"Very. It's like a second home to me." she stared at the darkness of the woods. "Well a third home to me," she added as she laughed since g sounded like a joke. "To tell you, I was a wolf for at least three days, I think, I was part of a wolf clan." Danae admitted. "They were a family to me and they still are. Though I have no clue where they are now. They may be here or somewhere else." she explained. "But I'll find them or they'll come to me." as she bit her bottom lip. She heard the wolves howl again and this time, Danae howled too. Her howl was low, long and somewhat loud. She stopped howling and looked at Izar with a somewhat guilt look. "Sorry, I sometimes do it. Mostly at night. I hope it doesn't bother you." she apologized again.
Danae laughed at Izar's question. It seemed odd, yet a little funny, well to Danae. "Of course. Well cooked meat." she grinned and chuckled. "I mean what else is there? Besides vegetables and fruits. Not that I eat those either. I eat all types of food." Danae explained and she simply shrugged. "But I have eaten raw meat. I have eaten the meat of an animal, but it wasn't one that I have hunted or almost killed." she admitted. "Does that seem wrong?" Danae asked. "Don't hold back on what you think." she added.
"You've killed a man?" in shock, yet amazed. "I'm so sorry." she whispered. "When I'm an animal, I sometimes lose control and become how you say," she scratched her neck, "beastial? Or part of the personality of a typical wolf? I think the attitude. So yeah." she explained. "And when I become, beast like or wolf like, I'm usually a wolf or a panther, I attack whenever I see a prey. So I've attacked a human before. That sorta ended me up in a zoo or a cage for a while."
"Thank You." she smiled at Izar with sincereness. "At this time of the year, I feel not alone, but strong and energetic." That was true for Danae. She really didn't adapt to the summer or the heat. Usually some of the animals she can turn into currently, are fur and can usually survive the cold, like the mountains. But at times she can relax and have a good time in the summer or heat. It's just that her energy is somewhat lower. Though, that hasn't stopped Danae from having fun and getting into trouble. Sometimes her animorphism helped her escape or avoid a few situations.
"Really?" she cocked an eyebrow, "That's fascinating! I sorta never heard of it before, until now!" her voice was energetic and loud, it echoed throughout the whole woods. "It's like you're part of an element." Danae added. Though it sorta puzzled her, of its meaning. Danae looked at the wings with great astonishment. She had an interest in angels and their association with wings. But never had she thought of it existing, well sorta, and that she'd be this close to it. It was like a miracle or a wonderful dream come true. Well one of Danae's dream to see or do. "They look beautiful." she complimented. "And can you fly?" she asked. That somewhat popped out of nowhere, though she had that in mind. "Do you mind if I have a touch at the wings?" she was hesitant of that question. "You can say no, I'm just wondering and saying you know." she added quickly.

He cocked his head and his eyes widened in surprise. "A wolf clan? That is very cool." He nodded amazed that someone would be able to join a wolf clan. He heard the wolves again and wondered if this was the pack that she might have been talking about. He shrugged inwardly, there were probably several wolf packs around there was a low chance that this one was the one that she was talking about. He jumped slightly when she howled and he laughed, "It's fine I've just never heard a person howl before," he smiled. He shrugged, "Can you tell a certain pack by their howls?" he wondered aloud and then smiled sheepishly.
He felt himself redden with embarrassment, "Sorry, I guess that was a stupid question." He smiled and laughed off his unease. "No not at all," he said quickly, "It's not wrong at all. Everything needs to eat and what you eat is what nature intended you to..." he thought for a second then shook, "unless it's canimbalism..." he made a sound of disgust and laughed. He shrugged again and leaned back against the tree, "I was just wondering if you were one of those people who are very against killing animals." He smiled, "It's not really different than a lion killing for a meal anyways." He sighed and stopped talking realizing he was rambling.
He sighed and hung his head nodding slightly, "It was an accident and I wasn't thinking straight." He said as if he desperately needed to prove something to Danae. He smiled, "I see, I think I can understand that, instinct takes over." He nodded ignoring the thoughts that were invading his mind at the moment. He laughed, he couldn't help it, "That's no good!" he found that it was far to funny than it should have been. He chewed absently on his lip ring to try to hold in his laughter. It took him a few moments of silence but he got himself under control.
"Your welcome." He smiled and chuckled lightly. He grinned, "I have to agree the air is crisper at this time of the year." He shrugged, "It's hard to explain, it's like the air is more awake at this time..." He closed one eye and looked off into the sky for a moment with the other as if that would help him find the words he was looking for. He caught the misty form of a sylph dancing on the winds. She laughed lightly and the sound echoed like the wind thought the leaves.
He gave up and shrugged and looked back at Danae. He nodded, "I must admit I've never heard of your power." He smiled and felt a cool breeze go past his cheek, "I guess you could say that." He grinned, it was very pleasurable to be able to see the air currents and elementals. He looked happily at the wings on his back and smiled. They reminded him of angel wings and honestly he was far from angelic. "Thank you," he beamed then laughed, "These aren't for decoration." he laughed and twitched them once. He smiled, "Go ahead," he spread one toward her. They were indeed a lot larger than they appeared folded, "They are very useful in fleeing from people" he winked, "If you get what I mean." he said referring slightly to escaping after causing problems for the untainted.

"I'm still part of the wolf clan." Danae nodded, "It's just that I forgot what wolf species that I'm still part of." in a funny way as Danae chuckled. She picked her teeth, the sharp ones, again and this time she got a little cut on her index finger, it was a little bleeding. "Oh crap. Whatever." she murmured. Danae got out a small cloth and simply dabbed it on the cut. In a few seonds, well thirty at least, it wasn't bleeding anymore. "You know that always happens to me whenever I pick my teeth. Sorta weird, but oh well." she smiled at Izar. "Well now you have. I think its rare, since there doesn't seem many Tainted that have the ability of Animporhism. Well it depends on whether or not I met them, known them or even visited the place where they lived." in a joking way. Izar's question seemed informational and yet interesting, but Danae was in no way or form of hesitating his answer. "Well of course. You see each wolf clan has different a pitch, tones, and volume. I think only few people can hear the difference between two very different howls. Of course one of them is me. Though I can only define a couple of different howls, not a whole variety. That for me might take time." Danae explained, thoroughly and as best as she can with the info she heard and knew.
"Oh no. It isn't!" she shook her hands in disagreement. "If I were you and I didn't have the power of Animorphism, I'd ask the same question." Danae chuckled at the word of cannibalism. Though her feelings were somewhat mixed. "Well I'm sorta mixed about killing animals. It really depends on who the person is, the animal and really the situation." Danae sighed and cracked her knuckles. "Well after a while being in a zoo cage, you'll start getting sorta comfortable." she chuckled and cocked her eyebrow.
"Yes. I really love the cold. I'd rather live in a cold place than a warm place" she moved her hand, in a way that she was catching the air. For a moment Danae was like a child again, no worries and no problems. She was in her own little world doing whatever the hell she thought was fun. Though she wasn't alone. She was always with her friends. "I feel like I'm a kid again." Danae muttered in a silly way. "Boy how time goes fast doesn't it?" she said as Danae was fully awake now. She really didn't care the what time was it. She sometimes wished that it would just be night forever.
"Well there's different varities. Some are related or similar." Danae explained. "Even though I've only heard a few of them." she added. "Have you ever heard of other powers Izar?" Danae asked in a curious, but hesitant way. "Of course not." Danae agreed with him, "I mean what use is your wings if you can't use them?" in a sorta stupid voice. "Would you want to show them off?" she asked. "Not that I'm insulting them in any way." she added quickly.
Danae was a little startled. She slowly raised her left hand as she touched Izar's wing, but only the tip. It was soft and Danae couldn't really describe her feelings. She felt the layering of the feathers. She then placed her hand on the edge or sides of the wing. Danae felt like she was dreaming, but she wasn't. This was real. Anything like it. She never wanted it to end. Never have she thought of touching a wing. This was a sentimental moment. Maybe this would never happen again.
Danae removed her hand from Izar's wing and sighed. Then she grinned and was still in somewhat of a dream look and feeling. She laughed at the last thing Izar said. "Well you certainly have an advantage, since not that many people can really fly." in a silly voice. She then looked at the water with curiousity and asked Izar, "Do you like the water? I do." she just simply smiled and shrugged.

He smiled then when she bit her finger sighed exasperatedly and put a hand over his face, "Wow, do you do that often?" He laughed and smiled, "You seem to be very good at injuring yourself." he laughed teasingly. He shrugged, "Yeah I haven't seen anyone around who has that power and I've been a lot of places." He smiled, "Rare indeed." He thought for a moment scratching his chin with a finger absently. "So being able to hear the different pitches must be kind of like recognizing different winds." He chewed on his lip and nodded, "Or something like that, I suppose." He smiled, "That must be fascinating." He listened a little more carefully as the wolves howled in the distance and tried to make a mental note of what the pitch sounded like but he was pretty sure he wouldn't be able to remember. He smiled, "That is very cool, it's like knowing another language."
He shrugged, "I guess so. Like if it was senseless killing perhaps." He smiled, "I suppose," he laughed at the fact of zoos being comfortable. He smiled feeling slightly better to know that she would have asked the same thing had she been in his position. He raised an eyebrow, "A zoo comfortable, I never would have thought." He grinned, "Or is it the free food?" He laughed lightly. He felt a slight breeze by his ear and glanced over to see a sylph had made her perch on his shoulder. Her tiny legs tickled his wings as she kicked her legs back and forth. He smiled and she giggled swooping down and around the clearing.
He nodded, "Yeah I agree, thought I don't like extreme cold. More like moderate temperature." He shrugged and smiled as she put her hand out like she was catching the air. He couldn't help but laugh as a sylph twisted out from her hand and made upset faces at her and shook it's tiny fist at her. He smiled and nodded, "I love that feeling," he looked up and spread his arms wide and spun for a moment, "The time does fly doesn't it?" He nodded in agreement. There were many time he wished moments would never end but then there was so much he would have missed had time not continued. "But if it doesn't fly we will all perish before we start living." He said with a half smile of simple longing for a life lived forever. "The night is beautiful," he said softly, "however, if you fail to see the sun your whole world will be as dark as the sky." He said feeling slightly like a philosophical.
He shrugged and nodded, "I've heard of a few. Like I've seen people other than me control the elements and I've seen people control the shadows and lights." He shrugged, "I'm sure there are far more than that." He smiled, "They are very useful," he repeated then shook his head, "No I would never want to show them off." He cocked his head to one side, "Well maybe a little, but if you think of the consequences it seems much better to keep it a secret." He shook his head disregarding her next statement, "i never thought you were." He beamed and closed his eyes for a second then opening them again to watch the stars in the sky for a moment before turning them back on Danae.
He felt a faint chill go up his spine as her hand touched his wing. He had never noticed how sensitive his wings were. Of course they could feel the air but he never realized that this was what it would feel like if someone touched them. He couldn't lie he liked the feeling and the way it sent chills up and down his spine. He didn't realize it before but when Danae removed her hand from his wing, he had closed his eyes and was completely relaxed. He felt like he had just slept a long while and was completely content. He opened his eyes and of course he would never admit ti but he liked the way it felt.
He laughed with her and nodded, "I would hope so. It would make the Air Lines go out of business." He chuckled and waved his hands in the air as if to say God Forbid! He was startled at her next question. He felt himself freeze and the feeling of content-ness disappeared. "W-w-w-wat-t-ter?" He stuttered his voice shaking and cracking. He closed his eyes and his wings disappeared into his back. He put his hands over his ears. His eyes were wide as he stared at the water as if it was going to eat him. He was still leaning against the tree but now it felt like a restraint and he pressed against it. He could hear his mothers voice echoing in his head screaming at him he was worthless, useless, he deserved to die! He felt his throat close and gasped for air and his knees shook violently. He struggled to regain control, his tongue felt like lead and he couldn't think straight, all he could manage was, "No, no I do not like water." He watched the ripples like a dead body was floating in it. His dead body, it was coming back for him! He could feel Need at his hip like a pulsing creature and felt like he was going to die right then and there.

OOC: Sorry, I took a while to repost. [W] a little though.
"Sort of." Danae smiled as if she was guilty of something. "Yeah. That's what happens when you, not sure how put it..." as she snapped her fingers. "Um, let's say sorta traveled and be with animals." she laughed as she rolled her eyes. Danae nodded with definite agreement. "Yes, it is like that. There's high pitches and low pitches." she explained. "Though I can get confused with the pitches and I can't tell which wolf clan it is. Because I get so used to one pitch for a while that I forgot about the other pitch." she added. It sounded complicated, but it really wasn't. Danae grinned and bit her bottom lip. "Yes it is like knowing another language. And only few can understand it, and sometimes speak it. I'm still shaky on speaking with other animals."
"It is. I mean who would kill just for the fun of it?" Danae asked seriously."Well I've heard some people talk about and maybe done it." she added as she scratched her forehead. People have killed just for the fun of it. It was sad and really mean. Just the thought of losing someone from your family or someone you know. It was like a piece of you had been broken from your heart. Well that's what Danae thought of it like that. "Yes. It is. I sorta made some friends in there. Though I haven't seen them for a while. They're probably still in there." Danae closed her eyes for a minute. She giggled of what Izar said about the food. "The food was alright. Though they don't feed you everyday. Just like two or three times a week." as Danae cleared her throat. "Though it had some bad things too. They forced me into do things that I've never even heard and do before. And I was always put up for sight-seeing. I mean would you like it if people stared at you all day and made a freakin stupid comment every few minutes?" Danae asked as she opened her eyes.
Danae gasped loudly as if she was at a surprise party or if someone had told her a big secret. Plus, no one was there, besides the two of them. Well counting the animals. "Opposite." she whispered. "Well I like moderate temperature too." as she shrugged. "Of course. People noticed that once in their life." as she clasped her hands together. "I guess." she shrugged, since she really didn't know what Izar had said. "It is." Danae was really in agreement of the night being beautiful. "Well the dark life is sorta started for me." she whispered. "But yes, the sun is beautiful. Just having light on your skin even for a minute is like soaking in fun and energy." Danae explained.
"Really fascinating. I wonder how many are there. And what their opinions are." Just the thought of of what Danae had her wonder and imagine. Some of her imaginations are wild and out there. While others are things that may be possible. She didn't give a damn about her imaginations. It was like she owned and had a world that she knew. Though maybe some people were like her. Just not found out and talked to. "Good." she smiled in relief. "Of course you have to think about the consequences!" she exclaimed. "Who doesn't? Well some people. People don't give a damn. They do what they want and whenever they want to." she titlted her head to one side. "Or maybe they want to be noticed. So people know that they'r a threat." she added. Her opinion was complicated. It was mind boggling.
Danae's face was drained of happiness and energy. "Oh. I do." she muttered. "I'm really sorry that I asked that." she hanged her head down in shame. Her face was full of regret, sadness and that she was guilty again. "I really am sorry. I didn't know about that." Now she wished that she hadn't even asked that question and thought about it. It seemed that she had hit a sore spot for Izar. She would always do that to pretty much everyone she had a conversation with. Though Danae has been put in the spotlight and been teased on before. Everyone would have to be in the spotlight. People have hit Danae's sore spot. In fact, she had tons. It was like being criticized over and over again. Every little thing.

OOC: it's ok! <3 __________________
Izar nodded completely fascinated by the different pitches and what not. He wondered what it would be like to talk to animals. He had a fairly good relationship with birds but nothing to the extent of speaking with them, though he could communicate with sylphs. He shrugged, that was kind of like he was nervous about talking to other elementals. "The only way to learn is to try." Izar shrugged and smiled, "Do you know what elementals are? Just like you can talk to animals I can communicated with them." He never knew anyone outside of those with elemental powers to be able to see elementals but he couldn't be sure.
He shuttered, "Yeah, people who kill for fun are the people that make this world hell." He glared off into space and crossed his arms. Izar shrugged, "I have a few people I care for who I would be crushed to lose." He said, "you among them." He smiled, "However, there is no one in my family that I would miss." He glared again. He hated them though he regretted saying so, that would bring up more questions that would be painful to answer. Izar laughed, "I guess sometimes the bad out weighs the good. I can see it getting very annoying after a while of people asking stupid questions. I've only been to a zoo once or twice but I've seen the 'daddy make it move'" he imitate a little kid voice and laughed, "I think I would have gone insane.
He laughed as she gasped like a little girl finding out so juicy news. He rose an eyebrow and chuckled. He nodded, "Ironic huh?" he joked lightly. He nodded, "Not complete opposites." He smiled. He nodded ,"Me, too," he agreed, he was a very dark person. "The sun is a wonderful thing," he winced jokingly, "Unless you burn easily." He had only to be burned once to get him to wear sun screen all the time in the summer. "It's so weird that all of this life and everything around us," he spread his arms and spun for a moment, "it's weird that it never would have been here if not for the sun." That always amazed him how a star, a thing of burning gas and dust could be essential for life to thrive. Even the nocturnal animals needed the sun though they might not know it. The sun was truly a wonderful thing.
He nodded he could only imagine the infinite powers that people possessed. It was hard to fathom much less accept. He nodded, "I know some people have no shame... or common courtesy." He added the last part from personal experience and shrugged, "Some people just don't care, but I know what would happen if people found out about me." He paused, "I'd be locked in a lab being tested and I might not ever see the outside world again. Some don't realize this until it is too late." He remembered that Danae had said that someone had seen her changed, "Be very careful," he advised, "You don't know who might want to get at you for tests if people know about you." He warned, not to be morbid or mean but he really didn't want to see anything bad happen to Danae.
Izar shook his head knowing that he had hurt her, "I'm sorry," he said quickly, "I wish I could like water, but its too..." he trailed off not wanting to say, 'it brings to many memories.' He shook his head, "It's not your fault, you couldn't have known." He smiled, "Do you want to go sit by it?" he asked. He wouldn't like it but if it made Danae happy then that was all that mattered. He smiled and closed his eyes for a moment, He could only see water as a demonic creature but he knew it wasn't. It was his mind that made his see it leap out to get him. He knew it was silly but he couldn't help it.

"Are you serious? You can communicate with elementals?" it was obvious that it was a shock to Danae. She've heard of the word elementals before, but not necessarily known the meaning of it. A new thing she learned. "How do you communicate then?" Danae asked with such curiousity. No one ever knew this, not even her family, but Danae loved the elements. She wondered, once or maybe twice if there was a person tainted with an element. And here he was, sitting right in front of Danae. What are the odds of that? She rubbed the back of her neck. It really started to hurt. She didn't know why though. Some things just happen to Danae without a warning.
"Truth be told," she paused for a moment, "I really don't have anyone that I'd be crushed if I losed them." Danae admitted. That was a little uncomfortable to say, clearly. "Only my family. Minus my dad." she added. "God, I hate him. I just..." she shrugged and tried really hard not to cry. She tried to push it away from her mind, but she couldn't. Though something caught her attention from Izar. "And why is that Izar?" as Danae cocked an eyebrow. Though it really depended on the history of your family. Really hard put. Danae laughed and grinned. "Interesting." Danae commented.
She ran her fingers thru her hair, nervously. For a moment, Danae couldn't think of anything or say anything. "Well that's true. The sun must be first, then the moon. Sad." her eyes were down at the ground. She started to get sleepy, but she didn't show it. "Though I don't burn easily. I wish that for once that it'd be just pure dark. Well that's one of my 'dreams or fantasies'" she licked her bottom lip. "Is that wrong?" as she closed her eyes, "to even have a dream?" she asked another question again. "They think we're just some lab rats, waiting to be experimented on and used as a project for everyone." Danae sneered. People were like that. It was unfathomable if Danae had the chance to even meet people like that. Well if she did, she'd kill them in a heartbeat. That was how much and serious Danae hated people like that. And to think that is their job. Who would want a job like that? She opened her eyes again, this time a little different than before
"I will. I promise." she smiled at Izar, with great sureness. A promise. It'd been a while since Danae had made one. Though her past history of keeping promises were alright. Sure, she'd break a few of them, but they weren't really important. Though this promise was important, for a reason. "And you be very careful too, especially with your....wings." in a stern and caring voice. "Please?" as her eyes were at Izar's, with softness and sympathy. "I really don't want anything happen to you. It seems that you're the friend that I really care about for the moment." in a fragile voice.
"Are you sure?" Danae asked, just for reassurance. Her eyes were at the river and the water was just flowing streamlessly, going on and on to nowhere. Finally, Danae got up, after a long time. She barely felt any movement in her legs. It was nice to move or do something, after sitting. Though she didn't mind sitting. Just once. She looked down at Izar and held out her hand. "Come on, I'll help you up." Danae said. Her mind was sorta focused on Izar. Most of it. It seemed that Danae's rough exterior or wall had melted away. Just for Izar.

Izar beamed, "Ah, so you know of them?" He laughed, "It's very much like talking to a human although it is more powerful to use the element that they are linked to." He turned to look at his hand. He outstretched it as if to form a landing platform for something. "Dearling, will you show yourself, please?" He cooed softly to the air as the small sylph landed on his hand. She made a noise of annoyance and with a swirl of wing she became visible to people. She was like a creature composed completely of wind and silver. She was both human in appearance and not at the same time. She sat there a glowing light from inward making her shine in the darkness. She yawned lightly and stretched icy like faerie wings. She leaned back on his hand and whispered something in a high pitched voice that sounded just like the trill of a breeze through wind chimes. He laughed, "She says to tell you that you almost hit her earlier."
Izar nodded and sympathy filled his eyes, "What happened with your dad?" he asked hoping he wasn't prying to much. He shrugged and decided to answer truthfully, if he wished her to be honest with him he should be honest with her. "I should say I wouldn't miss my real parents." He began, "My mother was raped by my father and no one knows who he was and my mother wanted to do nothing more than kill me." He shrugged, "Coldness for coldness." He laughed bitterly. "It's over now, all in the past." He shrugged and decided against telling her that that was why he was afraid of water. He sighed he wondered if she would trust him he hoped that she would.
Izar nodded, "No, of course it's not wrong!" He said quickly wanting to banish the thought from her mind. "It's perfectly alright to wish for darkness." He shrugged, "Darkness is very misunderstood. Many people think dark equals bad when really darkness means nothing more than that. Yes, the force of darkness and what not but really there are people who love the light who are just as bad a people believed to be dark." He smiled, "Dreams are wonderful, no matter if they are bed dreams, they help us learn. And for example the light being more dark then the darkness the people who test things on the tainted. They think we are dark, so they kill us." He shrugged again, "This world can be so confusing," he was even confusing himself with his rambling and so he decided to stop.
He smiled, "Good," he looked down at the ground under him and zoned out for a moment feeling relief that she was going to be alright. He was so zoned out that her next comment caught him by surprise. "I will I promise, "He smiled warmly and nodded t her last comment, he felt the same way. He decided to make a joke to try to lighten the mood a little bit. "Although, it would be entertaining to see the controversy. I can see the headlines now: Pope angered by the Militarily's mistreatment of the alleged Angel. Pope demands freedom for the so called Spiritual Being." He grinned and chuckled. "That would be entertaining to see."
He shook his head, "Yeah, I'll be fine." Izar was in the process of getting up when Danae offered her hand. He smiled warmly and took it. "Thanks," he beamed and gripped her hand to haul himself to his feet. He Smiled as the sylph swirled once around and left with a high pitched giggling laughter. He didn't know why but he felt at ease with Danae, he was usually wary but he felt completely comfortable. He began to walk toward the hated liquid holding his head high and showing no outward signs of fear... yet at least. His insides were in a knot and his heart was pounding as if he had just ran a Marathon.

"So it's like you can talk to any element, but it's more stronger or better when you talk to the element you're related to the most?" Danae summarized what Izar said. It didn't sound confusing. She just wanted to see if she understood it. Took things a long time for Danae understand. If a friend tells her something on a Tuesday, hell it might take her like until Monday to figure it out. Just depended on how complex the comment or explanation was. Most of them were fairly complex, but Danae got them all down. Danae smiled and was happy. It was because it seemed that Izar too liked animals. That was one big thing that was important to Danae, whenever she met a person. Or even her friends. How did they like animals. Since her ability is probably self-explanitory.
"Oh crap!" exclaimed Danae. "Tell her I'm so sorry. I wouldn't even dare abuse animals." she apologized. Just to see an animal hurt really affected Danae. Even a mouse. From the smallest creatures to the largest animals. Also from the harmless creatures to the dangerous animals. She glanced at the sylph and had a 'soft' spot for birds, or any kind of animals that can fly. Was a hobby or usual interest. Seemd a side effect of animorphism. But she liked this 'side effect'. Gave her an understanding of how animals are alot like human beings. Just interpreted in a different way.
"He just left me when I the minute I was born. But I didn't know this. My mother told me when I was nine. So yeah. The reason was that he was Untainted. Don't know if I should forgive or forget." explained Danae in great detail. "What raped? Are you serious? Sad." his words really shook Danae. Frightening thing to be raped. Danae wouldn't know what to do if that happened in her life. "Do you still love your mother?" asked Danae. She hoped she didn't anger Izar. She really didn't want to see him mad over a question. Though the questions was really painful. Even for Danae.
"I hate that. But somehow I kinda feel sorry for them. I think that they're pressured by their peers. If one person doesn't agree with everyone else, it can really affect their life. Thus, maybe shunning." explained Danae. Her opinions of light and dark were not at all strong, but they weren't weak either. Really more of a neutral balance. "This world is confusing. It'll get worse later on I think. But life really isn't fair. Well for me." she shrugged it off and didn't think much about that topic.
What Izar said made Danae laugh. "Yeah, I'll pay and laugh to see that? Really weird and freaky if it just happened any day. But that'd be cool. Well in a certain way." She hasn't had a good laugh in a while. It felt really good. Like just a certain amount of weight been lifted off her shoulders. Lighten things up. Danae was really not that religous. Though she appreciated everything that kinda made everyday life flow through in and out. Like a clock. It seemed the base of everyone's life.
"You're Welcome." she grinned and walked to the river. "Hey are you alright with this?" asked Danae just to be sure. She really wanted Izar to be fine. Probably him more than her. She squeezed his hand, which was warm and smooth and now she was a couples inches from the edge of the river. She just reached in, with her feet, and barely touch the surface of the water. Danae didn't touch the water with her hand. Not without caution from Izar.

Izar nodded and smiled, normally he had to explain it in such detail that it was tedious. That was how it was when he told his foster parents. they just hadn't been able to wrap their minds around it. He can communicate with all elementals. It's just easier to communicate with those of air. He breathed a sigh of relief. It really wasn't that had to get. "Normally ti takes people a while." He shrugged, "My foster parents still don't get it." He sigh, "Alas, what can you do?" He smiled, he was glad that there was someone in this world that he didn't have to talk through everything. He watched as the sylph stirred a young owl to life and started to spin around playing a game of tag. It must be nice to be so carefree.
Izar laughed and with a push of the breeze sent the soft whisper of his voice to the ears of the sylph. "She's sorry, please forgive her." The sylph smiled and laughed her bell like song and nodded, "She accepts your apology." Izar said with a chuckle. He loved sylphs, for all that they were alien they were familiar. He nodded, "I know what you mean, I hate seeing animals hurt. Especially by the human hand." He shook his head, it was so sad how some people felt the need to abuse defenseless animals. Many were dogs and weren't dogs supposed to be man's best friend. Why did people do that if that was true?
His brow creased with sympathy. "I'm sorry." He said, "That is a haunting thought." He said referring to whether she should forgive or forget. "Do you know why he left, like was your mother tainted and he didn't know or something?" He felt his heart flood with sympathy. He closed his eyes and nodded. That was the reaction most people have when they hear that his mother was raped. "She never let me forget it." He said grimly his anger smoldering. He could hear her voice even know: 'Demon! You look just like him! You're going to be just like him! You deserve to die for what you did to me.' "There were times when she thought I was him and took her anger out on me." He opened his eyes and fixed a glare at the nearest tree knowing that it would be unfair to send it at Danae. "Would you love someone if they tried to kill you?" He countered, twice, his thoughts screamed and he ground his teeth in anger.
He got himself under control and slowly released the iron grip that he had absentmindedly put on the hilt of his sword. He closed his eyes again and opened them carefully. "It is very sad indeed." He said delayed about his mother being raped. He glanced back at Danae, "No matter." He smiled. He turned his mind away from that and to their conversation on darkness. He nodded, "Darkness can scare a lot of people, but it's just different and not very well explored." He said, "It's sad to see a little child get shunned because he thinks differently and likes darker things. It is a really bad stereotype."
Izar wasn't a very religious person but he could agree that it would be quite humerus to see a fight between science and religion about something like that. He felt his mind go numb as they approached the water. The sickening feeling of not being able to breath consumed him and he had to take deep breaths. He didn't trust his voice not to crack but to answer her he nodded and squeezed her hand back. He had to smile there was something calming about having someone hold his hand in hard times. It gave him the calming feeling of not being alone. He watcher her touch the water with her foot and it rippled calmly. There was such a calm feeling in the air but he felt so shaken. The sylph came to a perch on his shoulder and he smiled at her. He followed Danae's suit and reached out with a foot. He hesitated before finally sticking the end of his boot to touch the water just barely. It didn't reach up and grab him. That was a start. He let out a breath that he didn't realize he had been holding. Memories flooded his brain and he pulled his foot back and took a slight half step back.
