After logging off his computer, Andrew felt like banging his head into his desk a few times. Why had he just agreed to do this? Wait, no, stop thinking this over too much. They were friends, nothing more. Both him and Rosie knew that. So spending the night together in a tent was no big deal for the two of them. No big deal, no big deal... right. All he had to do was keep telling himself that and he would be absolutely fine.
Andrew looked in the trunk of his car to see if he had everything he needed. Yup. Everything in the back of his little sports car. If anyone saw them, and knew that they were going camping they would laugh. Not many people went camping with a car that was built to go fast. He let out a small sigh as he slammed the trunk door down to close it. A star-gazing sleepover in Marseille with his best friend... who he happened to be in love with. Yeah, this was going to be interesting to say the least. Walking around to his door, he climbed inside. He brushed off his jeans and white button-down for a brief moment. He shut the car door before putting his key in the ignition and starting his 'baby' up. He backed down the driveway, and headed for Rosalie's home.
Finally arriving, Drew got out of the car and walked to the front door and gave it a knock. Soon it would be just the two of them on the way to Marseille. He had long ago, about five minutes, decided that he was going to take her to the beach instead of the church. Sure a church could be appropriate, but they would probably be kicked off the premises as soon as they took out the tent. That and she was upset about some guy, and waves crashing was about as soothing as one could get, right?

After Andrew signed off, Rosalie quickly jumped from her chair and started packing. She ran into the kitchen, grabbing containers of various random foods and stuffed in a sports bag. She dragged the bag back into her room, placing a couple blankets and pillow inside as well. She looked around her room, trying to see if she forgot anything. Not seeing anything that comes to mind, she quickly changes into her pj's. A simple white tang top and a pair of blue knee-length shorts. She grabbed a blue jacket and quickly putted it on. Smiling satisfied with herself she picked up her sports bag full of her goodies and walked outside her room. She waved goodbye to her room mates and headed towards the door
As expected, Andrew has just knocked on the door. She giggled to herself and opened it. "Hey, I'm ready lets go!" She grinned excited, she really missed having these sleepovers with him. He was so comfortable to talk to, that she'd fall asleep so easy next to him. It was kinda strange, she just always felt as ease with him around. She walked down down her front steps and towards the car. She opened the truck of his car, and tossed her bag inside and slammed it shut. She quickly opened the passenger seat door and sat down slamming it shut. She pulled on her seatbelt and clicked it into place. She was ready.
Her thoughts wandered, as she waited for him to start the car and head to Marseille. She was just lost in thought. Her eyes gazed out the window. The stars up above, always made her feel closer to God, closer to her father. Close to something bigger than herself, making her feel apart of something magical rather than just being an ordinary person. It's why she loves being who she is, and loves that her friends that she surrounds herself with are just as special as she is.
She looked over at Andrew and smiled. Oh how she has missed these little trips she and Andrew would have. They've talked so many hours, gotten so close in just a course of a few years. He was a Godsend to her, someone who made her feel just utterly amazing. Made her feel worthy, beautiful, even special. Dare she think it, in love. Oh but that would ruin everything, she knows it would. Andrew would probably think she was being awkward, and she'd lose her best friend in the world. She knew, she'd have to stay quiet, though she didn't know how long she could.

Andrew cringed slightly each times her heard a slam from his car. One of these days... Rosalie would realize how much this car meant to him, and not to slam the door. But until then... he would continue to cringe. Getting into the car on his own side, Drew gave her a large grin before buckling himself in and restarting the car. The drive to the beach wasn't long, though he was sure she would be a littel surprised at their change in destination. Driving on the road, Drew almost felt free. He loved just getting in the car and going. Didn't matter if he had a destination, or if he was just driving to feel the slight vibration of the steering wheel, and listen to the hum of his engine. He was shocked when his parents bought him this car, he had wanted something different. But after driving it for the past two years, he wouldn't want anything else.
Finally arriving at the beach, he uttered a soft 'we're here' to the girl in the passenger seat, and exited himself from the vehicle. He made his way around the front, and opened her door. Offering his hand to help her out, he said a soft 'M'lady'. He was overdoing the properness, but that was just how he worked. All he was expecting was a laugh and Andrew, you're so weird. That was what he usually got when he did things like that. He made his way back to the trunk and grabbed what he was supposed to bring. Tent, sleeping bags, graham crackers, marshmallows, matches... That should be everything. He waited for her to grab what she brought, and then started heading down the beach. There weren't many people, but the people that were there were couples who wanted to be alone. Drew tried not to look at them as he passed.
Finally choosing a spot that was rather secluded. Andrew dropped what he had on his back. Time to try... and set up the tent. It had been a while since he had attempted, but he was pretty sure that it was still easy. It was only a two man pup tent. The two would be rather cozy, but neither of them minded. At least... Drew didn't mind, He wasn't sure about her. It was big enough for two people. Two people that reallllyyyy like each other. He set it up with very few setbacks. It only fell over once. Though once he finally was finished, it was good to go. He opened it enough to toss the sleeping bags in. They could set up the inside when they started getting a little more tired. Besides, it was still early.
Looking to Rosalie, he placed a big grin on his face and his hands on his hips, almost imitating a superhero pose. Then he snorted softly with laughter and looked around, bringing his hands down. He needed to look for firewood. He had matches, though not enough to roast several marshmallows. He just hoped that everything he would find won't be wet. There is nothing worse than trying to light a fire with wet wood.

When Andrew pulled up to the beach instead of the church, she looked at him and smirked. "What are you planning Mr. Carter?" She said jokingly as she placed her hands on her hips. She quickly laughed as he opened her door and held out his hand. "Yes I am Sir Carter, I am ready for my close up!" She said through a smirk and got out of the car. She closed the door slowly as her attention was directed to the beach.
It was mostly empty, 'cept for a scattered few couples walking the beach hand in hand. She sighed longingly as she looked back at Andrew who was pulling things out of the trunk. She shrugged and headed over to pull her things out as well. As he started to walk over to the beach. She closed the trunk with her things in her hand. She followed Andrew to onto the beach and set down her things in the sand next to him. She slipped off her shoes, digging her feet into the cool sand. She took a seat in the sand, slipping off her jacket and placing it on top of her bag. The cool breeze felt wonderful against her skin.
Rosalie looked out into the sea. Small gentle waves crashed against the shoreline. It seemed like a scene from a romantic movie, all was missing was cheesy music like 'It's Gunna Be Love' . She giggled at her thoughts then turned her attention to her object of desire, Andrew. He was attempting to set up the tent. She leaned back, propping herself with her arm. "Andrew, do you think the tent is big enough for us?" She examined it skeptically. It looked like it was enough for two people, though it'd be very close. Though a smile started to form on her face. Tonight was going to be very nice. She turned back to face the waves and started to hum, 'It's Gunna Be Love'.
In mid-thought she stopped humming and leaned her head back. "Andrew, do you need help with the firewood?" She asked him. "I'd feel bad if you did all the work tonight, and I'm getting cold." She smirked rolling over on her stomach in the sand. "Besides, I feel glad you came. Really. I just wanted to show some thanks." She floated up from the sand, still in a lying down position. Though she slowly moved into a standing position, her feet gently touching the sand again as she dusted herself off.
