It was late. Rain was pouring down, soaking everything and anything. A young woman was running through the rain. She had a black sweater on with it's hood up, trying to find a dry place. She ran up the steps to the Church. She tried the doors to see if was open, and the door swung open. Quickly she went inside and closed the door behind her.
Looking around at the Church, would take your breath away. Riley looked around, amazed of its looks. It was so beautiful. Riley had never been to a place like this before. Well actually, she has never been in a church before. She slowly walked down the aisle, lightly thouching the phews. As she walked down the aisle, she left little puddles, because of her soaking clothes.
Riley soon reached the front and sat down. She felt uncomfortable, because she was soaked and everything was sticking to her skin. She put her hood down and her hair was wet, slowly becoming curls once more. She looked down at her black sweater and un zipped it, showing a light blue shirt, that was also soaked and showing her black bra. Riley ddn't think it would hurt, since no one was around, and if someone came she would zip it back up again.
Sitting there, Riley began to think about how the chruch works. She heard that people would come and pray for thanks or forgiveness, but Riley didn't have anything to say to be thankful for nor ask for forgiveness. She did have several questions though. She wondered if god ever does answer questions. If he shows any signs. Since she was there, it wouldn't hurt to try. Looking up at the cross, she began to speak. "Can you please tell me what happened before my accident. I want to remember everything and not just remember peices of it. I want to remember the whole thing." she said to no one, but there was a hint of her Irish accent as she spoke.

Late night he was running, yeah running bad idea in wet slippery weather, but he was running to the church. He was here a lot which he asked for the most ridiculous things in this world. Also he was wearing the most odd thing in the world which was a bright yellow shiny plastic rain trench coat. He was wearing matching shoes with it which he didn't care if people stared, he rather be dry then wet. As soon as he ran inside the church he took the hood off his head. Someone was in there but he did not really mind he went to his place in the back then took off his jacket. He set it down. Under his yellow jacket he was wearing tight dark blue jeans, red long sleeved turtle neck with a normal black fake leather jacket over it. His bright yellow shoes did not match but he did not care he was in a hurry.
Sitting down he clasped his hands together. He did know there was someone there which he took the seat near her since, he didn't want to feel alone. He then began to asking for things out loud which surely would get some peoples attention for what he was asking. "I'm sorry but it is me again which I have more confesses or more forgiveness to ask. Please forgive Jamesey for killing that innocent mousey that was in the attic just trying to look for food. Please forgive Joshey for being a big jerk and eating that grounded up cow in front of me. Please forgive Lanaey for putting on make up that was more then likely tested on animals. Forgive Skyies for buying a belt that was made from leather just because she thought it was cute." He went sniffled, clearly getting a little upset, he was a true activist.
"Please forgive that woman in the shop who called me a creep because I squealed to her about having an egg croissant sandwich. Oh most importantly forgive me for accidentally stepping on that poor innocent snail that was going across the pathway as I ran here. I didn't see it and I swear I never meant to hurt it!" He sniffled a little more then went took a deep breath to calm down. He kept his eyes shut which he was going to go on but then he heard the female talk since really he wasn't saying this all so loudly. He was saying it in a kind of whisper to where she would be able to hear him. But not so it echoed throughout the empty church and disturb the hidden priests. When he heard her speak up a little his eyes opened and he looked at the soaked girl.
His head tilted to the side which he looked around slowly seeing no one but them two in there. He bite down on his bottom lip then decided why not so he got up. He nabbed his jacket then went right over to where she was sitting which he sat down next to her. He put his jacket to the side of him then he smiled friendly to her then he looked down at his hands. But soon back to her which he said something dumb and maybe he should of stated an ice breaker better. "Couldn't help to notice your all wet." He remarked, dumb Ronnie dumb, he mentally slapped himself in the head since he was so not good with women really. Quickly he spoke up again then to make a better ice breaker. "I mean, you okay? Having a rough night?" He asked her in a nice tone of voice and then he let out a warm smile. He hoped he was helping out or something since she seemed like she was in a damp mood.

The church was very quiet. Riley was the only one there, or well that was what she thought. She had a feeling that she wasn't alone, but she couldn't see anyone. That soon changed when someone walked into the church. Riley didn't look around to see who it was. She just sat there looking up at the cross. The church spooked her, but yet it was comforting at the same time.
The person that entered the church sat down near her. She was surprised how close the person was, but didn't say anything to them. Soon she heard a voice and realized that it was the stranger. He was asking God to forgive people that he knew or met. Riley didn't know that you can ask for forgiveness for others, but she was still learning.
Riley listened to him as he spoke and couldn't help but smile at what he was asking. From what she could hear, he was an animal activist, and a very committed one too. She has never heard such committment before from anyone, and she admired him for that. Riley had eventually began to speak, and the man stoped asking for forgiveness.
The man sat down beside her, placing a bright yellow jacket on the seat. She watched him as he looked down at his hands and then back at her. He seemed shy and unsure of what to say. He then said that he couldn't help but noticed that she was wet. She let out a small laugh. "Yeah, I think that happens when you get caught in the rain." she said to him with a smile. He then quickly asked if she was alright and giving her a warm smile. "I'm fine, just trying out a different tactic on getting answers." she said to him with a smile, her Irish accent heard in a few words. She looked him over a bit. "I see you managed to stay dry." she said with a smile.

All Ronnie knew was that the people he had asked for forgiveness for were not going to ask for the same as him. Animals were living spirits too and which everyone needed to respect them for they are here too. Life is short enough and there is no such need to shorten it a little more just for some innocent cow to be a burger. After he asked for all this he was going to continue but he heard the other person speak. Lost and confused came to his mind which he looked around seeing no one else. Which he why he took it to himself to get himself up then he walked over to where she was sitting exactly. With a gingerly smile on his face he sat down near her and was not shy. He was not the shy type at all he was just wary she was some axe murderer.
Would she pull out a knife and shank him right there, he didn't want to think about it, she seemed nice. He put a smile on his face then said something stupid and obvious. Oh how he mentally slapped himself for that one then went quickly started over again then he smiled some more. At least she did laugh to what he said to her which he was happy that humor was in her blood. How he did hate serious people in this world and for life was fun. Well it was meant to be fun and people were meant to be themselves no matter whom they are and such. Which is why Ronnie is so active with his goals in spreading the peace around the world and such. Poor animals, they had to suffer people some people did not know the words peace. He laughed this time but not because of what he said but what she said was even better.
Now she did have a sense of humor which he liked that already and knew that they would get along. He did also notice something else about her besides she was being all wet, her clothing. They were all matted to her which her bra was showing through her shirt, he gawked. Shaking his head he pulled to a smile then shut his eyes looked up to her face then kept the warm smile. "Ah...asking the big guns upstairs eh? Well he should have all the answers but of course he won't ever tell you. He wants everyone to find their own pathways in their lives and grow up on their own. Annoying huh? But heck I think it's awesome because if someone literally told us all the answers in the world then we be pretty lazy. At least that is what I think!" He remarked to her then he bite down on his bottom lip then he looked at the cross for a moment.
With a solid sigh he smiled since this place was so peaceful and he'd come here just about three times a day. He was a strange kid sometimes and did not know what to do with his life neither. Her voice caught him away from the staring and he smiled looked at her then nodded. "Yessum! I got a rain coat. The plastic kind. I don't care if I look like a fisherman! It keeps me dry from the rain. Hehehe." He remarked, no he was not yelling, he was just hyper with some of his words. "I'm Ronnie. Ronnie D'Agusta and you are?" He said, oh this was his chance, he stuck out his hand then he smiled his normal smile. Maybe a little mischievous since this was the only way he could use his power and also this is how he snuck his power into there. He would see how the girl felt inside and also sense if she had a power too.

The man had sat down beside her, which was something Riley didn't mind, but she was a bit afraid. She likes people and having friends, but she never really had a friend and people didn't really like her. Most people were mean to her, well that was what it was like back where she use to live. Riley was still getting use to the new area, trying to meet people and starting a new life. Riley looked the man over. He was quite cute and had a nice smile. He seemed quite friendly, but she hoped he wasn't too friendly.
After his comment, Riley couldn't help but smile and watch him. He seemed to regret what he had said, but he seemed to be relived with her comment, by laughing. She smiled at him. Riley looked back up at the cross, she could sence him looking at her, but didn't bother. As long as he wasn't planing something, like killing her, than she was fine. He then began to talk about God and that he has all the answers, but prefers for everyone to find the answers on their own. Riley let out a disappointed sigh. She was hoping that praying to Him would help her, but she guessed He might not. "Yeah, I could understand about having to work towards things and trying to find things out on your own, but I'm getting tired of that. Also I wished he could help me in a way." she said, mostly to herself.
Riley had commented on him about him managing to stay dry. He seemed to be hyper or at least have quite a bit of energy. She smiled at him as he said that he wore a plastic raincoat and doesn't care if it made him look like a fisherman. "Hey, it makes you look more manly, also smart." she told him with a smile. Riley was enjoying his company and was glad that he came up to talk to her.
The man decided to introduce himself. Ronnie D'Agusta. She'll have to try very hard to remember his name. She hated when she met someone and the next day she runs into them again, but can't remember them. It was always embarassing. That's why she got into the habit about keeping a diary, to help her remember things. "Nice to meet you Ronnie. I'm Riley Fletcher." she said to him. She noticed him putting his hand out towards her, and she shook his hand. She was relaxing around him, and wasn't afraid that he may try something, but just incase, she still kept on guard.

Well so far things were going alright since he came along then broke the ice since they were the only two in church. Now Ronnie was religious but he was not the overly religious type he mainly asked for silly things. Never anything for himself always about the animals, environment and also his loving family. Though most of his family were rude to him he did not care he loved them all the same. Thank god she was not too serious when he said some cheesy remark at first. With the smile now on his face he kept his hands to himself and just tried to make some small talk, very small. He told her that she was in the right place to ask for help but he will make it complicated. God was never the kind to just tell you the answers right away, he is lazy now a days. Back in the Moses days then you might of been more lucky to find the answers but not now.
Ah well it was understandable since there was so many peoples around on the earth. In fact he hated it since more environment was being tore down and such. "Well just because he does not give you the straight answer does not mean he does not give you an answer. He shall make you figure it out with a hint or a clue." He remarked then smiled to her and looked down to his hands again. Soon he warmed up to his normal friendly unshy self then looked at her began to talk about his clothing. Yeah he looked funny but hell did it keep him dry and out of the rain. When she said he looked manly and smart he actually did something that was not manly. He looked at her then he giggled, yes giggled, he was so tickled she said that to him. "Oh really?" He went giggled a little again then he shook his head since that was silly.
"Thank you." He did not bother her about her looks since her she was soaking wet and stuff. Did not want to make her feel embarrassed her clothes were sticking to her skin. Also some parts a little transparent, he did not gawk really anymore, he just got over it. He was good at pretending he was not even interested at all which maybe that is why people might think he is gay. Never really checks out or looks at girls too much he just looks at them normal then has some elaborate conversation with them. Like he was one of their bestest best friends in the whole world. So he was in his main friendly streak now put his hand out then said his name to her. She said it was nice to met him also said his name as like she was trying to etch it in her brain. Then she said her name which was so pretty and he smiled widely then he pushed his hand out more.
"Ah well that is a very beautiful name! Such a pleasure to come and pester you, Riley." He waited for her hand which she did take his hand in her hand. That is when he used his power, on purpose, he liked to do this and did not say a word to the victim. Though his powers were not much all he got was a flood of emotions the person was feeling at the time, hint of her power too. Confusion was all he was getting and also she was tainted with something but he could not pin point it. The emotion was covering it up and he sighed a little. Pulling his hand away from her he smiled slowly then he tilted his head to the side. "Something is troubling you." He remarked in hopes she shall be the typical girl and flood it out to him. He would be glad to listen in fact he shall gossip and gab about it, give advice, just like a girl. Ronnie always liked to be there for everyone and anyone even if the person was a complete stranger.
