open to anyone really
Have you ever had one of those undying cravings that obsesses over your thoughts for countless days? Though Jessica had the money to fulfill her coffee craving she just never had the time till this morning. Every other day from dawn till dusk Jessica was either working her little butt off, or renovating her new apartment. Which she was still wasn't done with even though school was starting up again and she'd literally have no time to finish her kitchen and living room. But she decided to set aside this day, just to get some damn coffee.
Of course Jessica had a coffee maker in her apartment, she just loves her iced coffee to death and can't seem to make it like the lovely people who worked in the Cafe's in Marseille. Though Jessica quickly got dressed, slapping on a couple layers due to the mornings become brisker and brisker as the days grow shorter. With her puppy in her handy dandy puppy purse and with her endless supply of 'essentials' at hand she drove down to La Place Castellane to the endless row of Cafe's at her disposal. Badly parking on the side of the road she plops out of her car, of course taking her dear Maddy with her and steps into her favorite Cafe. The one with the pretty interior decorating. She never bothered to remember what the place was called. She stepped up to the cashier, checking her text messages on her cellphone as she does so.
"Marco, I want my usual." She muttered absent mindedly, not even looking up at the cashier.
The cashier, not Marco just understood what she meant and punched it in and quietly muttered her total. Jessica already knowing what it would cost took out her credit card and handed it over, slipping her cellphone into her purse from which it came. The cashier swiped the card and handed it back to her and quickly went to make Jessica's 'usual'.
Jessica, being satisfied now walked over to her favorite booth in the corner of the cafe and plopped her stuff down. Then Jessica took a seat next to her stuff. But as she sat down, the cashier brought over her drink and set it on the table and quickly left. Jessica smiled sniffing at the lid of her coffee, inhaling in the intoxicating aroma of her favorite Italian brew.
"Mmm, Doesn't that smell wonderful Maddie?" Jessica smiled looking down at her dog who sat in her purse.
Maddie quietly barked in response and Jessica of course took it as approval as she picked it up taking a sip. A wave of chilly coffee enveloped her taste buds and it brought her to blissful ecstasy. She missed having her iced coffee in the mornings, it just had always put in her in a good mood. It was wonderful having it again. Though she wished she could share it with someone else, not just Maddie.
