Ability: vitakinesis - at the moment all she can do is heal herself. Mostly just cuts and bruises. She still needs to work on her powers to be able to heal bones and possible others, futher down the road.

Beliefs: Riley doesn't really know what to believe. She has discovered and developed her power for a year. People want her gone, but they always ask for her help. She wishes that they could just make up their minds. Also she wants them to stop using her, though she is afraid to say no to them.

Distinguishing Features: Riley has a birth mark of crescent moon on her left hip. She was planing on putting a tattoo there, but decided against it, because she liked her birth mark more then having a tattoo.

Other: Riley has two piercings on each ear. She thinks body piercings look really good, but she doesn't think that they would look good on her. She has a couple of tattoos. She has a tribal clover tattoo on left inner wrist. The tattoo symbolizes her Irish background. On the inside of her right ankle she has sun, moon and star. She just loves nature and anytime of the day, though she is more a night person. She has planed on getting more tattoos, but isn't sure what and when.

The Good Points: Riley is a very friendly person and would always help those that are in need and ask for it. She always manages to find ways to have fun and looks at the brighter side of things. She can be quite energetic and knows when it's time to relax. She loves doing out door activities and just being outside. Though she is fine being inside too, to read some books, that would take her mind to a whole 'nother world.

The Bad Points: Since Riley is so helpful and adventurous, she tends to get herself into trouble. Though it is good to put others first, but she does it too much leaving her hurt or barely living. Because she is different, she is treated differently and gets labeled in a way. She doesn't like it, but then she also can't help it. Though she is friendly, she doesn't let anyone get close to her, afraid she would get hurt.

Habits: Riley doesn't really have any habits. She may drink occasionally, if she can get some. She doesn't smoke or anything along those lines. What habit she does have, is because she has too kind of a heart. She helps people too much, even to the point of exhaustion.

Possessions/Obsessions/Other: Riley has some possessions, but nothing that is really important to her. The things may come in useful, but nothing she'll miss or cherish. She doesn't really have any obsessions, except for mints or ice cream. She doesn't get the chance to have those often, but she absolutely loves them.

History: Riley was born in Ireland, if you asked her where in Ireland, she wouldn't know. Riley doesn't really know much about her past, and has asked her mother several times what her life was like back in Ireland, but her mother would change the subject every time. Her life is always a mystery to her. All she knows is that she lives with her mother in France, in a small village, and that her father left them when she was little.

With what Riley gathered about her past was that her father wasn't a loyal man. He would always be out with another woman, and would treat her mother badly. Also they didn't have a lot of money, which is a problem they are still trying to deal with. Apparently Riley use to be daddy's little girl and he would always bring a treat home for her, every once in a while. The treat would always be mints or ice cream. That was probably how she got hooked on to those things.

Something that Riley does remember was her accident, or well bits and pieces of it. She was only ten at the time and doesn't remember how it happened or what had happened, but the fact that she hit her head and everything had gone dark. Ever since then, she couldn't remember her past, except the things that her mother had told her years later, and she couldn't remember her time in the hospital. Now every so often she may forget things. Like if she just met a person and they run into each other again another day, she may not remember them and think it's their first time meeting. Riley has been working on her memory and it has improved quite a bit over the years, though there will be the occasional memory lost.

After the accident, Riley moved to France with her mother. Riley wasn't exactly sure why, but she guessed that she wanted to get away from everything and start fresh. They moved into a motel, because that was all they could afford. Her mother got a job as a maid at a hotel and would work all night and day, leaving Riley alone. To help out, Riley had been trying to find odd jobs that could help pay for everything, and to save on the side for their own place. She wasn't very successful.

Only a few days after she turned sixteen, she noticed a few things happening. At first she thought it was nothing, when she got little cuts, like paper cuts, and they were gone a few hours later. At first, she thought it was her memory problem working up again. Until one day she was looking at a paper cut and watched it heal on it's own right away. That was when she found out that she had powers, and that she was able to heal herself. She wondered if her powers could grow and help heal others, but as she tried, it wouldn't work. At least she knew that she would be alright, after someone tries to hurt her.

People began to notice her powers, because when she got hurt, she would heal all of a sudden. Everyone began to be afraid of her, calling her the devil or witch or what ever other names they came up with. This began to dampen her spirit, making her depressed. She would always try to ignor what they say and carry on with her life, but it would always get to her and it would hurt. Name calling wasn't the only thing they would do to her. A couple of times, a group of kids around her age had ganged up on her and would beat her. Of course she was able to heal afterwards, but she still felt the pain. She became an outcast, and no one wanted to be around her. If someone tried to talk to her or even go near her, they would get picked on too, until they learned to just keep their distance from her. Riley's life became quite lonely, wishing to have a chance at a better life or to at least have a some what friend.

Riley's mother had noticed what was happening during Riley's life. And for her safety they moved. Her mother had heard about a place that had people like Riley living there and thought that it would be the best for her. They found a little motel place to stay at, until they saved enough money for their own place. Her mother found a few odd jobs to help pay for everything that they needed, and hoped that this place would be a fresh start to a good life.

It was beginning to get late into the evening and Riley was leaving the library with a few books. She wanted to catch up with her reading, so she ended up staying in the library for almost the whole day. She didn't have work or anywhere to go, so she was fine with it. It was considered as her relaxing day, just sitting in the library reading. She read many books. Mostly fantasy, because she just loved them, but she did read a couple of books about Magical Creatures, just to keep the information fresh in her mind.

As Riley was heading back to the Gryffindor common room, something was bothering her. It felt like she was forgetting something. She checked the books she had, and they were all there. She checked to make sure she had her wand and it was in her pocket. She made sure she remembered her password to get into the common room, but she couldn't figure out what it was. Once in her dorm, she put the books away and came across a letter. The letter was from Calli and it was about her going over for dinner, but it wasn't until next week or something. So she put the letter down and was about to head out of the dorm, when she thought to just check the date to make sure she didn't plan anything else. When she read the letter, she wanted to hit herself. The dinner wasn't next week, it was tonight.

Riley quickly went through her things, trying to find something to wear. She would have put on anything, but since it was a dinner that Calli was worked up about, she thought she should at least dress a little nice. Riley wasn't planing on wearing any dresses or skirts, since they weren't really her thing. She put on some nice, non-ripped, jeans, a nice green shirt and even put on some heels. Riley left her hair down and quickly put on a bit of make-up. Once she was all ready, she quickly headed out the dorm, through the school and out onto the grounds. The whole time trying to make sure she wouldn't fall while wearing the heels.

As she quickly walked across the grounds, she transformed into her panther form to get to Calli's place faster. Riley soon arrived at Hogsmead and quickly hide behind a building before anyone could see her. She transformed into her original form, quickly making sure everything was in place and not a mess, and walked over to The Three Broomsticks. She headed up the stairs and soon arrived at the door. With out knocking, she just entered, because she knew Calli would eventually tell her off to just come in with out knocking next time."Calli I'm here. Sorry I'm late, I got distracted." she said to Calli, then noticed who was all there. Her eyes found Dominic right away, sitting on the couch. Riley swore he took her breath away, but she had to regain it quickly, before she made a fool of herself. Quickly looking away, her eyes landed on a stranger that she had never met before. Though she knew it was the guy Calli had told her about. Being the person that she is, Riley gave him a smile."Hey, I'm Riley." she said to him, putting her hand out toward him to shake.

Just two things to change about the history. One her powers wouldn't of popped out of no where but gradually came along. Second Sanglignée is a place for the tainted so she wouldn't of been so harshly teased. Might freak out some untainted but they are kind of used to the fact there is tainted people out there.
