TAGGED: Closed to Adelina De Luca And Dominique McKinnon [W] For Language Of Course
Two weeks ago literally he was the happiest man in the world spending Valentine's night with his sweetheart. Eating cheesecake on the beach side, talking with one another, snuggling up close to be warm and sweet kisses. Nothing he had done earlier that night had ruined the night at all for he was happy. First time he had been more then happy in ages, he hadn't remembered a time he smiled so much. But then the next day ruined it when he flipped on the news. Literally he shallowed his voice box when he saw that the house he went to burn up a bit was burnt down. Resident who lived there did not get out and so he did not survive the fire. They claimed they found candles so they assumed it was a pure accident of the fire and no suspensions were made otherwise. There was no voice to him all he did was light up a cigarette then sit there smoking. No less then couple minutes of him smoking he got the phone call from Adelina.
He picked up, he didn't even say hello, she began to lash at him in questions also disappointment. He knew she was angry with him since he said he did not hurt no one, guess he was wrong. Was nothing he could do to convince her that he didn't do it on purpose and that it was meant to be a scare. He didn't mean to hurt no one even though he did accidentally did hurt that man inside his home. After that conversation she did not talk to him at all which he was somewhat depressed. Also extra snappy with people, including his room mates, he just wanted to be alone. Left her so many messages for her to forgive him he didn't mean for it to happen and he would never do it again. Graveling basically, since also he had an event he wanted to go to but didn't want to go alone. Invited her over and over again to go with him to his friends Engagement Party to lighten their moods. Though it seemed she was not going to talk to him again.
He didn't cry, he wouldn't cry, he was upset but he was not going to cry over this whole thing since he was a strong man. So when he thought the need to give up she actually did call him and tell him she would go with him. This was two days before the event which he was so pleased he thanked her over and over. Told her what to wear and such then told her when he was coming to get her, when to be ready. Once the day of the event came he was a brighter person and had cleaned himself all up then dressed in a suit. He hates tux's but he wore one for the occasion today since he knew Caleb would have it all upper class and stuff. Once he was ready at 3:30pm he left his home to go to his car. He put a cigarette in his mouth then he lit it with his hand then he was on his way to Marseille to go pick up his girl. As he drove from San to Marseille he was smoking but when he ended up in front of Ade's house he just double parked.
Texted her that he was downstairs then waited for her to get in. Once he heard his car door open then shut he looked over at her. Course she was always so beautiful but he didn't say nothing he just put the car into gear then he left. During the whole drive he was quiet which so was she but he could understand the silence between them. After all she was still not really ready to forgive him and he was sure he needed to beg some more. He already told her he was sorry and that he had not lied, was an accident. Also said to her he would not harm her which that was true, he hasn't at all. Driving to the large, gothic style, mansion he went drove all the way to the parking in the back of the place. A lot of people were arriving which he went sighed a little since he hated events like this. Oh well he had to go for this was also a meeting and way for him to get his second mission from Caleb.
Another something he had not told Ade and he was not going to tell her since she couldn't handle his dark truths. He parked up then he turned off the car and exited, made sure to grad his cigarettes too. Walking around he opened the door for Adelina then he shut it after she was out of the car. He took her hand in his hand which his hand was fairly warm since he forgotten to cool down some, though wouldn't of burned her. With a smile to her just to try lighten up the mood he lead her inside the home and went to the ballroom. Man the place was out done, shaking his head a little, he walked inside some more gawking. Caleb had too much money, this was too much, but hell Dean understood that if you loved someone who cared about money. "Do you want something to drink?" He asked her as they walked into the ballroom and he looked at the tempting bar there. Maybe some whiskey would be good or some other form of hard liquor, he wasn't sure, but he was going to drink to even tolerate the party.

Floating on a cloud, walking on air, Ade was just about as happy as can be the morning after Valentine's Day. She had her first real valentine. One that wasn't part of childhood, one that spent time with her because he truly wanted to, and not because he was her boyfriend at the time. Ade wasn't even sure what the two adults really were to each other. They had taken a step though, a big step. Mainly... just being able to touch and kiss each other without being utterly nervous that the other was going to freak out and run. At least that was how Adelina was feeling. She no longer had to worry about scaring Dean away. It was an amazing feeling. Even at the beginning of the night, she was half convinced that he was going to leave her stranded there. Now she had no problems.
You might wonder what she was doing watching the news the next morning, though on February the fifteen she had decided to sit down next to her sister. Alessana had done nothing the night before, and since Ade had a date with Dean, Alessana was in the house by herself. As Adelina remembers it now, she wasn't really paying attention until she heard the words fire, burnt down, man killed... that her ears really started to tune in. Usually she had no need to pay attention to what was on the television. There was nothing worth watching if she wasn't in it... and she definitely wasn't in the news. Not to mention she still had nightmares from the last time she had heard tragic news from the glowing box that once again was torturing her. She stopped paying attention to everything, except the story on the news. It wasn't given much attention, the police assumed it was a lit candle out of control that had done the damage. Cost a life. For some reason her conversation with Dean was flooding back into her mind.
Before she really had the chance to think about it, her phone was out of her pocket and in her hand. It was already ringing, connecting her to Dean. She couldn't help it. The moment she heard him pick up she just started talking. It took her almost ten minutes to realize that it was all in Italian. She could only hope that he understood her though he didn't know the language. She was tired of talking. he wasn't even saying anything anyway... he probably wasn't even listening. She was some girl that he's seen twice, and to top it off she was only nineteen. While he's never said it, she knows that he thinks of her as young for him. Just one of those gut feelings you get when someone looks at you just the right way. Even if for a mere moment in time. Finally switching to French she uttered but a few words. "How could you do that?" It was all she needed to say she guessed, and she hung up the phone.
She must have stuck in his mind because he called again, later that day. More times the next. Over the next week and a half she got more calls from him than she would expect in a month, maybe longer. Every time he left a message. She heard her phone go off so many times she literally began to cringe every time it would start to vibrate. It was like everyone else seemed to know not to call her in that time frame. She stopped looking at her phone all together. Then she finally decided to listen to him. Well, not him... the messages. She was no where near forgiving him, but she figured she might as well listen to the things that he left for her no fewer than four times a day some times. He didn't mean it, it would never happen ag... she scoffed and deleted the first few. If he had so blindly done what this boss of his had told him that time, he would do it again. A party for his friend's engagement... please come, he didn't want to go alone. It was on the twenty-eighth, please call.
She finally did. two days before the event she finally broke down and called him. She had by no means forgiven him, but despite herself she still cared for him, more than she was willing to admit to him at the time. She got the information from him, though didn't make any sort of conversation. The phone call was so business like, it wasn't like her at all. She had never been mad this long. Though usually when she was angered it was about something stupid, this was about honesty, and the life of a man that was now probably buried by his remaining relatives. After getting off the phone, she sat on her bed for a while. She was starting to let herself think about it for the first time. She had been completely ignoring everything for the last week and something just because she didn't want to think about it... couldn't. She tried to remember the night before and if anything had been off.
She was finally starting to get an idea of what her power, her taint... would let her do. Made her capable of. The librarian was shocked to be giving the young girl a card. Now she finally remembered everything. The small sense that something was wrong, but her pushing it off as nothing. She didn't have control though. She didn't know how to manipulate what had been given to her. Was it just the fact that she didn't want to believe anything in the future could happen between them that was bad? Was it that she was so scared she just pushed it out and didn't let if come back till the next day? Did Dean really make her want to push away the bad so much that she would ignore it so completely? She wasn't sure what she was scared of more, Dean and his fire... or the fact that she could turn off her own.
The morning of the party, she was starting to have second thoughts. She had spent all day previous at the library, learned of her power, who had it, even found and talked to a couple. She didn't practice working with it though. She wasn't sure why she was so reluctant. She didn't care for the fact that she could tell the future through feelings all the time, who would? Who would want to inadvertently touch something and feel like you wanted to die... it was almost enough for her to wear gloves all the time. But all the same, she knew she would go. How unhappy he sounded during every message... and the slight relief she heard when she finally called him. Besides, no matter how made she got, she could never leave someone alone.
Once the clock finally hit around three, the young woman finally decided to start getting ready. Emerging from under a rather large plate of spaghetti, Adelina got ready to take a shower. She had to find her dress, and her shoes... and for some reason her make-up kept disappearing in small bits. She would blame her sister, but for Alessana to do anything positive for her appearance was doubtful. Once she found everything, she managed to get a quick shower in. Only thirty minutes. Coming back into her room, she finished drying off and looked to the dress that she should have already had on. She had bought that dress thinking that something amazing was going to happen in it, after all it was incredibly beautiful. It didn't look half bad on her either, Adelina wasn't quite sure if she did the dark fabric justice or not. It still had a chance to do something amazing however... get Adelina through the night unscathed.
Sitting down at her bureau, she looked at her hair, and began to play with it softly with her fingers. She was stalling, she knew she was. The fact that she had fifteen minutes didn't phase her at all. She could be done if she really wanted to. Dean had said he was leaving at around three thirty, which meant at around four he should be there. Her phone went off for a short moment, and Adelina looked at it apprehensively. He was here. She wasn't dressed and he was here. Again, this didn't stop her from stalling. Not that she wanted to be late to the party, but she wasn't quite ready to see him anymore. He had driven fast.
Twenty minutes later she was finally done, and stepping into his car. Why wasn't he talking, couldn't he say anything? The young woman found herself at a loss for words as well. she had almost expected an April fool's, but that was an American holiday... and not in February. Not to mention, he wouldn't have gone to those horrid lengths just to trick her. Her doubt at going was starting to come back again. Why had she agreed to come in the first place. Were they going to be silent the entire night? Was this just so he could have someone on his arm? If so, why would he take a girl that he knew was mad at him right now. No doubt he could have found someone else to take with him. She didn't want him to take anyone else with though.
When they finally arrived, and Adelina had made it out of the car, Dean went to take her hand. She laced her fingers with his and held on a little tighter than she normally would have. Why? She was in a place she didn't know, with people she had never met and she was pretty sure that even if she tried she couldn't find her way back from this place. dean was warm though, warmer than she had ever felt him. She was once again getting a bad feeling coming over her. It was almost enough to make her turn back around and crawl back into the car. Was it going to be like this every time they went anywhere? Any time she wanted to touch him, hug him, kiss him? Or would she just have to learn to ignore the doomsday signals. For now, ignore. Adelina looked to him for a brief moment as they were walking inside. Looking back before her, she put on a face. The only one she has ever put on, and she hoped it would be her last. It was time to pretend everything was okay, for his friends. She didn't want to make a scene at his friend's engagement party, that would just be rude. She wanted to be an actress anyhow.
Adelina tried not to be awed at the scene when they entered the large mansion. She had never seen this much money in her entire life. One day though, she always would keep telling herself that one day... she would make al her dreams come true. As Dean offered something to drink, Adelina simply shook her head. Her attention was still on everything around the room. She was also finally starting to realize that she hadn't said a word to him since two days ago. Then again, she wasn't even really sure of what to say either.

As they made it to the home where his boss was having his engagement party he felt her grip tighten on his. His eyes looked over at her which he did let out a small smile since he thought she tighten her grip for other reasons. Walking with her at his side he was just a little warmer then normal since he didn't know what to expect here. Something was odd about this whole operation he felt. Knowing Caleb for some time he knew the man did not set any emotion to any female other then some little girl. When the engagement party was sent with Ambers name on it he was just bewildered. That was certainly out of the left field to where he did not see it coming but oh well. Guess Caleb really like the girl since he was going to marry her and such. As they entered inside then followed the crowds to the mini ball room inside the mansion he was even more bewildered. The man has money, Dean knew it, but this was a little too much for some engagement party. Which made him wonder what the damn wedding was going to be like.
With a small shake to his head he just proceeded to walk inside looking around at everything but still remaining quiet. For one he did not know if Ade was really pissed at him still for she was not speaking to him. But at the same time he was curious why she even came if she was pissed at him. He stopped walking then just watched as she looked around the place and he gave a settled smile again. Precious, she was simply precious like a porcelain doll which he wanted to keep. As she was not looking he finally got the chance to appreciate what she was wearing. Was nice of her to look her best to him and for him to this event which he smiled some more to the effort. She could of done a revenge act with dressing like a complete slob to make him look bad. But no she was done up for him and actually there because he did ask to nicely of her to come. Guess it did mean something besides the fact that he had something horrible to someone. There was no way he would hurt her though which he was going to show her that he wasn't going to hurt her at all.
Turning down his own body heat since he felt a little too warm, finally realized it, he walked over to the bar with her. He was going to drink maybe just one drink then stop since he knew he had to drive later. Asking her if she wanted something to drink was about the first thing he had said to her the whole time. She didn't answer him at all just shook her head 'yes' which he nodded right back. Just about to order himself a whiskey and her some mixed drink he changed his mind. This was an engagement party and he knew the champagne would be delicious. So he switched the order in his mind quickly before he ordered to the bartender working there. "Two glasses of champagne." He said and held his other hand up with two fingers up to indicate the number visually. The man already had some previous poured glasses. So it did not take long for the two to get their drinks which he handed Adelina her glass. Took his own glass and walked away from the bar with her in his hand, by his side.
Ice breaker, he needed one, he searched his brain for something to say which of course the cheesiest one of all came out. "You look stunning." Maybe less then cheesy and leaning more towards the typical response a man would say. His green eyes looked her over again. Dress was beautifully fit on her amazing body, her hair perfect and her face not all painted up with layers of make up. She was naturally beautiful which was one of the things he did love about her. Other then how she looked like he loved how she made him feel and how he could put a smile on her face. Which he needed to see the smile so that he would know that she was not angry with him. "Thank you for coming." He said again then he bite down on his bottom lip. No idea how he was going to continue so he took a while to form some words in his head. Which of course he used the champagne as some small fuel to help him along. Taste good, as he knew, which he only took a sip to enjoy the crisp bubbling flavor in his mouth. After all he was going to just have a glass or two before cutting himself off.
"Look...." He started off as he drew her away to a far off part of the room so they can have a little talk before having some fun. "I'm sorry. Honestly. I did something completely stupid and it's going to stain my soul for the rest of my life. I, whole hearted honestly, did not know that the man didn't get out. I thought he did and I thought I didn't do anything but scare him honest. It was a very very rotten and horrible mistake of mine which ended up to someone getting hurt. Ade...." He said her name, stopped though then squeezed her one hand he did have in his hand. "....I promise that wouldn't ever happen again. I promise also I will not hurt you." He remarked in a pleading tone of voice to her to show her he was serious. His green eyes looked down at her as he stood there in front of her so she had his full attention. "I want us to be okay again, really." He said to add onto what he said since he kind of didn't get to the full point across. Once he said his part of what he needed to say to her he went quiet. His pale green eyes searching at her for some hope maybe she was going to talk to him. That everything was going to go back to normal because he had not been a day happier in his life. Valentine's was the best day he had ever in his life, why, because he spent it with Ade.

Adelina though she had said no when he offered something to drink, but as he handed her the glass of champagne, she didn't refuse it. It would be good to have a little alcohol in her system. Though she honestly couldn't remember if she was stupid drunk, or quiet drunk. She wouldn't give herself the opportunity to find out. Making a complete idiot out of herself would not be a good thing. The man who lived here didn't look like he would put up with it, and Dean would probably make her go sit in the car for embarrassing him. She continued to look around the place, and note just how much money was probably put into this event, and how it would be more than she could ever dream of having. The bad thing about going to engagement parties and weddings... was that it always gave girls ideas. All she had to do now was find the right guy.
She followed Dean as he walked around. She still didn't know if she was angry with him anymore, or disappointed that he could do such a thing. She tried to push the thoughts from her mind. So far he hadn't said anything about it, and she really didn't want to be the one to bring anything up. Not here, not now. Maybe they could go someplace after wards, some place quiet... and then they could talk about it. She still couldn't believe she was here. Her thoughts were interrupted by three simple words. Dean was making the effort. Should she talk? Well, she couldn't stay silent forever. "Thank you," she said quietly, just before taking yet another small swallow of the champagne. As he thanked her for coming, she shook her head as if to say it was nothing. She probably would have been a bit happier with coming two weeks ago, but that was something that couldn't be helped.
It was then that he led her over into a secluded part of the ballroom, apparently he wanted to talk about this now. Ade took a deep breath and tried to take in what he was telling her. She still had this dark feeling in the back of her mind. He squeezed her hand, it was only a little, but it created a sharp pang of discomfort in the young woman's chest. What... was that... She was still trying to fight what was coming over her, but it was getting harder and harder. To try and think about his words, and keep her power in check was a bit too much. But she had to figure out just what was going on, so she let go. She stopped trying to hold back what his future emotions might be, and let their hands say it. All she could feel was... anger? Was that hatred? Why was it so strong? And now Adelina felt nauseas.
Ade dropped his hand, and everything stopped. She still felt nauseas and her now free hand went to her stomach. She tried to push this feeling away, but it was her natural reaction to whatever had been given to her. Why was this in his future... What could have happened that made him so angry. Was it her? She wished that she could tell when this was supposed to happen. It could be in the next five minutes, or it could take weeks, years. She looked to his face now, searching for any kind of answer. Why was he this way. How could he be so great with her, but all she can feel in his touch is bad things. He looked so sincere though. Were these feelings about this event? Were they his true feelings about how he was reacting. No, they couldn't be. That look in his eyes is real. At least she thought it was real, she never was a good judge of anything.
She took another swallow of her champagne, trying to calm her stomach. Probably not the best idea but it was the only one she had. He was still waiting for her to say something, and she didn't want to precede it with a large upheaval of whatever she had eaten earlier that day. "I believe you, I do. We will be okay again, I can't promise when. But I want to believe we will," she said rather softly. She was currently combating the urge to gag, though her stomach was calming. She swallowed hard and took a deep breath. "Are you mad at me? For anything?"

He was taking the steps carefully since he knew she was piss off at him and hated him for what he did. So being careful with his actions was one thing, yeah she didn't ask for a drink, but he knew it would calm her down. She needed to relax because he was not going to hurt her at all. He just wanted to have a nice time and wanted her to have a nice time as well since this was a party. Next thing after getting her a drink he knew he had to do was tell her how much he did appreciate her being there. Also tell her how beautiful she was to him which she was simply stunning. His green eyes really couldn't keep off how good she looked but he was modestly checking her out. Not gawking, since he knew she was still sore with him and didn't want to upset her at all. He had to talk to her though so he lead her off to the side so he can tell her what was on his mind.
Away from the crowds of people going to speak to Amber or Caleb. Surely you can tell which two people out of the small crowd were the bride and groom to be. His head turned to see all of his Caliga buddies coming to the event and he kind of felt a little uneasy. He calmed himself then turned to tell her he was sorry about what he did and he was begging her to forgive him or something. He squeezed her hand when he told her he wanted them to be alright away. But something was wrong with her which he can see it in her eyes and he released the grip a little slowly. Was he hurting her, no he couldn't be hurting her, since his temperature was down also wasn't gripping roughly. His eyes searched her utterly confused then she tossed his hands away from her. He felt a little taken back but didn't say anything just looked at her shocked. Was she so pissed at him? He was so confused and did not know what the hell to do right now.
For a moment too he swore she looked a little like she was going to puke. Was he so repulsive to him right now? So many things were going through his mind right now. Since she looked so distressed and so disgusted with him right now. Guess it was a clear mistake in bring her here with him if she was still so upset with him and such. For the first time in ages he felt a sharp ping in his heart and his eyes dropped to the floor. He took a small drink from his champagne as she took a drink and remained there in silence since he felt horrible. Actually he shoved a hand into his pocket then he stood there frowning since she said nothing to him. Suddenly she spoke to him and his eyes lifted to look at her again. She did believe him so he kind of smiled off since those were the words he did want to hear. The sharp ping left him which he felt the boulder lift off his back and he smiled.
So she was not ticked at him as he thought she did want to forgive him and believe him. Must mean that she did care for him as much as he did care for her so he moved closer to her. After she was done speaking he leaned down, shut his eyes, gave her a long peck on the lips. This was decent enough since he did not want to fully make out with her. He was showing his compassion for once in his lifetime and he only shows his nice side to her only. His friends, Caliga, did know him to be nice but also they knew him to be a hot head. If you pissed him off he would flick a flame ball at you so fast you would forget to dodge it. With Adelina he was a different person, some didn't recognize him, so he knew this was something special to him. With a smile on his face he was much more in a better mood then before. Which then she asked him a very odd question which he tilted his head to the side. He did not know she was tainted at all since she did not tell him that she was even though she told him her siblings were going through problems.
At this particular moment he was not clicking that into him. "Mad at you? Why would I be mad at you for anything hun? If anything you should be the one pissed at me not me to you. You haven't done nothing wrong at all." He said to her then he took her hand again then he tilted his head to the side. He took a deep breath then smiled off, some crooked smirk, then he looked at her normal. "No mad is completely the opposite I feel about you which is why I want you to forgive me so badly. I don't think I felt this way about a person well in my whole life so I know perfectly well what this feeling is. Ade, can't be mad at you when I'm so in love." He smiled off at her knowing his words might shock her. But he had to tell her what he felt inside of him and he knew it was love. He was upset when she had not talked to him for those weeks. He adored Ade and didn't want her to leave him especially when he cared a lot and felt she did care for him too.

Sliiiight bit of Moding. But I already asked youuu.
Adelina couldn't tell what her reactions were doing to the man, her sudden urge to hurl, the fact that simply touching him made her want to curl into the fetal position and never get up. He didn't know she was tainted, he wouldn't know that this is what her power was doing to her. She didn't know why she never told him. Maybe it was because she had never fully come to terms with the fact that she was like him. Because she didn't want to be like him in that way. The fact that he hurt people with his power, would she end up hurting people too? She couldn't take that though and be alright with it. But standing in the corner with her hand on her stomach, just hoping that he wouldn't touch her again... would that be hurting him? She didn't have time to think about that though, because he was moving closer to her. She faltered just slightly and moved back a step before he kissed her. She was trying, far too hard. She almost had herself under control again, but because her stomach was feeling so bad already, another wave of nausea rushed over the girl.
He was trying, she knew he was trying. To be nice, to be kind. Why was everything so different from his present demeanor. Was it that these feelings weren't going to come for a while? Was she wrong about her power, was it a foreteller of the future? She didn't really have time to think about that now. This was neither the time nor the place to be trying to think about the technicalities of your oddity. She looked up to him, trying to calm her stomach from it's last small episode. Concentrate on his words and get a hold of yourself. Those were her only two goals for the next five minutes. They were talking, simply talking. No touching involved. She really did need to get a pair of gloves. And a long sleeve anything. Maybe she could talk to Amber and borrow something. Dean was a nice person, so the couple to be must be as well right? No that wouldn't work. Tossing your cookies on a woman you just met's clothes was not a good idea. But hey, on the bright side, Dean wasn't mad at her.
As Dean took her hand, Adelina cringed slightly. He was touching her again, but she was trying to not push him away again. He wouldn't understand why she was acting that way. Yes, he was tainted too, but he threw flame balls, not puked every time he touched another person. Some power she had. Wait, he was talking again. Damn, she really needed to learn how to pay attention when he was talking. He wasn't mad, knew that. Okay next bit, something about feelings... blah. His words were getting lost in nausea and a feeling of impending doom. That's when she heard it. Did he really say what she just though her did. Another wave of nausea hit, and the hand holding her drink moved to her stomach. She... needed to hurl. She couldn't put it off anymore. "Where's the bathroom?" she asked meekly.
As Dean led her to the bathroom, Ade tried to clear her mind. She would think about that whole love thing later... yes, later. She didn't need to think about it now. Finally at the bathroom, she walked in, and locked the door behind her. Going to the toilet, she raised the lid and finally let everything in her stomach loose. Better, much much... better. Flushing, she walked to the sink and tried to wash herself up as best she could. All she was feeling were her own emotions, and she no longer harbored feelings of sickness. This was getting better and better. Picking up her glass of champagne from the counter, she took a small drink. Putting it down, she placed a hand on each side of the sink and looked at herself in the mirror. She looked like crap. Wonderful. Her eyes were red, she looked like she had been crying, and now she desperately wanted to brush her teeth.
Turning on the water, she cupped her hands an made a little cup, big enough to get water to her mouth to rinse it out. She took a little but more water and splashed it on her face. She would have to go out there eventually Have to face him and the words that he had said. Was she even ready for something like this? She was having fun. This was like... the third time they had ever met. How could he know that he was in love with her. He must be lying or something. But that was the thing. Dean would never lie to her, not that he knew anyway. He didn't have a reason to tell her something that wasn't the truth. She looked around the rather large restroom, and discovered a small window on the far side. For a fleeting moment the thought of fleeing ran through her mind. That wouldn't be fair for anyone though. But how do you tell someone that you just don't know. Looking at herself in the mirror again, she tried to gain the courage that was needed to walk back out that door. This wasn't like her, she had never needed to gain courage before. Then again, no one has ever been in love with her before.
One last deep breath. One last splash of water on the face. She dried it off with one of the hand towels briefly before picking up her glass and downing the rest of the liquid it held. She walked to the door and opened it to find Dean still waiting there. He was a good man. She gave him a small smile, and began to play with the empty glass she now had in her hands. "Hi," she said in a small voice. "I'm feeling better."

warningg from here on
Her eyes instantly narrowed as she saw the distinctive frame of her brother across the room. It was a mistake coming here. A complete mistake.
When she received the invitation in her mailbox, at first, she thought they had the address wrong. She doubled check, but the envelope had her name on it and her address. She was being invited to an engagement party of people she didn't even know. She was going to send them back a latter telling them that she really wouldn't feel comfortable going because they didn't know her, yet she didn't. She shrugged, tucked the envelope away in her purse and the next thing she knew, she was putting on a white dress she had recently bought, and was doing her hair and make-up. Even if they didn't know who she was, they had invited her. She was going to go. Meet a couple of people, and then leave soon. It never occurred to her that there was reason to why Caleb had invited her. Never occurred to her that her evil brother was going to be there too..... She had parked, she had entered, unimpressed with the entire party. Whoever was getting married was spending a shit load of money on something that wasn't even important. She disliked them already. Shouldn't they be spending that money on the actual wedding? Unless they had a ton of money they felt like spending on extravagant affairs. Another reason why to dislike whoever Caleb was.
As soon as she noticed Dean, she felt like leaving. Even if she didn't know these people, causing a chaotic scene at their engagement party was pretty rude - even for herself. She ran a hand through her dark hair, which she had left down. She would stay, but hopefully, Dean wouldn't notice her. She may be able to cool down, but he, the hot head, would never do so. Especially after their shaky meeting online. He would probably burn her to death the moment he caught sight of her. Nobody would notice that they were siblings - neither of them let on that they had a brother of a sister. They hardly looked alike, yet they did. Their hair colour were of different shades, her skin was more fair, she was shorter, but it was their haunting eyes... Their unusual pale green, that made everyone know instantly that they were related. She hated it. She had got coloured contacts just to cover up that fact, but not realizing that the idiot was here, she didn't bring them.
She mingled around the crowd, talking to random people, a glass full of champagne in her hands. She still kept on looking over to wear Dean was standing, talking with some pretty girl that looked younger than herself. She shook her head, slightly disgusted. He should be trying to get girls that are the same age as him. She couldn't help but keep looking over every other second. If he was being observant at all, he would of noticed. But never for once did he look in her direction. She moved with him, when he walked a bit to the left, she moved a bit to the right. She didn't dare move from her side of the room to his. She was just being careful. Maybe Dean didn't notice her constant glancing, but the people she talked to did. When she refused to tell them what she was looking at, they left her to find someone sane to talk to. That was fine with Domino. She liked to be alone more than among other people.
When her brother did something to his little girlfriend and had to lead her to the bathroom, Domino actually started giggling. It was hilarious. Did his disgusting personality finally rub off on her? Enough to make her want to be sick? And then way he was just STANDING there, waiting for her to come out. What the hell was wrong with him? The person she was talking to just gave her a weird look and walked away quickly. Domino didn’t care, and she couldn’t help it. Her feet started moving in the direction her brother was. She was going to tell him that she needed the bathroom, not that she wanted to go there and make fun of him – even if that was what she wanted to do.
A fake smile was plastered to her pretty face as she ‘accidentally’ bumped into him. “Oh, I’m sorry,” she said, before turning around and looking at him. A shocked look replacing her smile. “Dean. What a surprise to see you here!” Then his little girlfriend walked out and she shook her head. She could do soo much better than her brother. “Hello, and you are?” she asked her.
Oh this was going to be fun.

There was not doubt in his mind she was sick since her face was kind of pale then she asked him for the bathroom. His eyes went to the ground a little hurting, but he toughen up quickly, he went looked at her took her hand. "Come along." He remarked then he lead her to the bathroom so she would be able to take care of whatever. He let her go which she dashed into the bathroom and he sighed. At first he leaned against the wall then downed the rest of his champagne since he needed it. That was a first thing for him to open up to someone and tell them he loved them. After their reactions were to go and puke, so he was a little miserable right now. He reached into his pocket then he pulled out a cigarette then lit the end with a snap of his fingers. Smoking was allowed in the house since he knew Caleb was a chain smoker. Also Dean has been to this place so many times to know where were ashtrays everywhere in the house. Leaning off away from the wall he just wondered around and set his empty glass on a servers tray that past by.
For once this evening, he felt like he was being watched so he slowly looked around since this was odd. No one would or should be following him especially at a place like this but he felt like someone was there. When he glanced to one side he could of sworn he saw a glimpse of someone too familiar. But when he looked back the figure was gone, so, he thought he was seeing things. He shrugged slowly then he looked at his wrist watch and clocked Ade was in there for some time. Guess she was sick from something she ate since he didn't think words could effect her this much. He paced around smoking his cigarette then he sighed. When he turned the other way to pace someone ran into him which he moved the cig to the side to not burn the person. His eyes went looked ahead of him then he saw the person he would rather not met. Pale green eyes went from a sorry look like he was going to apologize to a narrow. Acting was not one of his sisters best talents so he pursed his lips in anger then took a drag from his cigarette.
"A surprise? Why are you surprised?" He snapped at her with some heat in his tone of voice and he looked like he was going to blow up words. "The real surprise is with me of what the hell are you doing here? Huh?" Soon a smirk went on his lips then he looked like he had some idea in his head. That is when his voice calmed down then he began to mock her whole being here. "Oh wait, you must be working right? How much is Caleb paying you to entertain his guests? Bet he is paying you a bonus if you go home with someone, eh? Got to make a living somehow, right Sis?" He remarked rudely to her then he smirked in some satisfaction he heard her feelings. He took a long drag of his cigarette then he blew out the smoke hotly. He was already nearly done with the cigarette since he was smoking quicker to calm down. As soon as he heard the bathroom door open he turned his head at the same time Domino did. The two did not really look completely alike in facial structure but some things were the same. Especially their eyes, both the exact color of pale green.
Dean was slightly taller then Domino but since she had her heels on she was nearly as tall as him right now. When Ade popped out of the bathroom and did a small 'Hi' to him he smiled off, just a small smile. His eyes looked back to Domino and he went dropped his cigarette in her champagne glass. "Cheers." He walked over to Adelina then he heard her say she was feeling better. "Good, good. Guess it was something you ate?" He asked her quietly since he didn't want Domino to hear him be nice. But course Domino pipped up with the fake friendly 'Hello' then asked who Ade was. Dean shut his eyes for a moment and then he lost a little control. Heat began to radiate from him, about 104 degrees, anyone close to him would feel it. His eyes opened and he looked over to Domino then he snapped at her. "She is none of your business!" Then he turned away from Adelina to face Domino again. "You should really leave this place before I make you." He threaten, he turned to grab Adelina's hand. Sure he was really hot but he would not of burnt Ade at all since he wasn't boiling hot. Dean gave another nasty glare then he began to drag Ade with him to get away from Domino right now.

It's short, I phail.
As Adelina exited the bathroom, a small smile came over her face. Dean was talking to someone, socializing. He didn't look the happiest, but he must be trying. The family resemblance was completely lost on the girl. It was then that he put the cigarette out in her champagne. Ade started to get the feeling that something was up, but she had no idea what it was bringing. As he walked back over to her, she mentioned that she was feeling better. She really was. He said it must have been something she ate, and Adelina looked briefly off to the side and shrugged a little. She wasn't... lying really, she just didn't want to tell him the truth at this particular moment. She'd have to tell him one of these days. Yes, one of them. Maybe a few years from now. That sounded good. If she even still knew him then.
The other woman greeted Ade and a large smile came over the girl's face. Adelina was always the type to talk to just about anyone. Just as she opened her mouth to respond, she felt Dean's temperature grow. She still hadn't learned that they connected to his emotions, but the look on his face somehow said it all. What was... He suddenly snapped at the other woman and Ade was a bit taken aback. Leave before he made her, and why was Adelina none of her business, she was just someone trying to be nice... Once Dean grabbed her hand, she could feel just how hot he had gotten, it felt like he had a fever all over. He was trying to drag her away, what in the world? Adelina pulled her hand from his grip, not easily, and took a step back. She looked at him like he was going insane, "What the hell is wrong with you?"
Adelina gently crossed her arms over her chest as if she was waiting for a response. What would make him do a complete turn around. He was acting so... nice before she had gone into the bathroom, what was turning him into an asshole now? She didn't think it could be her, but she also didn't think it could be some random party-goer either. She shook her head gently at him. He wasn't acting like the Dean she knew. Then again, how much did she really know him. This was only the third time she had seen him in person. Maybe she had been wrong about him in the first place.
She walked back over to the other woman, and offered her a handshake. Adelina put up her defenses, just in case another bathroom visit might be in order with this one, but she really didn't think so. "Adelina de Luca, it's a please to meet you..." Ade's voice trailed off, hoping that the woman would offer up her own name in return. "Lovely place, isn't it?"
