So, even though there is such thing as “Survival of the Fittest” there also is “Brains over Brawns”. You may be a muscle-builder BUT you may not be smart. Using your mind is the key tool to survive in this world…mainly with the fact that the opponent has powers. Use your brains wisely, then you shall live. Don’t use them at all…why the hell are you breathing?

Eyes: Matthew's eyes are Hazel but whenever in the light his eyes seem more Green with tints of Brown in them. And in the dark his eyes seem to be more Brown with Green tints in them. So really, it all just depends on the lighting as well as the situation you are in with Matthew. If he's very tired, his eyes will seem dull. If he's excited, his eyes with gleam brightly. Hair: Matt has dark brown-black hair, that is short and can be spiked. But for the most part, Matt rarely ever does anything to do his hair and even if he did something he would just put a little gell and spike it up. He also really, really, really hates things like hair-spray because he hates the stiff feeling. Height: 5’9 1/2” Weight: 135 lb Distinguishing Features: There is one thing that he never has taken off, even far away it can be seen glittering. It is a necklace of the Sun that was given to him by Artemis. He always has it on and never ever has taken it off ever since he got the necklace. Other: Matthew's style is a little hard to tell. Since at times he'll be wearing a sporty appearal and the next it'll seem more dressy. Matthew doesn't really have a certain style, since he normally buys his clothing at the mall where many stores reside.

Place of Birth: London, England Family: Delilah Lewis - Mother - Tainted Nathaniel Anderson - Father - Untainted History: Matthew Nicholas Lewis grew-up in London and went to Wellington Academy, for Elementary School, and West High Academy, for Junior High and High School. Through all those years, Matthew went through hell each day at home but at school he faked a smile and lived as well as acted as if nothing was wrong. Each day, he always tried his best to stay far away from his household as long as he could which meant he was always on a Sports Team or doing Extra Credit to hang out with friends or just going to Library. Just anything and any reason Matt used to escape the hell-hole he called home.
Cassandra Locke and Ryan Tucker were Matthew's best friends, no matter what Matthew did they always stuck by his side always supporting and helping him out. But when the two began falling for one another, Matthew ended up being Cupid. Though Matthew was very well known with the ladies of West High Academy, Matthew never really stayed with one girl for long. He always ended up breaking up with the girl after a few months. And it also concluded to Matthew that the two wouldn't be there for him as often; but he knew that the two really liked one another by the way each told him how the felt about one another.
After hooking the two love birds up, Matt's conclusion came true. He saw less and less of the two, but he said nothing. He knew he wanted to hang out with his buds but he did not want to seem like a nuisance so he said nothing and just left them be. His life at home didn’t change, his Mother always got hurt and so did he. The only reason his father even hurt Matthew was because he had his Mother’s blood in him. But he showed no signs of being a Tainted.
Delilah, Matthew’s Mother, soon enough had enough for the cruelty that was given to her and finally killed Nathaniel, Matthew’s father, with fire the one thing that even Delilah feared, which was her power ironically. And with Matthew and Delilah were finally free. And with that freedom they both wished and yearned for a fresh start. And that lead them to, France. Sanglignée to be exact was where the two went to. And as they entered the wonderful country side, their life did change… Greatly for that matter. Matthew ended up going to Sanglignée School and also finally ended up with a few friends. But they did not and could not replace Candy and Ry, because they were there for him through the worst part of his life... Well, what seemed to be the worst.
Out of the very few friends he got, there was one girl that he was attracted to. Artemis Salena Falcon. She not only was beautiful but intelligent as well. But also...a lot like him. Though he enjoyed having fun and goofing off, he was a loner in many ways. He had been one for the longest time ever and Artemis seemed to be similar in that way.
After asking Artemis out the first time, he got rejected.because she thought he was joking. The second he still got rejected but she actually began to think about was still unsure. And finally the third, and as they say, "The third is the charm". And it was for Matthew, Artemis agreed and the two dated till they both turned 20.
But their life was great and wonderous till, Artemis got pregant. That was when Matthew got scared, frighten as hell he leaves and runs away from San back to London. His Mother had returned a while ago back to England, but where exactly...Matt did not know. As he reutnred back to England, he began to yearn for Artemis once again. Unsure of himself, he just stayed in London but he did not date again. He just was not sure if he was over Artemis, which he was not.
As a year went on he finally returned back to San. He isn't sure if Artemis is there but he knows for sure now... He is in love with Artemis but he cannot say or act upon it as he fears he may become like his Father or like his Mother.

As if it wasn't cold enough outside. As if there wasn't enough snow. Even though there was enough snow on the ground that day to come up knee or thigh deep for Aerona, it wasn't the ideal type of winter wonderland she enjoyed in her dreams. Oh no, the winter wonderland she enjoyed in her dreams was perfect. How could it not be? It was what she dreamed of, of course, and whatever a person dreamed of was perfect...to them at least. Her winter wonderland was magical in a beautiful way, yet dangerous all the same. That was exactly how she liked it, in fact. Aerona was known for having a demure appearance and shy approach, but inwardly she did not feel so. She had a dry and sarcastic sense of human, and was practical for the most part. If something needed to be done, after all logic had been used to understand the situation and create possible solutions, and the chosen solution was the best of two (or three, or four) evils, then she would do it. If she had to do it, whatever that 'it' was, she would not feel guilty about it either. She would know that it had to be done, and so would find peace within herself from that.
The unholy blooded witch rolled over gracelessly on her bed. While on her stomach, Aerona stretched her body until her back curled and bent so that she could see out of the window. The small, rectangular window was stationed above and to the right (right side if you're looking at the bed) of her bed. The glass of the window was misty and foggy, allowing for very little viewing. Aerona stared hard through bits of the glass that she could see through, spotting the cheerless snowy grounds of Beauxbatons. How would Beauxbatons appear to anyone down on the ground right at that moment? The snow covered castle would probably seem as cheerless and cold as the grounds looked. The only place that felt warm and festive were the house common rooms and the Great Hall itself. Other than that, the floors were stone cold and the walls were dark.
With a tired sigh Aerona pushed herself away from the window, happy to let the press off of her back. She rolled back onto her bed, staring up at the ceiling. I need to do something...she had been reading for most of the afternoon when rather suddenly a wave of boredom washed over her. There was only so much reading that she could do in one day, and she believed she had reached her quota. It wasn't stormy outside, but she had no desire to go out to the village either. The village was beginning to get boring during the winter, and so Aerona was slowly losing sight of what she could do. She had practiced using her sword and daggers every so often in private, but it was difficult to find a place to practice inside. The empty classes were no longer empty during the winter season. They were often filled with snogging couples, or younger students who were playing indoors with their friends. She could have used the room of requirement, but there were times when couples were using that too. Many liked to keep warm during the winter, so the room of requirement was ideal for many cuddling couples.
It wouldn't hurt to try the Room of Requirement one more time...would it? No, Aerona supposed it would not hurt. Perhaps she would get lucky this time. Aerona pushed her body off of the bed, bending down toward the floor to let her hand snake under it to get her weapons. She froze in mid motion, her fingers gently touching the cold leather of the sheath that held her short sword. No, no weapons practice this time. She would use the Room to exhaust her mental capacities first. Rhys wouldn't fail her for wanting to stretch her imagintion again, would he?
The walk from the common room to the Room of Requirement felt rather short, though in reality it wasn't at all. It simply felt short because during the entire walk there Aerona was thinking over what she would ask of the room. Besides, she had walked to the Room of Requirement plenty of times before in the past. She used the room frequently. So much in fact that the room had begun to know what type of clothes she even enjoyed. Which was rather creepy, actually. But even when she got to the Room, she stood in front of it with a concentrated look on her face. The image of a winter wonderland was forming in her head slowly. Once she had the image completly formed, she walked three times in front of the Room of Requirment, bidding it to do as she asked--no, as she needed. She stopped at the third time, turning to look at the wall. For a moment there was a silent stillness, then slowly the door began to form. Dust fell from the edges of the door as it formed from the stone wall, and quietly the complete door opened.
When Aerona walked through the door, she stepped into a house. The house had no sense of warmth to it, but instead seemed to embody the rigid coldness of winter. The ceiling was somewhat high and very white, with bright yellow-ish lights hanging from the ceiling lighting the room. On the right side there was a large, cold fireplace. It had not been lit it seemed, which was why the room felt so cold. Aerona quickly made her way towards the cold fireplace, opening up its 'doors' and reaching her right hand into the large crevice in the stark white wall. Fire egnited from her fingers, engulfing the wood and making it crackle with life. Satisfied, Aerona left the 'doors' open and took a step back. She could already feel the room begin to warm up a little.
But this was only a house. Where was the winter wonderland Aerona was so fond of? That will be shown soon, dont worry. Aerona let her attention wander around the room she was currently in until she spotted a white dressing screen bordered in clean and shining black wood. The screen was thin enough to show a curvy silhouette of someone, but not thin enough to show the person's body. Aerona walked behind it until she spotted a dark wodden stool with a full, white cotton dress folded on top of it. On top of that was a thick furred cloak, also white. Ahhh, so she was supposed to put them on?
To cut things rather short, Aerona put the clothes on. The cotton dress was beautiful, trimmed with lace here and there to make it just perfect. The cloak was thick, heavy, and warm. Perfect for going outside. With the thought alone, Aerona heard a click and a creak of a door open. She stepped out from behind the dressing screen to look farther at her left; a white door had opened up to the outside. She wasted no time, and allowed her feet to quickly make their way towards the door and out onto the porch. The winter wonderland she had created was beautiful yet dark. The snow that covered the ground was light and bright white, bumpy here and there. The trees were stark, dark, and frozen, their branches frosted with snow just a little. Some ways away, though it was visible to Aerona's eyes, was a small creek that flowed gently. The water was probably freezing!
With a satisfied and excited smile, Aerona took the steps down from the pourch and let her boot covered feet hit the snow. She took several quick, light hearted steps toward the thickness of the trees that surrounded the house. There were so many trees, actually, which was why it seemed to have a dark quality. That, and the sun was slowly beginning to go down. Darkness would fall upon the winter wonderland soon--which was exactly what Aerona had wanted. She made a trail towards the bubbling creek, bending over to peer into the water, her smile bright but soft. This was exactly what she had dreamed of. If only there were more Room of Requirements in the world. Character Model: James Lafferty
