For teh Robby and his Calebthing.
The square was strangely silent, but like any other day, there was still the stench of those who were Untainted lingering in the air. Even the silence did not promise freedom from those burdens. The hazel eyes of the blonde haired male swept over the silent people, gliding from place to place. There was life in the square, but a sort of 'dead' life, there was no vigour in the movements of the soulless shells moving about. All of this Luthan watched, from his solitary perch on the top of a building, arms resting on his knees as he sat on the slanted rooftop.
He had moved to this little community almost 6 years ago, yet, it still didn't feel all that different. He had moved to this little community because it had promised to be a place where he would meet others of his calibre, others who had the Gift. He had moved to this little community to find only a handful of adept users, the majority of the population seemed to be mere fledgelings who were only beginning to experience their powers. Even that wouldn't have been as distasteful as the fact that those people made little effort to actively pursue mastery of their unique abilities, as they should have. Not everyone was special like they were, yet, they were letting this opportunity go to waste. They were revelling in living a life of normalcy. They were fools.
Luthan spied a boy on the ground, in his mid to late teens, who had been pulling half-heartedly at a large boulder when it suddenly rose in his hand with ease. He gave a yelp of surprise and let his guard down, and in that moment of foolhardy stupidity, the entire mass came crashing down, pinning his forearm to the ground. His cries broke the silence that had taken over the square that morning, and people came running from all around. Several tried to pry the boulder off the boy, making little progress. Luthan watched, somewhat amused at the turn of events. A smirk played on his lips, and he watched as they continued to push at the large rock.

A little grumpy and a little groggy, he was not supposed to be out of his bed which was his doctors orders. But his doctor was Annabelle so did he truly listen to what she requested of him when it came to his health. No he was doing what he wanted and when he damned pleased it. He heard from a friend that this name named Luthan Talinthorpe would be an interest to him. Caleb rolled his eyes at the mans pathetic power but heard it was not his power strengths. How the man used his powers was at the brink of trying literally everything with water, even people. Practicing his powers on people? Seemed interesting also logical so he thought hell why not give the boy a talk. He watched Luth for some days prior to getting shot in the arm. Was nothing sparking or interesting at all so he thought hell why not just walk up with a friendly chit chat.
Keeping his distance for now he sat down on a bench and fumbled around to get a single cigarette out of his pocket. Then out of the pack was a monster and quite annoying too, which made him even more grumpy. At least he can light the cig with one hand then shove his things back into his pocket. Sitting there with his left arm in a black sling, yes he was dressed head to toe in black. Jeans, long sleeved shirt and boots to match the whole attire as well as his trenchcoat jacket. He was going to get up from his seat when he saw a little boy messing with his powers. With a smirk he thought to mess with the boy but the idiot did something to himself. The boulder dropped on the boy which now people were trying to get to him and help. Caleb rolled back a laugh but did not let it out loudly instead he used the mild distraction to get closer to his target.
Smoking his cigarette he walked slowly over to the building where the man was spying. So childish, but he did not even bother he just did the normal routine which was as he walked he used his power. Well the first step which he forced inside Luth's head to find out what was the man's worst fear. This process never took him long to do so he smiled slowly as soon as he got it then smirked contently. He went right to the building still smoking and did not care if he smoked bothered the man. His blue eyes watched as people feebly tried to help the stupid boy and then spoke. "See this kind of tragedy happens when people like us are not allowed to freely work out powers. Accidents happen and people get hurt." He remarked slowly but loudly enough for the man on the small building rooftop to hear him but did not look at him at all.
He just stood there continuing to smoke with his back leaned against the side of the building. "So do you spend most of your time lingering on top of rooftops and watching teenage boys, Mr.Talinthorpe, or was today just a special occasion." He remarked with a smirk then his head slowly turned up so the man knew he was was being spoken to. Shortly after Caleb leaned off the building then he rose one of his brows and kept looking up at the man. "Should get down from there. I am sure what I have to say to you would be most to your interest. First though you look ridiculous spying from up there and second I hate talking up to people." He set down his commands, or wishes more like, then he walked a little away from the scene but not far. Just out of the way for the man to take a leap and drop to the ground.

(I was tired and skimmed the post so there, already fixed) -Robby
At the scent of the foul cigarette smoke, Luthan's eyes moved from the boy and his crowd of helpers to the source of the carcinogenic smog. A man with an obvious affinity for all things dark. Every piece of his attire was black, and the long trench coat was a nice touch too. It would have been totally inconspicious if he hadn't been in an area where black stood out a fair bit in contrast to the milder and lighter colours of the square. As Luthan stared at the man, his dislike of the smoke not revealing itself on his facial features, he felt an unfamiliar sensation, as if someone was forcing themselves into his mind. Which led to only one conclusion. This man had powers. The nature of his powers exactly wasn't clear, but he was using them.
Luthan chuckled to himself. He should have realised it earlier. The smoke, the outfit, perhaps this man had meant to make his presence known. He was here with an agenda, an agenda which obviously included Luthan. His eyes were no longer on the poor fool with the boulder on top of him, but his ears were giving him a decent picture of what was happening.
"You! Over on that side! Get the rock off of him."
"How the hell did that thing get on top of him? It weighs a ton."
"Yeah, you'd need some sort of superhuman powers to even move that thing."
Fools... he muttered to himself in his mind. Further contemplations on the matter were interrupted when the man he was staring at spoke up, and suddenly, it was as if the two had been transported to a different dimension. The surrounding noise shut itself out, and all Luthan could hear were those words. Words which he could easily sympathise with.
"See this kind of tragedy happens when people like us are not allowed to freely work out powers. Accidents happen and people get hurt."
Now Luthan was definitely interested in this strange man. Not only did he have powers, but he was certain that Luthan had them too. While Luthan was not afraid of showing his abilities in the least, he hadn't done so in front of this man yet, and the man still knew. Did it have something to do with the mind probing from before? Or was it something entirely different...? Luthan smiled when he heard the man's somewhat insinuatory question, although within him things were beginning to tick. Nothing on his outside showed his annoyance though, as a light smile graced his face. "Firstly, a rooftop isn't quite as poor a location as you seem to think. It gives you panoramic views and elevates you above the rabble," he remarked, waving a hand nonchalantly at the small crowd below. "And secondly, I could ask you the same question, sir, you seemed to be enjoying the spectacle of young teenage boys far more than I was."
"Should get down from there. I am sure what I have to say to you would be most to your interest. First though you look ridiculous in a tree and second I hate talking up to people."
What a high horse this man was riding on. Nevertheless, Luthan decided that he might as well comply. He had nothing better to do, now that the entertainment from before had reached its conclusion. With a light push, he vaulted himself off the rooftop and landed neatly on the ground, facing away from the man. "So I see you have done your research, and know of my name and my Tainted status. I, on the other hand, am far less diligent, and did no such thing." Luthan turned around to face the man, a warm smile on his face. "May I have the honour of knowing who it is I address? I think that would take precendence over whatever it is you wish to discuss with me."
