The following is a list of organizations that can be found throughout San and Marseille. If you wish to be part of any of them please make sure you make note of their involvement in your character's History. Existing members please contact the leader of the specific group or an administrator to notify them of your allegiance.
Centre for Control of Abnormalities
[Head Agent: Ethan Trask]
The CCA is a government department of the top secret variety. Their job is to make sure the general public don't become too knowledgeable of the Tainted or, as they're less favourably known in the department, 'Abnormals'. They believe that the Tainted and Untainted should be able to live in harmony, at any cost. Even if that means dispersing the collective Tainted and forcing them to abide by their rules of secrecy and, in a way, shame. All of the agents in the department are Untainted (apparently), but fully aware of their gifted brethren. Occasionally they work alongside the science laboratories that specialize in these people, and bring Tainted in for questioning and 'study'.
San Police Force

San has always had its own police force, but until recently it was a minor part of the tiny village. With recent events the number of officers employed in the small station just outside of town has doubled, as has their work load. Consisting of San locals and a few outsiders, mostly Untainted with a select few undercover Tainted folk, the police force does what it can before the government intervenes. They seem to be peacekeepers rather than law enforcers, and who could blame them with a town full of people such as the Sangligneans?
The Medusa

If the name wasn't enough of a deterrent, the members just might be. The Medusa is one of Marseille's most best kept secret. It is, for lack of a better description, a fight club. Beyond the doors of the club people don't have names; if they're lucky, they have respect, but that's about it. People are pitted against each other by ability - like with like. There are no rules except for anonymity, and everyone is welcome. The fighting happens in the basement of a rather reputable brothel run by Mr. Atwood's charming wife.
Morning Star Laboratories

Morning Star Laboratories is another secret department within the French Government. Hidden away, deep underground of the bustling city of Marseilles, the location of the lab is only known to a few select members. They want to find a cure for the abnormalities that they believe are occurring in humans to create the Tainted. They work with the CCA.
The Fivers
[Head: Moire Celeste]
Cloud Five Reservation is the permanent (and somewhat naturalistic) home to a small colony of settled travelers. Hippies, if you will. It is believed that the Fivers were the people who originally wove the theory that ancient magic users of sorts were the ones who cast a curse on the people, turning them into Tainted. Some even say that it was their ancestors who cast the curse, others believe it's a load of old sweat socks.
