It was 7:30 pm. Toni walked over to her bed and looked down at the outfit she had picked out. It was simple yet her own. There was black pants that always hugged Toni in the right ways and areas set on her bed waiting for her to put them on. a sexy tube top has a hidden side zip closure and a padded bust with a lace trim for a girlie finish. She had this pair of leather strapped shoes setting on the floor. She smiled as she knew that this was a good outfit. She took off her robe and began to get dressed. She already had her under garments on so that wasn't a big deal. Once she was all dressed she walked back into her bathroom and looked in the mirror. She grabbed the mousse and put some in her small hands. She rubbed her hands lightly together and then ran her fingers through her hair. Once she felt like she had got most of it, she reached over for her hair styling gel. She put some on her hands and ran her hands through her hair again making it look like it was a grunged wet style. She put the gel down on the counter and reached over to her sink. She turned on the water and washed her hands. Next it was time for the make up. Under the sink Toni bent down and picked up her make up box. She set it on the counter. She pulled out some brown eyeshadow, black eyeliner, black mascara, lip gloss, and lastly her foundation. She set everything down on a towel on the counter top and began to apply her make up. She was very precise and steady when applying her make up. Now that she was already to go she grabbed her black jacket that was a bit heavy but it kept her warm. She walked down the stairs in her house and into the kitchen. She grabbed her keys off of the hook and began to walk out the door. She walked into the Sticks and got a small bar table that was near the front corner. She had ordered herself a blooming onion to snack on and then she ordered herself a strawberry lemonade. She looked around wondering where Ody was. This would be their first time meeting each other and she was actually starting to get a little nervous or maybe the nervousness came from the guy who had a black ring box in his hand getting ready to propose to his girlfriend. The waitress came back with Toni's order. Toni smiled as she picked up her drink and raised it up to her lips.

[W] for language ^_^ Odille tripped over a pile of laundry on her way to the bathroom, she made a mental note to pick that up when she got home later. It was five to eight and she was still barefoot. She was wearing a blue flowery dress. As she stood in front of the bathroom mirror fastening the clasp of a clunky teal beaded necklace, she slipped on her shoes, woven pumps in a matching shade. Her hair was messy and curly. “Shit, shit, shit.” She said stuffing various objects into her purse. Lipgloss, (which she didn’t need because she almost never bothered with it) her wallet, and she wasn’t sure, but she may’ve accidentally knocked her toothbrush in there in her haste to get out of there. Maybe a bar of soap too, and God only knows how many other useless objects. She looked in the mirror one last time, she nearly never wore blue, but for some reason she felt like it lately. Fumbling with the lights, she headed for the door, dodging other objects that were strewn about. She had a terrible habit of not putting things back where they belonged. She locked the door of le petite petite cottage and headed out at long last. It was already eight so she had to do a fair bit of running, which was aggravating after having invested time in getting ready. She swore to herself half the way into the square. Especially since she was utterly freezing, having left without grabbing any sort of sweater or coat. She thought fleetingly about snatching one from an unsuspecting untainted, but brushed the thought off when she finally arrived at The Sticks. Odille wasn’t entirely sure what Antonia looked like, mentally scolding herself now for having completely disregarded asking. She let herself inside and glanced around with squinted eyes. There was a girl sitting alone in the front, she scanned the room again quickly and saw that she was the only one alone there. “That must be her.” She thought to herself. She had brown hair and was wearing a pretty strapless plaid top, on the table were the remains of a drink and half a blooming onion. Odille shrugged sympathetically, she was about ten minutes late. “I hope you weren’t waiting too long.” She said. Since coming to France, with the purpose of seeing if there were other’s like her, she’d taken up what she liked to call a “collection” of Tainted people. Well, really she’d only become acquainted with a few. The “collection” was more a mental list of the inhabitants in the area with special abilities. When she met someone who was confirmed to be Tainted, they were added to the list. When she noticed anything peculiar about someone, she’d investigate it further. Having a photographic memory helped. It was amazing the sorts of things people could do, but every time she found someone new out she felt less and less special herself. Strangely, or perhaps not so strangely, she hadn’t bothered with anyone who wasn’t Tainted. She’d asked to meet Antonia in an abrupt and short manner. She was anxious to make an actual friend. And she was going to have fun with it, surprise her with an illusion and then they could laugh about it later. “You’re Antonia I hope?” She let out a long breath, and sat herself down. She had goose bumps from the cold and was winded, but she tried to breath evenly and not look like some kind of hyperventilating savage to the new acquaintance.

When Antonia heard her name she couldn't help but jump a little bit. She had been spacing out on the time she had with Soda down on the beach. A smile was on her face as played with the food that was on a separate plate in front of her and she played with her straw in the drink. She had her head tilted some as she just imagine Soda and the feel she had with him. she turned and looked at the girl that seemed to be running late.
"Yes, Call me Toni." She said with a smile as she turned her body completely to look at the girl. She let go of the piece of blooming onion that she was playing with and reached for a napkin to wipe her hands. She hated having greasy fingers. IT always lead to dirt and later on pimples so she was careful to wipe her hands before touching her face. She looked at the girl and smiled.
"Odille right?" She said with a smile on her face. She reached her hand out to the girl to shake. Toni was the type of people that is normally really easy when it comes to introductions and getting to know people. She was good at this even before her ability became active. Her father said that it was a trait that she had picked up from her mother. She missed her mother a lot though. Everyday Toni is always reminded to how much she is like her mother which is both a pleasing and also a dreadful curse.
"Why don't you pull up a seat." She said with a smile on her face. She wanted to make sure the girl was okay. She turned to the waitress and pointed to the water bottle to tell her that the waitress needed to bring one over for Odille. She turned back and looked at Odille. Toni could tell that Odille isn't from around here otherwise she would have remembered seeing her face. Toni had a great memory when it came to people and faces and names.
"So I take it you are running just a tad bit behind schedule today huh?" She said with a smile on her face. Toni always made sure that she was not behind schedule. She was the type of person that normally arrived early and was on time looking glamorous. It was just the way she grew up with her dad. Her dad always had a schedule for himself and Toni found it very useful to have one.

"Yes, Call me Toni." She said. "Odille right?" She reached out and shook her hand, “Yeah, wow, no one ever says it right,” She laughed and Toni told her to pull up a seat. She slid into an empty chair next to her and began to ramble, “Probably because my mother sort of invented it, it’s a French name, but it’s supposed to be pronounced “O-deal” but she thought that was stupid so she decided to call me “O-deal-lay”. It sounds like a bag of potato chips.” She smirked and shrugged and the waitress brought her some water. “Could I get a beer as well please? Whatever’s on tap…” She asked in French. Her words were probably a little mixed up though, as she wasn’t a proficient yet.
"So I take it you are running just a tad bit behind schedule today huh?" Toni said, but she didn’t seem angry about it. “That’s the problem, I don’t have a schedule at all.” Odille smiled apologetically, she really felt bad, “I am sorry for keeping you waiting.” She was a very disorganized person, by no means dirty, just disorganized. Her cottage, decorated in beautiful Victorian (and mostly pink) furniture had things out of place everywhere, blankets thrown on the floor, magazines left out on the counter. It was just her personality type. She always knew where everything was even though it stood in disarray. Then there’d be occasions when she’d get in the mood to tidy, and everything would somehow have it‘s own place. It was all very random, but she usually straightened things up when people were coming over.
She took a few sips of her water and didn’t have much else in mind to say, so she decided to get started with what she asked the other girl there for. She felt a jolt of friendly scheming excitement. The waitress was leaving the bar with the beer she had ordered, Odille didn’t turn around, but concentrated. Hard.
She walked toward the table, the beer on one of those little platters, and began dancing a sort of ballet. She was doing dainty spins with the beer in one hand, twirling and lifting up one leg, then finally setting it down in front of Odille with a graceful elaborate wave of her hands. The waitress had really just walked on over and set it down, that’s what everyone saw. Odille stopped, and the waitress was standing just where she should be to all present. She asked if they needed anything else. Odille shook her head no and looked to Toni to see if she wanted anything else.
She couldn’t look at her for long or she’d start laughing, so she looked away and took a big gulp of her ice cold beer. It was funny for her to be drinking beer because she looked so dainty all the time, but she loved the taste of it and preferred it over liquor. As she drank she tried to think of something else to do that would be strange and amusing. She pictured a goat in a purple dress walking in through the door on two legs, and she was careful to make Toni think that she was just sitting there ignoring it all. She wondered if she could pick up on her feelings of trickery, and hoped that if she did she’d know she only had friendly intentions. The goat walked to the bar and ask for a Long Island Iced Tea. It then sat down and lit a cigarette, crossing it’s legs casually. It took a few puffs, then went for the bathroom.
“So tell me about yourself I guess," She asked conversationally. She twisted a lock of her curly hair between her fingers. It was purple at the ends for the time being, thanks to her new housemate Masi. "Have you lived in France long?”

Toni looked at her and was amazed at the story behind Ody's name. "It is a really really pretty name though. You should have pride and happiness because you have a very unique and one of a kind name." She said with a smile as she reached over at the blooming onion and took a few pieces off. She set the pieces of onion onto her plate. She took a tiny bit of the onion trying carefully not to make a mess of it. She hated crumbs. They were the worse things in the world. Crumbs could always kill the opportunity with any guy.
Toni smiled and shook her head. "don't worry. It's fine." She said as she picked up her drink and took a sip. "Everyone is different and I guess that is why I love how different everyone is." Toni was a very organized person. Her mom always told her that if she wasn't organized then she couldn't get anything new. So Toni made things fit neatly and somehow she always found more room. She keeps the whole house clean. She normally does this the most when she is avoiding a problem or trying to keep her mind busy.
She smirked and bit on her lip as she sensed the playful trickery that was coming off of Ody. She glanced around and laughed softly. She looked down and bit on her lip. She was not sure if anyone else saw but she thought it was all funny. "nice trick." She said as she looked over at her. "But maybe you might want to cut it down some. There are some people around here who don't exactly like the Tainted." She said softly. She wasn't trying to be mean or anything but she wanted to keep her new friend safe from any harassment that might happen.
"I have lived in France my whole life." She said with a smile on her face as she looked at Ody. "My mom was born and raised here in San and my father is an Italian man." She said "Italian man," in a thick Italian accent. She never stayed in Italy long but she was fast on picking up accents. She was always fascinated with the Italian culture and well every other culture and lifestyle. But mostly she was so interested in it was that maybe it would make her closer to her father but it didn't. She always wanted to have a relationship with him but it just never worked out.
