“Fucking shit that hurt like a bitch.” Jesi Gallaway was currently cursing the food that was sitting on the stove for burning her finger. Though it was entirely her fault she chose to blame the food rather than her. “Why the hell am I even doing this, this is retarded?” Her friend from high school was currently sitting behind her at the kitchen table smirking. “You are doing this Jesi because for some reason you love this untainted and you want to cook him dinner. I don’t understand why though but oh well.” Jesi turned and glared at her friend willing her to shut up. “Hey Cami shut up I am cooking dinner for Marcus because I want to prove to him that I am serious about this relationship and that I could be a good wife. Plus the fact that I am tainted and he is not, is merely a small mishap which doesn’t bother me anymore. I mean at first it did but now it’s like well I love him so why should it matter.” About 15 minutes later Jesi was more frustrated than she was before, the noodles she was cooking for the pasta were burned and completely ruined and the sauce was running and smelled weird. She growled at the food and went about throwing it all out and stamping her feet in frustration.

“That is it fuck it you are helping me Cami whether or not you want too doesn’t matter to me.” Going into the freezer she took out two steaks and opened up the package placing them on the cutting board. She then took out the spices and rubbed them all over the steaks before placing a metal rod from the drawer through both the steaks. Holding them over the pan she called out to Cami making her come over towards her. “Okay you little missy are gunna use your powers to cook these steaks while I make the Mac and Cheese and I don’t wanna hear it just do it Cami.” Going over towards the cabinet she got out the Mac and cheese box and another cooking pot which she then set herself to making the Mac and cheese. 20 minutes later the Mac and Cheese was done and so where the steaks which were dark and rich in color. Marcus’s steak was still a little rare since Jesi knew he liked it that way. She quickly said her thank yous to Cami and sent her on her way, so she and Marcus could be alone. Jesi had even gotten the rest of the roomies to leave for the night staying at other places. She went into the fridge and took out the wine that she had bought earlier in the day it was red wine which she read went very nicely with steak. Putting the bottle down she went and got out the bottle opener and then opened it and poured two glasses.

She then set the bottle into an ice bin she had filled earlier and set it on the corner of the table. Next she went and got out two plates that were very nice plates not plastic ones like they usually used. Setting them down on the counter she put one steak on each plate with the Mac and Cheese. “Well that is romantic Wine, Steak, and Mac and Cheese, man you need to learn to cook more things Jesi.” She was fully aware that she was talking to herself but she didn’t seem to mind she was just nervous he wouldn’t like it. Setting the plates down on the table she covered them both with plate covers so they would stay hot and so Marcus wouldn’t see them at first. Cleaning up really fast she heard the front door open and knew he was home. Running out into the family room she kissed him gently and took off his jacket and blindfolding him with a scarf she had in her pocket. “Welcome home baby just trust me and follow me.” She slowly walked with him into the kitchen and set him down at one of the chairs that had his steak in front of it. She then dimmed the lights and lit two candles, as well as lifting off the covers to their dinners. Walking over towards Marcus she straddled him and pressed her lips hard to his before removing the blindfold. “I hope you like it baby.” Getting off of his lap she went and stood in front of the table awaiting his reply.

Marcus had been having one hell of a day, morning time was its normal, getting up and kissing Jesi and then getting into the shower so that he would smell alright when he got into work today. He did not like the fact that he had so much stuff that he had to do at work today it was going to be hell. From lifting the bigger boxes of things to the back and front and all the other things that came from working for who he worked for. So when he was done at home he had gone to work the normal way, walking to the bus stop and hoping a bus, yes he had a car but no he did not want to drive today, tiered and a little grumpy driving would have been a very bad thing for him at this time. SO he had taken the bus to the place where he worked and sighed when he got there being put to work right away and having to do so much with the people that he did not get along with, they were all idiots no one knew how to work right there, and then the big news came for him there.

He had to go to another place to get some things for the place there, so this meant that he had to take the bus to the other place then drive a truck back to work today. Oh this had to be the worst day ever for him, he just hoped tonight when he got home to Jesi it was going to be a lot better, then the shit he has had to be put through today. Leaving the building there he walked out of there and got on another bus heading to where he had to go now, there was just a few things on his mind, what if he really wanted to ask her to marry him? Would she say yes to someone like him, would she really want to marry someone like him, he would test the waters tonight, just ask her if she would ever consider marrying a guy like him even if he wasn’t the best in the world. That was the kind of things that he had been thinking about when he got to the building that he had to get to and got the truck full of things so that he could head back to work and do all the other hell work he had.

Finally when his shift was over that night and he was able to head home he was really happy, finally be able to spend some time with the only women that he actually loved. Breathing the fresh air he walked the way home, he could it was really not that far at all and he would be able to think more then riding the bus home. Smiling he got to the house and looked up, it was quiet and few lights were on, he wondered who was home tonight if anyone at all. When he got up to the door and in he was greeted by Jesi with a kiss, it made him feel really good to know someone was happy to see him home now. Snickering he let her tie his eyes off and then followed her into the kitchen and smiled, he could smell something good in there. When she sat him down and then kissed him taking the blindfold off and then being all happy showing him this. He smiled happily. "Wow, you cooked this, it looks great love." He said before doing anything thought he got up again and picked her up kissing her again and hugging her. "Man I missed you so much." Marcus said softly then made her sit down to as he sat down again. "This is perfect." He said grinning.

Jesi was so excited that dinner worked out the way it was supposed too, well after she had to remake it and use the power of her friend to cook the steaks. As soon as Marcus came inside Jesi went into action wanting to make sure the night was absolutely perfect. She came up to her and kissed him right away and she noticed how happy he seemed that she gave him a kiss. “My poor baby I shall give you a massage later, and maybe if you are a good boy I will give you a full body massage.” She then tied the blindfold over his eyes and led him into the kitchen setting him down in front of the chair. It was then that she straddled him and smirked as she kissed him and took off the blindfold. As he saw the dinner she smiled happily as he said they it looked great and she could tell he wasn’t lying to her. Hearing this made her so happy because all she wanted to do lately was make him happy and making him want to marry her.

Jesi really truly loved Marcus and she wanted to marry him and start a family with him. She was willing to give up everything to be with him, and she meant anything she truly loved him more than life itself. She smiled widely as he picked her up and kissed her while hugging him, and she smirked and giggled. “I missed you too baby you are so amazing baby I love you, and yes this is perfect.” She set down as he put her in the seat and sat down at his own seat with their dinner in front of them. She took her knife and fork and slowly started to cut the meat while looking into Marcus’s eyes. Jesi then brought the fork up to her mouth and took the bite and chewed and swallowed it savoring the taste. Before she knew it they were almost done with the dinner she had been eating her steak very fast and she still seemed to be hungry.

Taking a big bite of her steak and Mac and Cheese she closed her eyes and moaned softly. “Oh my god this is so good seriously I didn’t know I could cook this well ha-ha.” Taking a sip of her wine she swallowed it and shivered as the smooth red wine slid down her throat and into the pit of her stomach. All the sudden Jesi didn’t feel very good her stomach seemed to be twisting around in knots and instantly she dropped the glass and it shattered. She ran as fast as she could into the bathroom where she ended up dumping the entire contents of her dinner into the toilet. She was heaving her guts into the toilet as the tears were pouring down her face, as she had never thrown up this violently before. “Marcus help me please it hurts so bad.” She was now dry heaving and nothing was coming up and she was scared she hadn’t thrown up since she was a little girl. Finally she stopped heaving up nothing and laid back onto the bathroom floor crying and curled up into a ball.

Marcus was really happy to get back home now, he didn't care about anything else other then he was there with the only person that he cared about and the only one that he would ever love in his life. Plus he was going to ask her to marry him in the end because no one else was aloud to have her other then him self now, he was protective of her, she was his and he was going to keep it that way. When he had gotten home to find out that no one else was there other then Jesi he was rather surprised but rather pleased in the long run because that meant he could be with her and no one could say anything about it. Smirking he had kissed her back and had happily let her blindfold him to lead him around, she could do anything and he wouldn’t care, well unless she killed him that would be something he would mind rather a lot. Smirking some he just went with her into the kitchen and could smell the food that had been cooking and everything that had been going on in there at that time.

Smirking he would do anything for her, and anything that ever came out of what the two of them were. Weird thing was that there was going to be something coming out of what the two of them were lovers and soon well he hoped soon to be one. Smiling he had kissed her a lot and snuggled her to him before he had put her down in the chair and had taken his own seat there at the table, the food looked really good. Smiling he looked up at her and then let that love that he only had for her show as he smiled again at her. "You are perfect that’s about it." Marcus smiled as they started eating, it was really good she had a lot of good talent that he really didn't know about, and well he wasn’t going to know much of anything else about the cooking because he wasn’t going to ask right now. He was just taking in the fact that he got to spend the night with the only women he loved enjoying a good meal and having the time of night to be able to do something like this. Man if there was anything else perfect he might pop, how weird is that.

Taking the last bite of food off of the plate he took a drink from his glass and laughed at her comments, they were so cute coming from her that it just seemed to make the whole thing that much more perfect. Well that was until she had dropped her glass and went running into the bathroom. He had no idea what was going on when she called out to him, that was when he knew something was really wrong. He got to her in there and looked around, flushing off the toilet, he then pulled some of the tummy meds he had on hand out and bent down to her giving her some. "Take this love, it should help." Marcus's voice was soft and calming as he pulled her into his lap and rocked her gently trying to get something to calm her down more, he had no idea what was going on until he saw something on the back of the sink, not just something that you would leave laying around out in the open. He had guessed that she had never went back to look at it and just got to into making dinner to cheek it but it was positive she was pregnant. "Jesi, I, we, you are we are kid, having. I'm going to be a father." There was a rather large shock look on his face but he held it together for her so that she would be alright to.

As they were sitting down at the table enjoying their dinner Jesi couldn’t believe how lucky she was to have met him, and fallen in love with him. He was by far the most important person in her life at the moment. She remembered when Caleb had found out about her sleeping with Marcus, and basically he flipped his lid. He called her a whore, a traitor to him and the cause. Anything they had going on at the moment was cut short and their friendship suffered horribly he never talked to her the same way again. Though she was upset with the loss of his friendship she truly loved Marcus and didn’t regret her decision at all; it was her turn to be happy. As they were eating he told her that she was perfect, and Jesi blushed he still knew how to make her feel like a giddy little schoolgirl, she loved him. As Jesi was eating her dinner in the back of her mind she knew she was forgetting something but she chose not to try and figure out what it was at that moment; Marcus was more important.

As she did take a sip of her wine she instantly knew something was wrong because she could feel the wine and her dinner coming back up. She just made it to the toilet in time before she emptied her entire stomach of all the food she had just eaten. As she was throwing up the pressure from her stomach made her eyes water and she started crying. Jesi was the kind of girl that didn’t cry she didn’t believe in crying because well she just didn’t like it at all. She had gone and called out to Marcus because she felt he could help her though he probably couldn’t but she didn’t care she just wanted her Marcus there to hold her. Before long he was there by her side and was handing her some meds for her tummy which should make her feel better. She sniffled as he pulled her into his lap and gently started rocking her back and forth. She took the meds for her tummy but she had a feeling they wouldn’t help at all.

As she was laying in his arms he started to speak and she could tell he was shocked at what he was saying. She put her head up and looked to where he was looking before she cried out in anguish she had forgotten. “Shit, I am so sorry Marcus I forgot I took it before I started making dinner. What are we going to do, I mean do you love me enough to have a child with me?” She started to cry again not because she was pregnant but because she feared he might leave her. Jesi did really love him more than life itself he made he feel complete, he made her feel loved like nobody had ever done before. She looked up at him and suddenly she got really scared. “Shit Marcus we cannot tell anyone about this yet, we have to think this through. If we tell someone and it gets back to Caliga we could be in danger. They might not take kindly to one of their own being pregnant with an Untainted’s child, even though I don’t care. I am just worried about you being hurt, I love you.”

Marcus looked up at her when they were sitting there at the table, it was really nice to be sitting there and having a good time with her. She was really pretty and he was more then happy to be there, he also had some other things on his mind and one of them was to ask her to marry him, he had that all planed he was going to ask her tonight with the little ring he had gotten out of the gumball machine, yeah not a nice one but he would get her something better in the next day so that he could give her something really nice. He told her she was perfect and it was the truth, she was perfect to him and he wanted to have her like that no matter what it was that was going to be going on there. Marcus moved back a little in his chair so that he could get a better look at her as they were sitting there, nothing was bothering his mind at that time because there was nothing wrong, well he thought that there was nothing wrong with them, he had no idea she had been working with something else that was going to push them forward.

Marcus thought knew something was wrong when she had dropped the glass and took off running to the bathroom where he could hear her pukeing up all that they had. He was holding himself back for a moment knowing that he did not want to make anything worse off for her this time. When she did call out to him he was right there for her, wanting to help her out in anything that was going on there and wanting to make her feel better now. She was his worked and if anything bad happened to her he would be lost and crushed, it would hurt and take everything that he ever had out of him so he did not want anything to happen to her. He got in there and got her the meds that he thought was going to make her feel better not knowing that something like that was not going to help at all, he just pulled her into his arms and rocked her some wanting her to know that he was right there for her no matter what it was that was going on and he was not going to leave. Where else would he go anyways he loved no other and no other loved him and understood him like she did.

When he had seen the thing that told him that he was going to be a father he looked at Jesi for a moment and smiled at her. She was then getting all scared that he didn't love her enough to have a kid with her. "No I don’t love you enough, I love you enough to get married to you, raise the kid together and love you with all of my heart forever and ever because you are my world and the kid is going to be ours together." Marcus told her and hugged her to him rocking her and licking her cheek softly. "Do not worry, they wont touch me or the baby and I will make sure nothing will happen to anyone and I will make sure nothing happens to us, I love you Jesi you are the light that i hold more then anything, you are my life and i think you are the most perfect thing ever. Oh wow, going to have a baby, its going to be so interesting." He said smiling and licked her cheek again smiling.

Jesi was so incredibly happy that Marcus liked the dinner, though she didn’t cook the steaks her friend did, it was still the thought that counted. As she ate her dinner looking across the table to the man she was in love with a warm sensation filled her body. She, Jesi Gallaway, was actually truly happy for the first time in years. It was then that the moment was completely ruined by the breaking of her glass and her running to the bathroom where she then procedded to throw everything up into the toilet. She of course was scared and that was when she went and called out to Marcus she needed him by her side. She felt relieved when he was literally there in five seconds by her side to do whatever she needed him to do. By then she had stopped throwing up and he flushed the toilet. Marcus then went and gave her some meds for her tummy which without realizing it she knew weren’t going to help her in the least bit.

Then her lover went and pulled her into his arms rocking her back and forth telling her everything would be alright and she believed him. It was at that moment when he spoke to her and basically they found out together that they were going to be parents. Jesi was of course scared for their lives now. If any of the Caliga members found out she was pregnant, they would be terribly upset with her. Some of the members, Caleb included thought less of her already for being involved with an untainted in the first place. Her only hopes were that Caleb would be too busy to his marriage to Amber to pay attention to the fact that one of his followers was carrying the seed of an “Untainted”. Jesi went and voiced her worries to Marcus but he was quick to settle her nerves and be completely reassuring.

He told her that he didn’t love her enough to have a child with her, that he loved her enough to marry her and raise their child together. He also told her that he loved her with all his heart forever because she was his world and their child would be theirs together. Jesi couldn’t believe the words that were coming out of his mouth she was completely shocked, she didn’t know he felt this deeply for her. “Oh Marcus I love you so much, and if you are actually asking me to marry you then my answer is yes, I would love to be your wife.” Hugging him close she got up and brushed her teeth knowing she didn’t want to kiss him with the way her breath was smelling at the moment. As soon as they was down she basically jumped into his arms and pressed her lips to his hard and ran her hand over his face. “I love you Marcus Quatermaine now and forever, until our time is through.” She snickered before speaking again. “ And yes to what you said before our child is going to be very interesting, but I hope he/or she comes out looking like their father.”

Marcus was really happy with a lot of the things that were going on there, he was just glad that he could come home and have a good dinner with the love that he had there. There was not a single negative thing that was playing in his head everything was happy and light thought a bit on the weird side but that was jut them, they were always weird no matter what it was that they were doing in the long run. Marcus just knew that when they had a time he was going to ask her to marry him, he had thought about this on the way home, and there sitting at the dinning table it was all worked out in his head and he had it all down to a pin it was going to be something special, well it was going to be that and even with the breaking glass the throwing up and the realization that they were going to be parents it was all still rather worth it to think of something like that, he was more then ready for what it was that was laying ahead of him there now with her and there future. He had given her something he thought was going to help but he knew now it wasn’t really going to with what it was.

Marcus was more worried about her then he was for himself knowing what it is that she did and why it was such an interesting thing that they were together. He knew she was a member of that group of people that hated the untainted, they did not keep any secrets from each other any more, he told her everything and such came things back to him, but he did not care he loved her to much to care what she did. He was just worried now that the man that ran the thing was going to hurt her, he could not bare to let anything happen to his girl and his soon baby they were going to make great parents and it was going to be a good time with the two of them. When she started to voice the things that were warring her about how things were going to be he just had to make sure she was going to be ok. The only thing she seemed to be worried about was about him, but he was more about her then anything else, he could fight she couldn’t now not like that.

She had asked him a stupid question, that if he loved her enough to have a kid with her, that was dumb but he did not care, she was worried and he had to tell her the truth and now was a good time to just ask her to marry him then things would be ok. So he had asked her in so many words and she had said yes and that was what made him happy to know that she would want to marry him as well. "You are my life and the only reason why I am living right now is to be with you and love you for the rest of my life you are everything to me. This kid is just something that proves that we love each other and yes, we will get married and I can call you my own forever love." He hugged her some and then let her get up and then brushed her teeth so that she could feel better. He then laughed and hugged her again and kissed her hard and held her close to him. "Jesi Gallaway, no that doesn’t sound right." Marcus said licking her nose softly then smiled at her. "Jesi Quartermaine, mother of our child love of my life. Forever tell the end of time, I love you and that will never change." Marcus held her close to him and snuggled her.

Jesi still hadn’t fully realized what was going on until she and Marcus sat there in each other arms and said out loud that they were going to be parents. The night hadn’t gone how she had planned originally at all, but it wasn’t a complete disaster. Of course breaking glass, throwing up, finding out your pregnant isn’t exactly the way to start a romantic night together. She wasn’t worried about herself or the baby at that moment all she was worried about was that Caleb or another Caliga member would hurt Marcus. She didn’t want to think that way because she really did love him, and though her friends didn’t understand why, she still didn’t change her mind. Jesi had been striving her entire life to find someone who would love her for who she was and not for what she was, or trying to use her to get close to someone else. She used her powers to her advantage before just to be with random men, or even women just trying to get the feeling of love into her body. It never worked because she couldn’t keep them around long enough before she got bored with them or they found out they were under her powers.

When Marcus had gone and moved into their home, she was instantly attracted to him and planned to fuck him and that would be it. Over time she found out that it was much more than that and she had fallen in love with him, before ever finding out he wasn’t tainted. By that time it was too late for her, her heart was given away to him, and she braced herself for a heartbreak when she told him what group she was apart of. Knowing full well that she could get into trouble with Caliga if they found out she told him, but that just didn’t seem to matter to her at all. Going back to the present Jesi paid close attention to Marcus as she voiced her opinions on how scared she was for them and not wanted him to get hurt. He reassured her that nobody would be hurting any of them, but Jesi was still worried Marcus didn’t know the full capabilities of what Caleb could do. Sighing into his arms she listened to him talking to her, as she kept worrying. He was answering to what she had said when she asked him if he loved her enough to have a child with her, she was just worried she didn’t mean to it come off as offensive.

He told her that she was his life and the only reason he was living right now. He said that he was living to be with her and love her for the rest of his life, and that she was everything to him. He also said the child would be something that proves they loved each other. He said that they would get married and then he could call her his own forever, Jesi smiled she couldn’t wait to be married to him. It was then that she got up and brushed her teeth so the feeling of dirtiness could leave her mouth. After that she kissed him hard and smiled widely as he held her close to him. Jesi had to laugh as he went off and said something so cute, he said that her name didn’t fit, didn’t sound right. Licking her nose he said that Jesi Quartermaine sounded right, the mother of his child and the love of his life. “Oh my god Marcus you are so sweet you are going to make me cry, I love you too baby so much I cannot wait to be your wife and be with you forever.” Kissing him lightly on the lips she hugged him close to her.

Marcus was worried about her and everything that went along with who she was, she was something that he was now rather worried about so he had the right to be worried. From the moment the glass hit the ground to the point that they found out that they were going to be parents he was a bit of a odd one. He knew now that one day all the times that they had sex they were one day going to end up having a kid, and well now it was a perfect time to be having a kid, with all that was going on and with the war that looked like was going to be starting up then it was something of an odd thing to think about. When they were in the bathroom and he had seen the thing telling him that well, telling them that they were going to have a baby he was still rather shocked but really happy because that meant he was going to be a father, and he was going to get to marry her, because he would not let that kid go with out a father he was going to make sure of that, he loved Jesi anyways she was perfect and beautiful and everything that he had ever wanted in a girl even if she was tainted.

From the moment that he had moved into the house, he knew once he had to fuck her, get it over with and said that he had at least done her once. To him, she was just another one of the girls that all she would ever want was for him to do her and have it done, but from the first kiss that they had ever shared they knew that there was something different between the two of them and he was really happy that there was, it meant that he had something with her and he wanted that. She from the first time he had her to the time now as he held onto her happy to find out that she was going to have a kid, he wanted nothing more then her by his side morning, noon and night. Now the only thing that was worrying him was making sure that she was going to be alright, making sure that she and the baby were going to be safe, and if it meant moving them to a better place then so be it, he would do it for her, he would give up everything for her but he would never give up her or the baby. He loved her that much, so much he would be with her thought all of this and be with her forever that was what he had said and that was what he had promised her, and what he was always going to promise her forever.

He was going to make sure that she knew that he cared about her, he was making sure that she knew he would be there for her no matter what it was that was going on in the world. They were going to be one together and it was going to be something great, he also knew if they were going to get married they were just going to go to the court house and do it there because they did not want a lot of people to know what was going on and if they did it would be interesting. He was going to tell her so but she had gotten up, and went brushing her teeth he thought that be a good idea then smiled hugging her close and kissing her back, he liked that she had soft lips in more then one place so he just liked kissing her all over, made him smirk but right now he wanted to kiss her lips and told her that her name was wrong. He laughed as she was being cute about the things that he was saying to her, he knew she would like them and they to him were all true no matter what it was that was going on there. They were going to be one together for all things. "I love you so much, so how far along are you? Do you want to get married soon? Hummm." He smirked and kissed her again, rubbing her back lightly.
