blood leaked all over the place on the floor. The floor was soaked which both Caleb's and Jim's feet would be standing in the warm crimson blood. At the last moment her body moved in a way that was very inhuman and her head shook back and fourth really fast like it was being fast forwarded but the rest of the body didn't move.
Soon it stopped looked at him dead in the eyes then spoke more to her son. 'You are no son of mine. Your a pathetic little boy who was more then willing to let the untainted take your brother. How dare you not stand up for your own kind and your own family!' After she said that her mouth opened wide and something came out, not something, lots of things. Cockroaches, they all swarmed from out of her mouth onto the floor and onto everything of the place. Caleb sat there not moving, just smirked, he watched though as the cockroaches were swarming the walls. Swarming onto the people who seemed to he getting eaten. Then the cockroaches went began to swarm at Jim's feet then began to climb up his feet. Going up his legs which they were going slow and Caleb smirked some more.
He did not dare to enter Jim's brain to amplify the fears anymore but hell this was good enough. His connection with Jim was only a little as his mind went into Jim's mind forcing all the hallucinations to come out full blown. Sure there was something wrong with the connection but the whole effect was working so Caleb did not care. "I'd inquire you to change your mind." He said in a smooth little voice and rose his hand up to let out a finger which a single cockroach was on. Jim's mother was on the ground covered in cockroaches and bleeding everywhere. Caleb wouldn't be able to keep this up for long but he knew he could as least last a good 10 minutes if pushed. Was enough to drive someone insane, just ask the Zamojski family.

"Secrecy." He made a clicking noise with his mouth, "No thanks, not my scene, bud." He sighed, he was talking like Clay, great. His speak and intelligence level was plummeting by the minute. Jim watched him for a moment, Clay was getting weary himself. this was abnormal for him. especially for him, Jim glanced down at the table. "Oh, boring am I? Sorry, I am not into thrills and chills." Jim coughed a little, thinking still. Over thinking about pure non-sense. Who was he kidding, he wasn't going to have to listen to this weirdo talk to him like this. Jim was getting ready to just leave, grab the lap top and go. If Clayton was messed about this encounter, than Jim should probably go home and lock the door. Would that be enough? Of course it would ... Jim gulped again.
Jim was wrapping his hands around his lap top, getting to ready to pack it when he stopped. His gaze rested on a tile on the floor. He squinted and turned towards Caleb. His eyes then widened. Mitch ... isn't that your brother? Clay asked, finally coming back into his head, he never thought he would miss him. Jim's jaw dropped a little, and he forced in a breath. "You ... You have been ... what? You know him?" I doubt he knows him ... hey, kid ... your brothers a drunk. Hah! And I thought he was supposed to be the greatest brother in the whole entire world Jim shook his head, trying to clear it. As if this wasn't enough, now he was comparing them. "You threatening m-" He paused. His mother. Oh shit ... Clay muttered. Falling silent again. Jims aw locked and his eyes stared at Caleb with some mild anger. "What ... how ... you." He stopped again.
He didn't turn towards the door, only catching the figure at first. He looked over at Caleb for another minute and then looked at the figure when his name was called. His throat closed, blood stopped flowing, heart ached, and his lunged burned. He was biting on his lip so hard that it was starting to bleed, the blood running down his chin and some of it going into his mouth, making this too real. "Mo- Mom?" he asked, his throat caught in a bit of a squeak as the air rushed out. tears welled up in Jim's eyes. He stood, almost loosing his balance. He listened to her, her words. Blood, scratches, she was being cut. Jim put his hands over his ears and collapse back into his seat. He tried to close his eyes but could look away. Clayton was laughing subtly in the back of his head, Oh yeah, that's my handy work. Nice ... He said.
Jim couldn't breath. Fuck, why could he breath. Why was she here, she was dead. He watched the blood start to pool onto the floor. "Mom ... I .... I didn't ..." He muttered, biting onto his lip again, splitting the other side of his lip as well. Jim closed his eyes when her head started twitching back and forth. He put his hands on his knees, drilling his fingers into the fabric of his pants. When he opened his eyes, cockroaches were swarming out of her mouth. Shit! Shit! Clayton shouted, so loud that Jim's head booms and he let out a gasp of pain. He tried to lift his feet for the blood and tried to wipe the cockroaches off, they kept coming though. He looked around, everything was chaos. This was too insane. He was crazy, he knew that. but this ... this was ... something else.
Jim was shaking uncontrollably, he nearly jumped out of his seat when Caleb started to speak again. he had forgotten he was there. He looked back over at his mother's body. "You?" He asked, digging his fingernails into the fabric even harder, wearing it out. "I ... I didn't ... this is ..." Jim retreated letting Clayton take over. Jim couldn't take it, he lay back, sobbing in his subconscious form. Clayton got up, kicking a few cock roaches away. He got up on the chair kneeling and smacking them off. "Son of fucking bitches!" He screamed. He then looked over at Caleb. We're in, we're fucking in!" He shouted at him. Now clawing at his hair to get the pests out. His heart racing like a rabbit on speed.

Caleb couldn't help but watch this hallucination which he smirked off a little then laughed at the effect of the dead mother spewing cockroaches out of her mouth everywhere. This was priceless also easy to terrify the man into agreeing. For some reason there was something messing with the connection which kind of pounded his head again. He felt strain too much strain for the man he was connecting with was like two people. So it was hard to control the illusion for much longer. But glad he did for the man stood up began to scream, kick which to the rest of the people there. Jim already looked crazy for Caleb and himself can only see this illusion.
So when Jim screamed that they were in all Caleb did was smirk slowly then he looked around. There were no cockroaches, no blood and no dead women on the ground just people staring at the two men standing. More eyes were on Jim then Caleb though since he was throwing a fit like cockroaches were in his hair before. But the illusion got turned off when Caleb stood up which was a good thing for he felt his nose hot. He knew he was going to bleed again and he did not want it to happen, not in front of Jim. "Don't worry ladies and gentlemen! My friend here is just a little excited about the news I gave him. Go back to your business nothing wrong here." Caleb walked around slowly to take Jim by the shoulders and try to forcefully sit him down, so there would be no more of a scene.
When that was all finished he took his seat back on the other side of the table. He did notice the slight voice change but didn't really get it at all. With some cocky smile on his face like he won some candy from a baby he took another drink from his coffee. Setting down the warm liquid he smugly spoke now then nodded in some confirmation. "Good then you not as pathetic as your brother. Now he was a stupid boy and refused. I have him his worst nightmare and he screamed like a little girl. He still refused even after I did which I was to persist again. But the bastard did his little magic trick before I could bring out own own persuasion. By the way..."
He said then dug into his pocket then pulled out some napkins he gotten at the condiments stand earlier then tossed them on the table. "...you look like a god damn vampire with that blood dripping down your chin. Outta fix that before more people stare at us funny or stare at us more then they already have been." He remarked then he leaned back in the chair again then looked down at the table with a smirk then looked up. "How well can you control your...skills, Jim?" Now that was the last question and his most important one just yet and now he leaned forward again. Waiting for an answer from his new unwilling member on his side.

Clay was shaking intensely. Breathing was growing worse by the second. But in a blink, the cockroaches, the blood, the body, was all gone. He looked around mildly, the few people who were in the cafe were staring at him. He growled in his throat a little. Caleb forced him to sit, he was squirming around a little still, the paranoia that the bugs would come back was in the front of his mind. He glanced over at Caleb, taking in some deep breaths to help calm him. He cleared his throat, not sure whether he should try to talk like Jim had, or maybe let his true Irish accent take over and be himself. He decided to act like Jim, well, the best he could AT least the voice would be the same, but not quite as shy.
"What the fuck was that?" Clayton asked, staring Caleb in the eyes. He ignored the stronger than your brother mini monologue, it didn't account to him. And Jim didn't need to hear anymore. As much as he hated the runt, he didn't want him too traumatized. Who knows how much or for how long what just happened was going to affect him. He swallowed a mouthful of blood, accepting it. He didn't mind the taste, he gingerly took the offered serviette. He held it down tightly on his lip. The blood soaked the white. Clay, stared at Caleb with a fury in his eyes. No screwing with him, he hated it when people had more control than he did. Especially if it was by running over one of his weak spots, a low and pathetic way to play. Not that he could say he didn't look or feel pathetic at the moment.
Clay laughed a little, cut off by a light cough from the warm trickle in his throat. "You might as well know." he muttered, his accent changed, now Irish. "You aren't very good at research and observing, are you? Me, I'm not Jim, he his suffering from a panic attack at the moment. Me; I am Cla- Clayton." He was mocking Jim's earlier almost false remark. He pushed harder on his lips, staring at Caleb with some bitter distaste. He removed the tissues. "Not enough." He said to himself, they wouldn't stop bleeding, so he just held the serviette on his chin so that the blood wouldn't flow down anymore and so that he could speak. "oh yeah, your question. I am not so good at it, haven't really tried But Jim has ... some control over it. Slightly useless, in my opinion. Why do you want him?" He was looking out for them both at this point.
Clay liked to get things done, have knowledge that was of immediate use and something he didn't have to store in there for long. In and out, simple, the way his head worked. He was more of the quick thinker, unlike Jim where it took three hours for him to choose the correct words to come out of his mouth. "can I ask any questions? Or is this strictly for your benefit?"

After taking the hallucinations away he smirked then put the man in his seat forcefully then took his own seat across from him. A solid smirk went on his face as he looked at the man with cool blue eyes. He in fact to taunt a bit put the drink to his lips then took a long drink from his coffee. He was yelled at which he rolled his eyes a little to the mans sudden change in attitude then he put his coffee down. "Stop your shouting I'm right here and not bloody deaf you dope." Scooting in his chair a little more he put his elbows on the table then he began to just say what it was. "That was only a mere sample of what I can do. Just a sample." He repeated since he could do worst then what he did but he was under too much strain to do it now.
So he made do with what he got then he smirked slowly and then sighed deeply. Small headache was forming so his finger tips went to his temples since he needed to relieved some pressure. He did this absentmindedly as the man across from him now too the ball to speak up. A laugh came out from the man as he was fixing his lip wound which Caleb did not look uneasy just rose a brow slowly. The man went changed his voice completely which made Caleb straighten up a tad. He put his brows back to normal and removed his fingers from his forehead. As the man spoke he just listened to his words which he went laughed a little as well at the man.
"Ah well Clayton. I see now. I'm sorry my little Empath did not pick you up when I told him to sense Jim out then. I apologize greatly. Most powers act a little....screwy....when it comes to someone with a split minded personality. Rare to have but hell that sure does explain a lot of things. I knew you were in there but didn't know what you were at the time." He remarked to Clayton in a matter of fact tone of voice which was quite snarky then he smirk. Now the other question was being asked which he was shortly getting an answer from the Clayton fellow. "Jim will be able to look up something for me. Something I need and something I am sure shall benefit out tainted kind." He answered smoothly without even thinking since he had his mind set of what to say. Was the only reason why he wanted Jim was so that he can take a look into the past and see things and also maybe the future. Either way Caleb wanted to use the power in some sense.
Now Caleb was coming to a close on his part which he was pulling out a business card which had his address simply on it. He put it on the table then pushed it slowly over to Clayton. "Questions? You may ask question. I am sure you have lots of questions which I am sure you, Clayton, might find my answers more sufficient to you then Jim. I'm already seeing who the stronger man is of the two and that would be you eh?" He leaned back into the chair then side smirked and tilted his head to the side. A hand went up to move curls from his blue eyes then he spoke some more and confident with words. "So I guess Mitchell Daniels was right. His brother did not kill their mother and it was something or someone else. Now that wouldn't be your handy work now would it, Mr. Clayton." He said with the whole address now to this new personality that came out from Jim. Caleb would and could use this as one of his advantages with this little terrified child, talk to his other personality.
