Masinori wondered if Izar had any idea what he was feeling emotionally at that time. He smirked slightly at his defensiveness, but was glad to have the blade out of his face. “What’s wrong with you two?!” Masinori looked at him impassively, having naturally reverted to his old mannerisms being around now almost strangers. He gave the slightest scoff at his words. What do I care of her heart? He thought, looking into Izar’s eyes. He’d just rescued her, and had been concerned, but he didn’t know how to account for that. Didn’t he dislike the girl? Well of course. But maybe he didn’t want her to die. She was the cause of a lot of his problems, but she probably didn’t deserve death. He stared blankly as Izar told Hotaru he hoped that she and the baby were alright. He decided he wanted to be out of there, and wanted Izar to comfort him and make sure that he was alright.
Finally Izar came over to him, resting a hand on his shoulder and the other on his arm, and glancing up at him. Masinori’s face was frozen. It felt like he was holding him back more than anything else. They were scooted from the room before anything else could be said. Masinori didn’t know much about the so called “Brother’s”, and for some reason he held himself back from judging Aoi’s involvement with gangsters. Well no, he definitely judged him, he just didn’t say anything or betray what he was thinking. Which was more or less, what an idiot. He confusedly explained their situation and how they’d gotten there, and asked for Masinori’s help. His lip may’ve curled in distaste, but that was about it. “Of course.” He said simply. He was obligated to, they were family. He may’ve hated them, but it was utterly dishonorable to turn away your own flesh and blood.
“That is up to the doctor’s, I’m sure waiting just a while longer so that she can rest would be a wise decision.” He looked at Izar who was plastered to the wall. He had noticed as soon as they came outside that he looked uneasy, “Let’s get inside already.” He said, turning on his heels and heading in. He didn’t want to prolong his agony, and anyway they had to tell the doctors the good news that they wanted to high tail it out of there. “We live near Marseille but are visiting with Izar’s family. I could use a ride back there before returning home.” He said I, not we, because he assumed Izar would fly…or maybe not if it kept raining. “What do you think Iz? Should we send them ahead of us or cut our visit with your family short?” He asked, face firm as stone still, voice even.

The stranger with Aoi’s old friend seemed surprised to find that Hotaru was his sister, but it was in such a way that he seemed familiar with her existence. He seemingly lost his temper too when he drew his katana. But all Aoi was doing was defending himself against his temperamental friend. Giving him a bit of a warning to calm himself down. He sighed. I am trying to do that. He thought to himself as he withdrew his weapon. Izar had pushed Masinori aside protectively. This was the first time Aoi wondered who was more of the man in the relationship so to speak. As for the tiff that had just occurred, the doctor was sufficiently freaked out too. “I really hope that you and your little one are alright.” Izar said to Hotaru. He hoped so as well and was very relieved when the doctor confirmed it. That child was his, and he would love it, even if he didn’t love it’s mother romantically.
He felt a mild pang of jealousy at seeing Izar go up so casually to Masinori and put his hand on his arm. He didn’t let it show though and told himself he’d need to put aside any of those kinds of feelings. What did he expect to find when they met him? What did he expect could’ve happened. Nothing. Honestly, he knew they were going to him for help and friendship. It was just difficult at first to see someone that you were once so close to and remember that you weren’t anymore. And now someone else was. They had been such close friends. Their bond seemed unbreakable. But clearly Masinori despised him now. Izar declined the cigarette, and Masinori happily accepted. It was a start. “You’ll do well to silence yourself about whatever this power is, people don’t exactly treat change kindly.” Aoi held his cigarette out at his shoulder and quirked a brow at the shorter man. For someone so chibi he sure seemed to think he was big. And maybe he could handle himself in a fight, but he didn’t know who he was dealing with at all. He bit his tongue.
“I doubt they’d understand my feeble attempts at English.” He said good naturedly, despite his inward feelings being the opposite. “Ne? Brother’s Grimy? Is that what they were? We were just minding our own business. I thought they were with the Yakuza.” He lowered his voice noticeably. “But then that is not a possibility because they have no means of finding us in France. You see,” He began to explain now. “Hotaru-chan and I are on the run. I don’t wish to relay the depth of my regret for getting involved with what I was involved with in the past because that is over now. I only want my family to be safe. We have fled Japan to search for you, Masinori. We wanted help getting settled someplace new, to start over. You are the only person we have to turn to.” He spoke half in English and half in Japanese so that it was a little confusing to follow. “If you need the gory details, I will give them, but it would be useless. Help us or we’ll do our best alone.” He looked like the latter was not something he wished for though.
“We should get going soon. I am a little uneasy being so close to this place when Hotaru has been on the news. I hope her identity and photos have not gotten out. We have a car, it’s old, but it will get us back to where you live.” He threw his cigarette down and stepped on it once, quickly, then flipped his hair back out of his face, only to have it fall right back over his eyes. He nodded as Masinori lead them inside. Izar didn’t seem to enjoy the rain, pity. For he so loved it. He made another streak of lightning flash through in the distance as they reentered the emergency room to talk to the doctor. He thought it curious when Masinori said he needed a ride back to Izar’s, but seemingly left Izar out of it. Perhaps he could deduce what his power was before actually being told. For one, he now knew it involved using an alternative method of travel. He didn’t have to figure out what Masinori’s ability was, he was pretty sure he’d known all along.

((*shift eyes* yes... lol and we are amazing))
Izar glared mercilessly with his silver dagger eyes. He was so lucky Izar had no weapon on him at the moment. And what about Masinori he looked at him scolding but not harshly, he'd never seen him get so mad about something like that. He wasn't sure about the time he was in that weird underground fighting ring, he hadn't exactly been sane when that happened. It was all to frightening to think that he could have done something worse. He felt sick, he had taken the air out of that man's world, what if he had known he could have done that back then? If anything they should put their anger aside for Hotaru's sake. She'd been through a lot seeing them fight might have made her heart stop. He paused a deep feeling of regret in his own heart how had his own parent's felt about Henri and he fighting?
He rubbed his shoulder soothingly trying to get him to calm down. When they were outside Izar was leaning against the wall. Stupid water, damn rain. Rain, Rain go away, he thought in a sing song way. He looked up, apparently it didn't work. He looked up, it was very dangerous to be discussing tainted matters around people. They had no idea who these people were or what they had hidden in their bags. Izar shrugged, "You'd be surprised, people will surprise you with the amount of cruelty they can carry in their hearts and imagine in their minds." He shuttered thinking of all the psychos he's dealt with. Izar forgot about the rain for a moment and looked at him with confusion, "The Yakuza?" Thunder boomed and Izar winced slightly feeling a mist of rain. Izar smiled slightly, "Well, you've come to the right place, I happen to be with the Guild, and very good at what I do." He said slightly boastful.
Izar smiled and felt a wave of undying love for Masinori as he suggested that they go inside. He was the first on in only about point two second after it was suggested. He blew out a sigh of relief when he was in a safe dry place. Izar bit his lip, "Maybe that would be best, there might be a little to publicity around here and the rains not going to make it a pleasant trip, i guess I'll have to go with you in the... vehicle." He said the last word like it was poisoned. He glanced at Masinori for a moment, he still seemed very upset. Izar didn't blame him whatever this Aoi character had done it wasn't something that Masinori could easily forgive.
Izar's hand twitched at his hip almost like it was going to grab the handle of a blade. He glanced down remembering that Need had been left at the house. She would have down well to tell him if anything undesirable was going on. He extended his power and analyzed the people in the room. To people it would feel like a faint breeze was going through the room. He went to Masinori and leaned against him slightly and closed his eyes. "It's been a long day," he said wearily. Everything crazy had happened that could have possibly been packed into one day. Water, two psychos, family members and old friends appearing. It was enough to make anyone's brain explode.

“You'd be surprised,” The chibi pierced man spouted off. He just blinked at him, suppressing his facial expressions from twisting into a “what the fuck are you talking about” expression. "Well, you've come to the right place, I happen to be with the Guild, and very good at what I do." He seemed proud of himself and again found himself suppressing the urge to scoff at his pride. “Guild?” He breathed. They were an obvious enemy…but he had to remember he wasn’t with the Yakuza anymore, so perhaps they were an ally now. He sighed. Perhaps Izar was an ally now. Why was he being so harsh in his thoughts and judgment of him anyway? It was funny that after so long he could have a natural impulse to be protective over his old best friend. Even if that friend wanted to be 100 miles away from him. And so Izar was with the Guild. He briefly wondered which of them would win in a friendly fight.
“Exactly.” Aoi said, glancing around. He didn’t trust anyone in the room as far as he could throw them, present company excluded of course. “Do you dislike cars? Don’t worry, Iza-chan. I’m a good driver!” He said encouragingly and gave him a friendly pat on the back. He immediately approached the doctor, taking him aside for a moment to explain that they wanted to leave. The doctor nodded hesitantly and approached the other’s with Aoi. “This is very unorthodox you know, but because she’s stable and we don’t foresee any issues, we’ll allow it. But only on the condition that she gets lots of rest and doesn’t exert herself, and if there are any difficulties bring her somewhere immediately.” He was surprised himself at how easy it was.
The doctor left and returned several very long minutes later with a nurse and a wheelchair. The lady helped Hotaru sleepily into the chair, while the doctor good natured-ly gave her several warnings and instructions. Aoi realized he needed to get the car and bit his lower lip. How was he going to do this gracefully? It wasn’t something that was possible. He wracked his brain for a solution. Don’t let the nurse see what we came in. He’d have to be smooth. “Thank you.” He gave a slight bow to the nurse and took the handles of Hotaru’s wheelchair, then began slowly pushing her out of the room himself. The nurse looked a little taken aback, but to his immense relief, did not object. They went out the side door where the car was waiting, just on the edge of an awning so that they wouldn’t get wet. He didn’t say anything as he opened the door and began to help Hotaru into the front seat. The car didn’t exactly run. Well it did, but really poorly. Once she was settled, comfortable and reclined, he motioned for Izar and Masinori to get in. They were probably skeptical, but he pretended not to notice as he walked suavely to the driver’s side.
“You have got. To. Be. Kidding.“ Masinori said slowly, looking at him now. Aoi turned to look at him and blinked several times, batting his eyelashes in a way that said, just trust me, ok? It didn’t have the same effect as when he had mascara or fake eyelashes on. Come to think of it, he didn’t have any makeup on after all that chaos and was probably looking pretty haggard. He faced forward again and turned the key in the ignition, a wave of blue sparks danced over his hand and into the car, causing it to start where it would’ve just laughed at him otherwise. If cars could laugh that is. Instead it kicked to life like any car would. He adjusted his katana, put it in drive, and they were off. “That’s a bit of what I can do.” He said nonchalantly. He glanced over to Hotaru who was laying back and smiling. “Ogenki desu ka(How are you)?” He asked curiously smirking.
“We almost lost the baby.” She said solemnly, but quickly smiled again. “The doctor was a healer, so many of them are these days it seems. He couldn’t do much for my leg because everyone had already seen the damage, but he really helped the baby.” She said, gratitude apparent in her voice. Aoi shook his head. “Gomen…(I’m Sorry). I should’ve protected you better. What kind of husband am I if I can’t even keep you safe.” It was obvious how disappointed in himself he was, getting knocked out while she was chased like some kind of animal. He was such a capable fighter, and he had managed to get himself knocked out. “Not a very good one.” She giggled bluntly, not really referring to the incident at all, but no one else had to know that. “Nani!” He said with a mixture of surprise and exasperation. “You do your best, Aoi. That’s all you can do. And you do a lot. You know you kick ass.” She smiled and closed her eyes, looking forward to getting some sleep after such an exhausting day.
((So what do you think about Aoi so far huhhh?))

((I'm having mixed feelings I like him but he better not try to kidnap Masi *hiss* lol))
Izar nodded then paused, "Don't sneak away from that, who are the Yakuza?" He looked at Masinori for a moment as if by some chance he would know then looked back at Aoi. He wasn't going to let him dodge that question. He wondered if somehow the Yakuza would have some conflict with the Guild. That could possibly cause some trouble perhaps he could grab someone who he works with the ask them. He was extremely curious about them, were they like the guild, or were they like Calliga? It was making his head spin. HE looked at Masinori that was one thing he was certain of, if he threatened Masinori again or anyone threated him Izar wouldn't take mercy on them.
Izar nodded at his question. He smiled, "That's good, I'm trusting you." He said jokingly. Izar gulped slightly as he was patted on the back. Maybe he should get something to knock him out. There had to be something in this hospital. Izar looked at the doctor and watched the interaction. She was fine and able to leave. In his opinion she still didn't look to good. He would have preferred she had stayed but it wasn't up to him. He felt a breeze at his ear. He looked over and saw a shimmery shiny sylph. He smiled, "How did you get here?" he whispered inaudibly sending his words through the wind to her. "I got locked in," she replied. He smiled slightly she got in but didn't know how to get back out the door. He nodded and she rested on his shoulder.
He followed them back outside and looked at the car. He really hoped that it wasn't theirs but they walked right up to it. He gave Masinori a skeptical look. He hesitated as Hotaru got in then got in slowly feeling like he was in a box. Not only a box but one that hardly ran. He paused a moment as Masinori got in then got int himself. "Find a happy place," he said to himself then looked up into Masinori's eyes, "Found it," he said in a hushed voice to Masinori. He smiled, as long as Masinori was here he felt like he could face anything.
He looked over at Masinori apparently he shared his disbelief. Izar didn't miss the batting eyelashes of Aoi. He felt his eye twitched slightly as a flash of jealously went through him. He bit his lip scolding himself he needed to stop getting jealous of people. Izar jumped slightly when he started the car. Was that a spark?! His immediate reaction was to panic and throw himself from the car but he resisted. He slipped his hand into Masinori's hand and smiled slightly. He looked at Hotaru and listened to her deception of what had happened. Healer, a lot of doctors seemed to be healers lately it was nice to come in broken in pieces and know that there was someone with an ability to put you back together, like Ebenezer. Izar owned that man his life.
He winced at having almost lost the baby, that would have been hard on her. He shook his head and closed his eyes, pretending he wasn't in a rolling box. He blinked his eyes open and looked from the two it didn't seem like they likes each other all that much. He gave Masinori a questioning look. That was unkind of her, he had tried his best. He didn't know who to be more annoyed with, Hotaru or Aoi. Izar just sat back nd listened to their bickering. He didn't know if he could stand fighting with Masinori, he knew it was healthy to any relationship but he never wanted to fight with Masinori.

“Ah, sorry, I think by the way you said it he thought you knew. It’s just the Japanese Mafia. Well not just but you get the idea. They aren‘t an underground tainted organization plotting extermanation of a certain race or anything…they are just thugs and criminals.” He explained. Though how he’d gotten mixed up with them he had no idea. He always seemed like the passive aggressive sort. He thought bitterly. Aoi lightheartedly patted Iar on the back and told him he was a good driver. Masinori rolled his eyes. Izar wouldn’t trust his driving skills, he barely would get in the car with his father. He noticed Izar talking to the sylph, but didn’t say anything. He couldn’t see her anyway. He just sort of glanced from the white walls, to the doctor, to the white walls again. Hospitals were so monotonous.
Surprisingly they were allowed to leave with her. Very surprisingly. And furthermore, Aoi was allowed to just wheel her on out on his own. Can my life get any stranger? He thought to himself as the four of them left the hospital. It could. Masinori and Izar looked at each other after seeing what they were about to go home in. Their expressions were something like horror. They got in, tepidly. "Find a happy place," Izar said very quietly before looking into his eyes "Found it.” He had to smile at that, and it was probably for the first time in the last few hours. Masinori smoothed his unruly hair lovingly then looked at Aoi in the rearview mirror. “You have got. To. Be. Kidding.” He enunciated warningly. If this idiot kills us in this hunk of junk… Aoi turned and blinked at him, more or less playfully telling him to shut up. It made his blood boil for him to “playfully” anything. He just acted like nothing, like there was never a rift in their friendship at all.
Masinori was certain the car wouldn’t start. And he was half right. It definitely wouldn’t have started on it’s own, but something helped it. “That’s a bit of what I can do.” Aoi said after his hand had emitted sparks and kick started the “car”…if you could call it that. It had startled Izar, and they were now holding hands due to his surprise probably. “Electrokinesis?” Masinori asked rhetorically. So that was how he dealt with the cameras. Hotaru and Aoi talked tensely in Japanese. Masinori wasn’t very shocked at the new of the baby. Not with that kind of stress and injury. Thank God for healers. If they had lost the baby this mess would’ve all been for nothing. He would’ve had to leave Japan for no good reason, and he couldn’t go back because the mafia would be after him now. He momentarily wondered what Hotaru meant by her off comment about him not being a very good husband, but shrugged it off. What did he care anyway.
“Ne, Hotaru, still a tiny insignificant firefly trying to light up a big dark world. Your enthusiasm never fails you even when the situation is hopeless.” He said to his sister. It was the first intimate or conversational thing he’d really said to her. She turned slightly to look at him, resting her hand under her chin and blinking calmly without a word. “Big brother. What can I say to you now? You know me so well and yet I feel like you’re a stranger.” She paused and continued looking at him, as though she were trying to work something out. “Everything will recover in time.” She said and turned around to fall asleep. “Poor Izar, Aoi really is a good driver, you are safe.” She said, seeming to sense his nerves. She was behaving somewhat peculiar, probably due to the meds. Masinori made Izar to rest his head on his shoulder. He slowly ran his fingers through his hair to try and calm him down. Knowing he wouldn’t be able to sleep, he tried something out.
He closed his eyes, falling into his dream trance, and reached out for Izar’s mind. The place they always met. He was awake, but if he pushed he could at least make him drowsy. After a few moments he came to and continued petting Izar’s head. His breathing seemed more serene. If he wasn’t asleep, certainly he was relaxed. Masinori could direct Aoi the rest of the way. It was strange, now perhaps it was just the two of them in the uncomfortable silence of the death mobile.“Ne, Nori-chan? How long have you been together with him?“ Aoi asked, and Masinori frustrated-ly made a shushing face at him. “Shichi.” He whispered. “Years?!” Aoi exclaimed. “Iie, months!” Masinori whisper-yelled, his annoyance level ever increasing. “Oh, it seems like much longer.” He said. “How long have you been with my sister?” He asked, not really all that interested. “Since you left…” He said, and stopped talking after that, like he didn’t really want to talk about it now that the subject was turned on him.
((Aww no, he’s not trying to steal Masinori at all, he’s just dealing with seeing him again and wants to patch up their friendship…and he’s only batting his eyelashes because he’s so lovely ^.^ haha. Besides, when Izar calls Masinori over to meet Az (haha yeah I‘m reading your guys‘ rp), Aoi will come too and be totally lovestruck. OH! P.S. I started a new post on the dead what if site majigger.))

((lol Yeah, come on into that thread. XDXD Oh yeah I saw I was kind of lost there for a while lol sorry! lol Aoi and Az XD))
Izar nodded, "Oh, that makes sense." He heaved a sigh of relief at least it wasn't another underground tainted or anti-tainted league. Izar wondered how he had gotten mixed up with these Yakuza characters but he didn't like it. There were few people he'd take care of for free. He didn't like what he did and only if they hurt him personally did he go after them on his own or if he comes across them like he had with Hotaru. Other than that he liked to get paid for what he did. Though if Aoi was Masinori's friend Izar would pull some strings. He was sure that if need be these people had hurt more than just Aoi and Hotaru. Izar shook his head it was too soon to even start thinking about that, and besides like the guild said, he couldn't live in fear.
Izar looked at the car like it was a death sentence. He didn't like cars, they were confining and he felt trapped, he wasn't sure when he started not to like them. He'd never been in an accident, just out of the blue he started to hate cars. He smiled glad that he could still make Masinori smile, he seemed so stressed ever since he had found out that his sister was the one the brothers were after. Izar didn't like the look of this car even more than any other car, it was the kind of thing that you see in a junkyard ready to be crushed for scrap metal. He took deep breaths and willed himself to be calm. It wasn't working the slightly jerky motions were making the hairs on his arms stand up and a million pictures of twisted metal show in his head.
He glanced at Masinori, he knew a lot of the powers. Izar knew the basics and then a few others by people he knew. That dealt with electricity didn't it? He searched his brain to match the name to the power. Electrokinesis. Electricity, So he could control electricity and possibly lightning. The rain battered the car window and Izar sat closer to Masinori to get away from it. Why did the world hate him so, yeah he had a big fight to pick with karma when he found it. Hotaru mixed her insult with a compliment maybe to take the sting out, bit ti was still harsh. Aoi was probably already feeling badly because he couldn't protect her and they almost lost the baby.
Izar smiled at Masinori's comment, "There needs to be some positive thinkers in this world." He said with a soft smile, "Or else we'd all just give up and let the world rot." He shrugged feeling badly about mixing the positive comment with the negative direction of which he believed the world was going. Izar snorted and half laughed, "That makes me feel so much better," he said immediately regretting the sarcasm in his voice, "Thanks though." He added just for good measure. Izar didn't object when Masinori pulled him closer and let him rest his head on his shoulder. He closed his eyes feeling protected as Masinori ran his hand through his hair. He was still nervous but somehow Masinori was making him feel better.
Izar didn't know what was happening but he was beginning to feel sleepy. It was odd he felt like he was floating, not like he was used to, there was no pressure, no air, just floating. It felt nice he felt himself slipping against his will. His eyelids wouldn't listen to him and he dozed slightly his breath calm only aware of Masinori and his hand stroking his hair. Izar fell into an odd kin of sleep his mind regaining consciousness randomly then falling back into unconsciousness. His eyes fluttered slightly but closed again when he heard the word "Years." He tried to think it over but his mind wouldn't listen. He fell back into a sleepy state. He was running up stairs following the call of something. He came back to consciousness and relaxed not really sleeping again but dozing again his eyes closed but his mind wide awake but relaxed. He wondered how much further it would be to his parent's house.

((That is my hope ^.^ I’m trying to think of a good nickname for Aoi to call Az…I don’t know if you noticed but I’m nickname crazy @.@ haha))
Masinori guessed what his ability was right off the bat. It didn’t come to much of a surprise after all, if he remembered correctly Masinori shared his love of manga and knew all about super heroes and the super natural. “Ne, Hotaru, still a tiny insignificant firefly trying to light up a big dark world.” His words weren’t meant to be cruel or anything, but they came sort of out of nowhere. So did Hotaru’s response, but he agreed with the both of them. Poor Nori-chan. He’s always put so much into people only to be slighted in return… She even commented on Izar’s nervousness at being in the car, which Aoi himself hadn’t even noticed. Sometimes he swore she could tell what people were thinking. Perhaps her insightfulness was genetic. The two men in the back seat seemed to relax, Izar may’ve even fallen asleep. “Ne, Nori-chan? How long have you been together with him?” He asked, and thought at first he’d said seven years. It did seem like they were always together, but maybe not for that long. Definitely longer than seven months though.
His next question caught him off guard. “How long have you been with my sister?” The question itself made him wince. It sounded somehow harsh put that way. “Since you left…” And he became very quiet after that for the duration of the drive back to Izar’s parents house, only nodding in agreement when Masinori directed him. He thought back to the time when Masinori had first left his life. It started with Aoi ignoring him at school. Maybe it seemed abrupt to most people, but there had been an awkwardness in the air around them for a while. It was ok though because he was still around and he could tell himself that they’d talk about it and resolve things sooner or later. But then strange signs of his ability started coming up and he decided to search for his parents in Tokyo. When he returned, katana at his side, Masinori was already gone. He’d heard what happened to him and went looking for him at his parents house, but no one knew where he went.
After that he frequently went back and forth from Osaka to Tokyo. His only friend at that time was Hotaru. They first met when he was looking for the girl’s brother. She seemed very understanding of his unspoken suffering and became his companion, and soon they were in a sort of relationship. He wasn’t sure if the fact that she reminded him of Masinori had anything to do with it, but they were close. Truthfully, it was a marriage of convenience, though what did he bring to the table? Indeed he needed her; to give him strength, to confide in. It was like Izar said, she was a positive force. And she needed him too…though he never had any idea what she could’ve possibly needed from him and wondered if he’d ever know. Before long they pulled into the driveway of an average looking French home. Aoi’s mind was working overtime…Who were the brother’s and did they pose any kind of long term threat? What other nightmares were in store for them? Masinori mentioned briefly the extermination of certain races and underground organizations. He was escaping the Yakuza, but what was he fleeing too? A million questions rushed through Aoi’s head as he watched Masinori gently wake his boyfriend up from his light sleep. Last of these he wondered what it was like to be in love.

It took a lot of willpower for Masinori to stay alert during the car ride home. For one, he was afraid the vehicle would explode or break down at any moment. And secondly, he did have to direct Aoi. The blonde haired man was dazed as he drove, and still caked with dirt. He hoped he wasn’t about to fall asleep at the wheel. All of the other sleeping bodies in the car did make the idea seem inviting. “Take this highway.” He whispered. Izar shifted slightly when he spoke. He was amazed at the fact that what he did actually worked and marveled at the possibilities. He’d actually pulled Izar from reality into himself. Of course his intention was to calm him so he could sleep through most of the car ride, but he wondered what else he could do. If he could pull anyone into their own head, at any point in time, whenever he felt like it…he could exercise power over them, twist their world into whatever he wanted. In a sense he could create an illusion like Odille. Paralyze them with fear or mesmerize them with joy. Maybe the person would even think they were awake, would have no idea what was going on. It was the first time he saw that his ability may have a defensive facet. Instead of being passive, only helping to create pretty visions or find out useful, or mostly useless, information. Maybe he could actually do something with it. The idea was exciting to say the least.
“Turn down here and make a left at the stop light.” Aoi nodded. “And another left.” Down a smaller side street lined with street lights. It was dark out and faintly drizzling and when they pulled into the driveway and let the car turn off (It sort of did it of it’s own accord) the windshield was quickly covered in a thousand tiny water droplets that lit up orange from the artificial light. It was that car’s last hoorah and would not be accompanying them back to Sanglinee. “Izar Draquia.” Masinori quietly cooed to the lazy form beside him. “And here I thought you’d be anxious to get out of the car.” He joked, gently stroking his cheek to encourage him to sit up. He turned to see Aoi’s intent gaze, but he quickly turned away and pretended to fiddle with the keys. Hotaru woke up on her own, stretching cheerfully. They got out and Aoi went into the trunk for his and Hotaru’s bags. “Are your parents going to be alright with them staying? They can just have the living room, right? They wont be upset will they?” Masinori whispered quietly to Izar while the couple were gathering their belongings. “And we can head back tomorrow and get them settled I guess…”

((Sorry it's taken me a long time things have been super hectic here meh!))
Izar was shocked that despite his fear he was sleeping contently. Maybe that was his way of coping with it. His mind was coming in and out as if fighting the sleep was something that was necessary. He was relaxed he didn't care he actually wanted to sleep. Masinori being next to him and holding him made the whole experience bearable. Just being with him made his heart content. Izar blinked slightly loosing the trance but staying relaxed anyways. He shifted slightly then closed his eyes and was sleeping soundly again. There were so many people all talking at once. He felt closed in and there was a large open window all the way across the room.
He struggled through the group to the window leaning out of it. He gasped there was no ground there and it was rising ever higher into the air. He felt something touch his cheek and he opened his eyes still in a slight daze. He looked over at Masinori and smiled sitting up and letting his head get reoriented. Izar smiled faintly at Masinori's joke and climbed out of the car and into the drizzle. He shoot to the door and stood under the awning away from the rain. Izar looked at Masinori, "I really hope so." He said looking at the two, "Let me go in first and talk to them," he said and opened the door leaving it open so that the door shed some light outside. He walked into the living room and was encased in a hug.
"Is she alright?" Asked his mother and he nodded, "Here's your hat." He pulled it out and handed it back. "Well I've got god news and bad news." He said pausing for a moment. "Well?" His father persisted and Henri sat up curious. "Well, good news is that the girl is alright and she is Masinori's sister. Good news also is that we found her husband. Bad news is that they have no where to stay..." "Izar Draquia... you didn't..." He nodded and closed his eyes. "It'll only be for tonight, Masinori and I are taking them back with us." "You're leaving already?" She asked having a immediate change of heart. He nodded, "I call more, I promise." He smiled then went out to Masinori. "It's alright with them. This has been such a long day." He said and he slumped against Masinori.
