Rosalie was busy in the kitchen, cooking dinner for her roommates. She just recently moved in and was intent on making a good impression on all of them. She was trying to make homemade pizza. She already had the dough rolled out on the counter next to the stove. She was just trying to prepare the tomatoes and waiting for the pepperoni to thaw from the freezer.
She was slicing the tomatoes to make a fresh tomato sauce, figuring slicing them first would make it easier to puree. She finished and started looking for a food mixer. She knew they had one she just couldn't figure out where. "Hum...Where is that dang thing..." She mumbled to herself as opened all the cabinets should could in reach, finding nothing. She looked up on top of the cabinets to find there it was, just out of reach.
She bit her lip cautiously and looked around. Nobody's home yet. Good. She took a deep breath and looked up at it, she slowly floated off the ground and she quickly grabbed the food mixer and floated back down. She smiled satisfied with herself. "Now I can finish." She said to herself happy.

[W] Language
Today was a day from hell since he was off all day in a meeting with his new anonymous boss of Caliga. Secret organization of people gathering for the same future cause and the cause was something Dean supported. He hated tainted, really he did, they were nothing but a throne in his side. All in school they tormented him until the day he got his power and lashed out at them. Since that day he has grown more aware of how afraid the untainted were of his special ability. Especially how dangerous it was to piss him off so he just did not have the torment anymore, thank god. Only thing that changed it was his sister which he wish she would curl up and die already, bitch. Good thing in his life was that he was in this new town and hardly no one new him. Also the fact he taken in the advice of a friend in getting some room mates to not be such a grump. Lucky him, they were all females which he did not and does not mind sharing his place.
Even though an asshole he is a little modest for his own good and is a gentleman regardless. Any flash of towels or anything less then appropriate clothing he shuns the other way or goes into his room. Either way he tends to keep to himself anyways by staying in his own little world inside his room. Though once in a blue moon he will come out for dinner if they were inviting him or hanging out. At times he just is insecure about himself since he is a little older and also his appearance. Probably the main reason he was such an asshole to everyone because he didn't trust easily. Then again who knows, at least he was in a good mood today, since now he was on the way home to relax. His boss gave him an assignment, he didn't like it, but he would have to do it. Smoking a cigarette on the drive home he was thinking what to have for dinner.
Maybe he shall just order something then hang out in his room, nothing interesting for him to go do on this Friday evening. He was a little even more down in the dumps since Adelina had not spoken to him. They met that once then not again so he thought maybe he was truly scary and just needed to stay locked away. Or maybe he should wear that phantom of the opera mask to hide the scar. Didn't take him long to get home since his Boss lived not too far away in Marseille. Dean parked his crimson red corvette on the side of the road. Stepping out of the car he flicked his cigarette on the ground and put it out. Slamming his car door he locked it up with the car keys then he walked to the front of the house. He jingled his keys about to look for the house keys then he stopped at the front door. With the right key he unlocked the door and walked right inside.
After he was in he shut the door then locked it right behind him again since he was always about safety. Then again who would be so stupid to break into his place since he would literally burn the person alive. For a fairly cold day he was not wearing anything really but normal dark blue jeans, black tennis shoes and a black button up short sleeved shirt. Heat was in him, always radiating, so he was never really cold and if he did get cold he'd just raise his body temperature. Though he lowered it down right now since it was so warm inside, someone was cooking. He shoved his keys into his front pocket then he walked into the kitchen to see who was there. He had missed the whole her trying to get something off a tall counter and just saw her fumbling around with something else. He quietly walked inside the kitchen then he smiled slowly, this room mate he liked. She was cute, he couldn't help it, but he did keep his distance because no way she was in his league.
He cleared his throat to get her attention at first then he spoke up. "Hey Rosalie. How are you?" He said to make some small talk, he was going to say something else. But he would of looked dumb saying, 'Oh so your making dinner huh?' So he stuck with the other saying instead then moved over to the counter and leaned his backside against it. Crossed his arms across his chest then he turned his head to the side, left side showing, to look over what she was doing. His pale green eyes curious of what she was making. Kind of looked like it resembled a home made pizza which he kind was thinking to ordering that. He didn't and wasn't asking if it was for everyone in the house since he did not want to be rude at all. At the point he just thought since he was home, she was home, didn't know who else was home. That he would come in and have some small chat before he'd go into his dark cave for the evening.

Rosalie twitched when she heard keys jingling at the door. Oh phew. Someone's home, I wonder who... She thought to herself as she glanced over at the door. It was Dean. He walked over and she smiled at him. "Hello Dean, I'm doing good. I got home early and decided to make everyone dinner. Something familar I guess, how do you like your pizza?" She flashed another smile at him as she turned back to her work.
She slide the sliced tomatoes into the food mixer off the cutting board. She closed it and held her hand on top of the lid making sure it was sealed. She leaned forward looking for the puree button. After a moment she found it and pushed it. A loud buzzing noise sounded off the mixer, she watched carefully making sure it was well blended. She pushed the button to stop it and smiled with herself as she took the cap off. Basil, that's what I need.
She glanced at the cabinets trying to remember which one had all the seasonings in them. Oh screw it, I'll just try them all. She fumbled with them opening the first one, finding only plastic food storage containers. She opened the one next to it, only wine glasses. Wow we have a lot of wine glasses. She blinked a little stunned by it and closed the cabinet and opened the next one. It was the spice cabinet. She smiled with her success and started spinning the lazy susan that held the spices. Ginger, No. Pepper, Not yet at least I don't think. Salt...What the why is salt in here? She picked up the salt shaker and placed it on the counter. Paprika, No. Cloves, No... "Ugh! Don't we have any blasted basil in this place?!" She grumbled frustrated. She spinned it again and there read a small bottle reading 'Basil' "Ah ha!" She exclaims and grabs it shutting the cabinet.
She turns back to food mixer with the tomato slush in it. She dashes in a good amount of basil in mix and closes the container once again. She pushes a mix button and the machine comes to a buzzing life again. After a couple seconds she stops it, and takes the lid off. She lifts the mixing bowl off the machine and walks over to her dough, already flattened and waiting for it's flavor. She pours a delectable thin layer of tomato sauce on it. Smiling to herself satisfied she turns to Dean. "Do know where, or if we have any cheese for this pizza?" She smiles innocently. I still can't believe I forgot the cheese. She sighs putting the mixing bowl back on the machine.

Good he did not scare the ever living out of her and such when he came in, just came over to bother her. She seemed gradually pleased he did come over to say Hello and he was trying to get accustomed to it. After all he lived alone for a good month or so before he was told maybe he should get out there a bit. Possibly, probably, meet someone of interest and possibly get out of his shell. Hell no, wasn't going to happen but hell he was happy to the fact of having people around. Alone was a little boring so he likes the busy bustle now and was happy with the upgrade. Before he had only a two bedroom and used the other room for storage but he cleaned it out. But when he got about three applications for the room he did not turn none of them down. Just upgraded to a four bedroom so that they can all stay for he didn't know the words No really, they were all sweet. Well that was the first impression he found out he really wants to drown his roomie Hayley since she is untainted.
"That's really nice of you. Um...I don't know how to make a home made meal even if my life depended on it." He remarked when she said she was making dinner for everyone and so that answered his question. No ordering dinner out tonight he was getting a meal which this was another good point of having females around. "Oh I'm not particularly picky at all." He added onto his words since she asked him his preference. Pizza was pizza to him which he loved it any style, except anchovies but he doubted she would use. He watched her go about her work and making the sauce from scratch. Everything was from scratch which he rose one eyebrow since he thought it interesting. Never had he had completely home made pizza before which it all seemed like it would be good. As she went to fumble around the kitchen he smirked off then returned his eyebrow back to normal. He stood there leaned against the counter still then he bite down on his bottom lip went into the zone for a moment.
Not really good with words, he never was really, actually that is a lie he used to be a bartender. But since his whole ordeal with his girlfriend turned to fiancee turned to a whore cheater he wasn't good with words anymore. Especially since the years droned on and he woke from his coma only about a year and some months ago. Shaking his head from his random thoughts he uncrossed his arms from across his chest. His green gaze flickered to her direction as she exclaimed something. 'Ah ha!' He was going to tell her the basil should be in there, he didn't touch it. Yeah he had a lot of random spices since he did listen to the girls requests. Times he did the shopping or they did which he was glad it was all mutual. Dean couldn't cook at all so mostly that was the benefit that if he shopped and got the food they would make it. Seeing she had everything under control he was just going to leave the kitchen but she asked him something. He thought for a moment then he leaned off the counter to go over to the fridge to take a gander of what she asked for.
He bend down to the ground then pulled open the drawer where the cheese would be then he pulled out two types. Not sure what she was going to use he just grabbed the mozzarella and the cheddar. Clueless really, he just grabbed those two unopened blocks then shut the drawer. Standing up then shutting the fridge he lowered his body temperature in his hands to make sure he didn't melt nothing. A smile went on his face as he set the two blocks beside her workspace. "Mozzarella or chedder....either way we got both." He shrugged slowly then looked to see which one she was going to grab and then it hit him. Cheese grader, so he left the spot for a moment to go to the right cupboard the first time to get it. He didn't need to reach too far to grab it and shut the cupboard when finished. Walking back to her side he set the grader right next to her again then bite his bottom lip. "I can't really cook but I could..help if you need some." He offered since he was trying to be nice. If not he was going to just maybe kick back in the living room, have a smoke, watch some television.

"We could do a mix of it..." Rosalie responded pondering the thought. Which would be easier...hum...I guess Mozzarella. "Mozzarella would be just fine. Would you be a doll and grate it for me? I have to get the pepperoni ready. It should be done thawing now." She smiled at him walking over to the sink.
The once frozen pepperoni was sitting in a bowl of warm water, well it was warm before. She pulled it out of the water and placed it on the cutting board. "Knife." She thought out loud, trying to remember where she last placed her knife. She spotted it by the cutting board and reached over to get it. She rinsed it under the water and looked over at Dean. "Just grate it over that white bowl by the mixer." She smiled at him. Well isn't that sweet of him helping me out in the kitchen. She giggled to herself as she started to cut the pepperoni into slices. She cuts through it fast, being used to being her mother's cutter in the kitchen.
She pauses for a moment stepping back away from the counter, trying to remember what she has to do next. She quickly glances around the kitchen and her eyes fall on the oven. Right we have to cook it. She looks at the oven and sets the temperature to preheat it. "Alright then." Should I add onions and mushrooms? She shook her head. No, no. A simple pepperoni and cheese pizza will do. No more wearing myself out.
She leans back against the counter and glances over at Dean. "How rude am I, I didn't ask how were you." She giggled to herself. "Well how are you today Dean?" She asks smiling. Mm, I had a nice day I think. I think he did too, he seems to be a better mood than usual. She looked over at the nearest window, the sun was setting. A nice way to end a day, it was a good day.

"I suppose, I ain't the chief here." He said to her with a small shrug to his shoulders and looked at her debating. When she choose the white cheese he did not care he went grabbed the other one. Walked over to the fridge then put it away the cheddar cheese and that is when she did ask him for help. When he offered the help he was being half hearted about it since he wanted to sit down, watch TV. But no she did want some help which he regret opening his big mouth. "Yeah sure." He remarked to her in a nice tone of voice then he went over to the block. Took the grader, cheese then he looked over to the white bowl she told him about. He collected the tools he needed which he knew how to grade cheese, self explanatory and stuff. He went to his own little work space and began to open the packaged cheese with his bare hands. Careful of course not to turn up the heat and melt through the plastic and such. He didn't cut off a chunk like some other people would of done he just took the whole block and graded.
Was nothing exciting at all he just wanted to get this done and over with as quick, painless as possible. But still pretend to be as friendly about it as he could since it would be rude of him to be rude. Especially to his female room mates because he did not want them to just up and leave. Then he would have to pay that part of the rent then find another annoying new room mate. No he did not want to do that at all and was going to try to act like nothing was bothering him. Besides he was told by his other friend whom were friends he should be a hell of a lot nicer. Sucking his normal personality up he began to do as he was asked to do which he was glad his sister wasn't around. She would be keeling over with laughter seeing Dean being told like this. Oh how he wanted to burn an extra hole right through her body and leave her in some ditch somewhere. She was the reason he was the way he was or else he would still be the simple hot head but not asshole.
He shrugged off her words of if he wanted anything special on the pizza with the whole he did not really care. Since he didn't really mind what kind of toppings were on the pizza at all, no preference to him. Not sure what the other ladies liked at all so he was not going to speak up for them at all. Also for the fact that they were both not here at all, he didn't know much about them. Other then he did tolerate Bridgette and he did not really like Hayley too much. With his thoughts or day dreaming ripped away from him he looked over at Rosa when she asked him his day. Well asking how he was and such since he had not been there all day. "I'm fine. Had a long meeting at work but that was just about it. Boring business stuff." He remarked which was mostly the truth of the matter but he did not give the details it was not a real job. First rule of Caliga, tell no one you are a member and also tell nothing about Caliga to no one. He was fine with following the rules and he did not say much about work. "How has your day been?" He said making small talk, very small talk, he did not know really how to be social. But hell at least he was trying to make an effort with the whole thing.

"I had a good day." Rosalie flashed a smile at him. Quite a good day. She held the smile on her face, thinking about her day. After a moment's pause she shook herself out of thinking trance. She glanced over at Dean's bowl of cheese. "That's enough cheese, Thank you Dean." She took the bowl from him. She looked up at him and and idea popped into her head. She floated those few inches up to his face, since she was short and he was quite a bit taller and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you, go ahead and sit down. Dinner will be ready soon." She quietly said in his ear and floated back down, going straight back to work.
She placed the bowl of grated cheese down on the counter. The pizza dough was already rolled out and spun sitting on it's wooden board. She first grabbed the mixed mush of tomato sauce and started to pour it over the dough. She grabbed soup ladle from the utensil drawer, to smooth out the sauce of the dough carefully not to make it too thick or too thin. After being satisfied with it she placed the sauce down and grabbed a handful of cheese and started to sprinkle it over the sauce, trying make a nice even coating of cheese over the tomato sauce. One handful wasn't enough as she went to grab another handful, and sprinkled it over the pizza. She continued to her satisfaction. She picked up the cutting board of the sliced pepperoni and placed the slices randomly around the pizza, once all the slices were on the pizza she placed the pepperoni back on the counter. She looked around for oven mitts and grabbed them from the corner of the counter and placed them on. She picked up the wooden pizza board with one hand and opened the oven with other. Hot air, flashed in her face, dehydrating her skin. She quickly slid it inside and closed it. "There we go." She smirked satisfied with herself as she slipped off the oven mitts. "Just 20 minutes now till it's done I think." She said to Dean's general direction to notify him.
As she started to clean up the kitchen. She placed the unused cheese, pepperoni into plastic containers and stored in the fridge and freezer for another meal. She placed the dishes into the sink as she started to wipe the counter down of the mess. After cleaning the counters she went to do the dishes. Hand wiping them dry and placing them back into their respective places. Yet again she smirked satisfied with her work and quickly checked on the pizza. It was half way done now, the edges were started brown and the cheese was already melted.

Small talk, simply small talk, he was used to doing that since he was not really well with the ladies. Last girl he kissed she hasn't talk to him in weeks since that fine New Years Day, which was a long time ago. Guess she was disguised her first kiss of the year was him, some ugly old man with nasty scar on his face. He did not blame her for being afraid of him or something so he just left it alone. Did not call the poor girl since after all she would of spoken to him online already but she has been gone. Guess his mind was in alternative thoughts since he was grading the cheese a lot. But good thing he was not getting angry because then the cheese would of melted. At least Rosa had a good day, he was bored all day in the meeting, also did not like his plans for the evening. Sucked that he was going to have to work on Valentine's Day but hell what else did he have to really do. He woke up from his rambling thoughts when she said that he had graded enough cheese into the bowl and he looked over at her.
His eyes looked down to see he did fill the bowl and then wondered, what if he had not been paying a lot of attention cut himself. God that would of sucked and thank god she was paying attention. "Oh okay lost track of what I was doing. Welcome." He said since she was being so nice about everything he felt that he had to be nice to her. Gave her a normal smile then looked down at her with his green eyes peering then she did something unexpected. She floated up a little to reach his face then gave him a kiss on the cheek. Why the hell? He looked at her a little bewildered then he let a normal smile on his face out then he nodded. "Alright, if you need anything just call." He said, this time he did mean it since he was a little flustered right now. No one really shows him affection at all so he was a little stunned right now. He turned walked away to the living room then took out his pack of smokes on the walk then sat down on the couch.
His place, his rules, he warned the girls he smoked and also warned them about his powers. So when some of them said they had powers too he was more then pleased. He turned on the television with one hand then placed the smoke in his mouth with the other one. He slouched in the couch to get comfortable after nabbing the ash tray and setting it on the seat next to him. He lit the end of his smoke just with a snap of his fingers and small flame appeared. He extinguished the flames with another snap of his fingers then he slouched there watching television. He smoked away as he was watching random new channels just to get the information of weather. He needed to know if it was going to be a rainy day on Valentine's night or else his mission wouldn't work out. Between his drags he did ash out into the ashtray. Also wondered where the heck the other two room mates were and thought, hell they are going to miss out. As he was watching TV he heard her call to him that it would be 20 minutes then they could eat which he looked over.
"Sounds good though I am guessing it's just me and you tonight. Haven't heard anything from Bridgett or that other girl have you?" He knew Hayley's name but he was always mean to her all the time. Because she was untainted so he hated her guts but tolerated her around. Though he did wish he can just set her on fire and that be the end of that. He kept looking over at the kitchen area to see what she was doing but she was cleaning away or he would of told her to sit down near him. He did love living with female room mates since they were clean and also so nice to him. After a while he stopped sitting there on the couch turned off the television since he was thinking, he had better entertainment. He took the ashtray then moved to the small dining table located in the kitchen then took a seat. He smirked off at her, watched her with his eyes for a moment as she cleaned, then he began to actually talk. "So how are you liking the new living adjustments? Getting along with the other two roomies?" He was making, yet again, small talk since he wanted to actually talk. Flirting he knew was out of the question since come on, look at him, but small talks were alright. He knew how to do that and so he kept up with the friendly structure.

Rosalie quietly mummed an unrecognizable answer when he asked about their other room mates, in her honest opinion she didn't really know but was too distracted to give a straight answer. She looked up away from the oven and found Dean sitting at the kitchen table talking to her. She smiled and walked over taking a seat next to him, wiping her hands on the sides of her shirt. "Well, I'll be honest. I haven't seen those two all day." She attempted to smile innocently. "Quite frankly, I dunno but like..." She paused a moment, stopping herself some saying anything bad about them. "When you're not here, they like to fight over the remote a lot." She sighed folding her arms on the table. "It gets kinda loud but, I try to block it out." She smirks. "Though, I do love my room. It's nice and roomy and suits my needs just right." She smiled at him.
She took a glance over at the oven, squinting to look through the tiny window. The pizza was fine, it wasn't burnt. She sighed in relief, not wanting to get too distracted and completely forget about it. She turned her attention back to Dean. "I try not to be a bother, It must be so annoying living with just girls for you. Some guys I know like to just be all free and loose and get to do whatever they want. Like leaving the toilet seat up for example." She laughed thinking about it. "It's nice though, I used to make too much food back home and my mom would get annoyed at all the containers of left overs in our fridge with nobody to eat them." She smirked, "Now there's three other people who will eat my food. It's a rather nice thought knowing someone enjoys my cooking."
The oven alarm started to beep, signally that 20 minutes has been up. "Already?" She sighed reluctantly getting up. She walked into the kitchen and slipped on her oven mitts. She cracked open the oven door, as hot air stung her face. She turned away as she opened it fully, eying the pizza with the corner of her eye. She pulled it out and quickly placed it top of the stove. "Hot, hot!" She squealed quickly releasing the pan. She slipped off the oven mitts and placed them on the side of the counter. She turned back to Dean quietly laughing at herself. "Dinner is served." She managed to say through her chuckles.
She turned back to the cabinets and opened one of them containing the plates. She pulled two down and set them on the counter next to the plates. "I guess we should let it cool for a bit." She shrugged watching the heat waves being emitted by the pizza. "Dean, what do you wanna drink?" She called out to him as she walked towards to fridge opening it taking a look inside trying to see what they had to drink. She saw a jug of water, a carton of milk, another carton of orange juice, and a open bottle of red wine with a temporary cap on it. She shrugged, unable to decide. She figured she'd wait for what Dean wanting to drink and have the same.

Guess Rosalie has been home for some time since she said she has not seen the other two for some time. He didn't care much, good ridden to one of them, which he expected the other one to be busy or something. When she said something about the two girls fighting over the remote and being annoying, he laughed. He actually did laugh, that was funny, he nodded slowly then remarked. "Girls fight over everything. It's of their simple nature." He laughed a little more then he sat there smiled off then looked down at the table. He knew girls since he had been around them long enough. They were interesting yet difficult creatures but he prefer them as roomies any other day. His eyes looked at her as she sat there near him and she said she loved her room. He was glad since he was trying in his power to be a good room mate. His friends told him it should be good for him to open up a little instead of being in his little hole.
Then again he liked being alone, but there needed change, so he decided to stop being so alone. His eyes went looked down at his own hands that were on the table then she spoke so his eyes looked at her. She said something about him living with a bunch of girls which he did not mind, he shrugged. "I'd rather live with girls then guys. Girls are so much cleaner and neater, also less trouble." He laughed though when she mentioned the bathroom habits then he shook his head. "Darling, I was engaged for two years of my life to a woman. I learned proper educate back then about that stuff." He let out a small laugh again then he shook his head, oh man his crazy X-fiancee. God he was so young and so stupid to not see it coming in the end. But he went pushed the bad memory back his head which he shook his head a little. Something he did not want to remember and his eyes looked at her again when she began to talk.
He liked that she distracted him from his mind at the right moments, which he smiled off. He was being cheerful for once since he had not an excuse not to be cheerful around her. "Hell well I can't cook at all so, its nice having someone around who does like to, very grateful." He remarked since it was only the truth for he was a horrible cook unless it was a TV dinner, typical. The timer went off which he looked over at the oven and she shot up to go get the food out of the oven. He was about to offer taking it out for her but she got it and he kind of chuckled a little. "You know I could of gotten that for you without burning myself, should of asked." He then leaned a little in the chair then looked as she placed the pizza down then said dinner was ready. All he did was nod at her since he was not going to eat it yet since he wanted to wait for her. He can eat and drink things when hot but she wouldn't and couldn't do it.
So he was going to wait till the meal cooled off for the both of them to sit down and enjoy. "Water is just fine." He said since he didn't want to drink the wine he saw in the fridge. He was not much of a drinker since he stopped working as a bartender but he did like to drink. Today was not one of those days and he smiled slowly at her since she was being nice serving him. Though he didn't like being completely helpless since she was not his wife or girlfriend. So he gotten up then got water himself, set down a glass for her to get something to drink. He put his water on the table then went over to the hot pizza and cut it up into slices. He was trying to help out since he had been sitting there there whole time, might as well us his talent. He placed two steaming hot pieces on one place then two on the other, didn't burn him. Then he put the plates on the table and took his seat again took napkins from the napkin holder in the middle of the table. Wiped his hands off then he waited for her to come and join him, he didn't eat yet though.
