Full Name: Alessana Claudia de Luca. Age: Eighteen -- nearly nineteen. Gender: Female. Date of Birth: December 31, 1988. Laaaate that night. Tainted? Yush. Ability: Empathy - though it's very hard for her to control. She can't alter people's emotions yet, and has no idea that that's even possible. Beliefs: That she was just given a 'gift' to make her and her life ever more awkward.
a p p e a r a n c e
Eyes: Dark brown, rather like uncreamed coffee. They're slightly almond shaped, but a bit more round, and framed by dark lashes. Hair: Blackblackblack. Okay, so it's really daaaark brown that appears black in most lighting. She often wears it to her shoulders - she used to wear it short and choppy until she decided she didn't want to be like her sister and grew it out. It's soft, despite the array of split ends, and Al never really knows what to do with it. It's just another annoyance in her life. Height: Fiveeight. Though she doesn't usually seem that tall - being so quiet and all. She appears even smaller when seated. Weight: About 138 when she wakes up, and hitting 140 before bed. Distinguishing Features: Al would say her eyes, but others might say the shape of her face. Round, seemingly innocent, and very doll-like. Other: She's thin, but not too thin, though she appears very small in her choice of attire. Baggy, saggy, clunky items. Items that make her appear less pretty and help her feel invisible.

Place of Birth: La Palascia, Otranto LE, Italy. Family: Father: Dante de Luca. Mother: Rebecca de Luca. Brother: Angelo de Luca Sister: Adelina Rosa de Luca. History: It was late. Nearly midnight. Screams rang out in the maternity ward as Rebecca de Luca kept the doctors and nurses busy. Celebrating New Years? Not this time. Kicking, Rebecca grabbed onto Dante's collar, tugging his face close to her as she threatened him for doing this to her. And to think, she had been so happy earlier that day at the idea of having babies for the new year. Soon after, with a bit more fighting, Angelo came. The only boy with a headful of dark hair. Were they done? Certainly not. Rebecca and Dante knew they had been blessed with twins earlier that year on a visit to the doctor and, though at first were worried, were more than happy. Alessana followed her brother six minutes later, quiet and uncrying. But something was odd. Rebecca, having thought she was through, found that she wasn't. Nope. Twelve excrutiating minutes passed before a smaller, louder bundle was birthed.
Thus was the beginning of the de Luca triplets. A set of triplets who, really, could not be more different. Whilst Adelina was busy making scenes and Angelo was busy causing chaos Alessana was content sitting quietly with her toys in the corner or watching the mess her siblings made. Her own company was perfectly fine with her. Though, as she grew, she found herself unconsciencely attaching to her elder brother more-so than her little sister. Only because, though Angelo acted out, Adelina was just much too... BAM. In your face. It was too much for the introverted child sometimes. Which also led to Alessana's love of the quiet.
School was a sanctuary. Even with the constant badgering of chatty classmates Alessana found something that she excelled at. Acedemics. Namely history and languages. The girl never went out of her way to make friends and while her sister was busy kissing boys Alessana was busy raiding the school library. When Ade started dancing, Al started reading. When Ade starting singing, Al starting writing. And when Ade starting taking pictures, well... Al just hid. A introverted wallflower through and through.
Graduating was probably the worst part of Alessana's life to date. It meant use of the public library and more time spent at home. Although she found herself following Angelo around more just to use him as her shield against Adelina's relentless nagging than someone to talk to, she DID feel a bit more connected to her brother than her sister. Perhaps because, without him, she'd feel as if no one else understood her. After all, Angelo acted out and caused trouble because it got him attention, right? And what did Alessana do? Nothing. She read. Some cry for attention. Except, really, the worst part of graduating came when Adelina decided that what she wanted to do with her life would affect the whole family.
Move to Marseille.
The move tore Alessana apart, though she kept quiet about it. What could she do about it though? Complain? Complain and break the heart of her baby sister, anger her parents, and... and what? Exactly. Nothing good would come of complaining. So, reluctantly, Alessana moved to Marseille to die. It wasn't much sooner after the family had moved that odd things began to happen. She would be quietly sitting in the same room as her brother when a wave of emotion would strike her. A wave that was very unlike herself. Anger. Strong, heated anger. Or she would be following her sister, unwillinging, of course, around the house and be struck with the urge to smile out of the blue. It wasn't too long after all of this that, upon watching the news, her sister burst in on her and... well, soon disappeared. About a month or so after that she ended up coming to her with news that left Alessana a bit speechless (shockshock). Of course, her sister HAD to be trying for attention... right?
But, maybe she wasn't. Because the idea of something so bizarre struck home. Was... was THAT what Al had? A gift? Was the sudden bursts of overwhelming emotion that she got when in someone's precense... not just some odd happening? Alessana, having found the Marseille library soon after they'd moved in, went on a mission to research it all. However, during her research days, Angelo came out with another smilar story. It was all too ironic. Soon after Alessana found herself stealing her brother away to tell him of her 'gift'. Best him rather than her sister - Ade would, in Alessana's mind, think Al was just wanting the attention. Angelo wouldn't care. And he didn't. And Alessana felt just a bit more... normal.

RP Sample: [My most recent on. Yes, it's not amazing. Shoosh.] Serbia's shoulders slumped and she automatically lowered her cup away from the offensive plant as she caught the subtle shake of the head William was giving her. Why she always listened like that, she'd never understand. But then again, it wasn't like the plant had accepted her offer, so she had no qualms doing as told. Instead she took a sip of the punch, staying quiet. However, what the plant was on about DID seem plausible. Why would siblings dress alike-- oh, naturally. Tradition. She almost snickered into her punch.
Hazel eyes shot up when William's voice stopped and her eyebrows drew together, "Leave him alone you... you..." Okay, she had no word to insult the plant, but took a step forward anyway prepared to defend William again if the need arose. Even against a plant. But when she realized William was addressing her her thoughts of the rude plant quickly disappeared and she shuffled after the eagle. "Er... right." The girl shot a glare at the plant, before sitting her cup down, and offered William her full attention.
He had said her name, after all.
Only... upon realizing that William seemed a bit hesitant to continue she wondered if she was better on going toe-to-toe with a plant than preparing for his next comment. In fact, even though it was a question and NOT a comment, it still caught the brunette off guard. Or, maybe it wasn't the question. Maybe it was the mention of Trey. OKAY, it WAS the mention of Trey. Trey whom she had not thought about once since the night had started. Her face felt hot. Her hand twitched. She quickly picked her cup of punch back up, refilled it, and took a long drink of it, "... because it changed him." She answered softly, turning so her bum leant against the table and she was facing the plant again.
The girl ignored the plant as previously instructed, and though she was staring AT it it was really more like she was staring THROUGH it. Scratching at the rim of her cup with her index finger, she lowered her eyes to the liquid in it, and sighed. "He's not my Peter Pan anymore." Character Model: Christina Ricci. SHE'S MIIINE.
