Masinori chuckled, “I doubt that, no others make me feel so…tenuous.” He searched for the right word. “And Izar…well, I’ve seen your dreams.” He put special emphasis on the last word. “Other people,” He shook his head, “They don’t have dreams like yours. You have a very pure heart. I don‘t think I could act this way around just anyone.” He paused, "A beautiful heart, but one that tends to hurt." He could feel at least that from his dreams, even if they did tend to be all over the place.
Masi’s jaw dropped angrily and he huffed then frowned. So he was right about that too, Izar didn’t like him at first. It made him feel a little bad.“I don’t have to meet people to know them.” He sulked and thought about it. “Well…no you’re right actually, I can see myself coming off as a pompous arrogant jerk. And I judged you before meeting you or seeing your dreams, but that’s because you…well look at you!” He tried to justify himself. He wondered at what moment Izar decided not to hate him. He would shake hands with that moment if he could and thank it for a job well done.
His heart felt so overwhelmed when Izar buried his head in his chest and talked into his shirt. He petted his hair. He’d never felt or experienced anything like this before. There was nothing that ever happened to him that felt more enjoyable or fulfilling. “I can understand that, it can be both a good and bad thing. There are certain people in the world that you need to exercise caution around, and then there are people that you want to open up to but can‘t.” He rested his head on Izar’s, “But now we have each other. I don’t want you to trust anyone else anyway!” He joked. “Just me.”
“Yeah, this moment is pretty good.” Masi said in agreement. “I can’t help it, that was really cool.” He looked a little embarrassed. It wasn’t every day someone left the ground to kiss him. Izar poked fun at his reversed hours and looked at the sky. He could see the moon reflected in his eyes, and turned his own gaze upwards to look at the stars. He didn‘t know constellations like he knew herbs, but he knew that they were lovely. There were thankfully no clouds to block them, or rain on them, so you could see them very clearly.
“It’s funny that your name means “star” and my nickname is “tsukiakari” (moonlight).” He said looking up. It’s like we’re made for each other. They stood there, the moon reflected in Izar’s eyes, and the stars in Masi’s. He saw the shooting star too, and thought Izar’s excitement was cute. He made his wish, I wish to have this love always. He thought. Masi rested his head in his hand, his elbow supported by the other, and watched Izar. “I love you.” He sighed, just feeling like saying it one more time. Actually he felt like saying it a million times. He kept getting this overpowering feeling like he needed to scream or burst and didn’t know what to do with himself.
((Wow this got to two pages really fast but GAH! I totally had writer’s block! What’s wrong with meeeeee! I think we need to come up with some kind of dilema...any ideas?))

((OOC: WHOO!!! Two pages! hmm, dilemma? *ponders* Perhaps we should add generic person #1 or something! lol *shrug*))
Izar smiled and hugged Masinori. He liked that Masinori had seen his dreams. Before he had been very off with the fact that Masinori could see into his deepest desires but no anymore. It was comforting in fact. He like the though of having Masinori around even in his dreams. Izar smiled flattered, "You're just saying that." he said at the pure heart comment. Izar looked at him with a start and shrugged. Masinori was right, he had almost been on the verge of withdrawing from the world had he not meant so many people who cared for him. Most recently Masinori, Izar never thought that love could find him and it did. He grinned and pushed the though away. Those were sad thoughts and he didn't want to be sad right now.
Izar smiled "Yeah, sorry but I don't normally get the kind of reaction." He shrugged. He had been so put off that had he not seen Masinori's face ever again he would be content with that. He was glad that that that feeling of need had brought him to that tree so many weeks ago. Perhaps Need did have some use after all. Izar grinned teasingly, "Well, that's not normally what people say when they meet someone like me." He laughed, "Usually they have 'what's wrong with that kid?' written all over their faces." He nodded, "But maybe you're just as odd as I am and that was why we were drawn to each other." He chuckled and shrugged.
Izar smiled and looked up at Masinori. He nodded he knew that well enough but that didn't mean he had to like it. He grew up not trusting people. His foster parents had tried to get him away from that but it hadn't done much for him. He nodded and smiled, "Alright, I'll trust you." He said looking up into Masinori's eyes. It was funny that he was in love with someone a head taller than him. He made him feel a little bit like a kid. He laughed, "You know you might be on of those mysterious types... I'm not sure if I can trust you," he teased giving Masinori a mock suspicious look. He half spread his wings in happiness. They shifted about a bit more ruffling and stretching before he folded them again.
Izar smiled, "Of course it is." He grinned. He shrugged, "I guess I don't really notice it anymore." He smiled and spread his wings for balance and curled his legs under himself sitting in midair. It was a lot more comfortable than it might have looked. It appeared that he had to hold his legs in place but the little cushion of air did just fine. He set his feet back on the ground, "That's part of the deal with air. You know, they never tell you what might happen after you get your power. Anything it possible." He shrugged and laughed, "I definitely never expected this." He said flexing his wings. That had been the last thing that he would have ever imagined after he had acquired his power. He never thought about it unless he was in public. Who used feet anymore?
Izar grinned, "Tsukiakari," he laughed, "Of course what are the stars without moonlight to complete their spender." He said staring at the sky. Izar beamed and turned to him, "I know, and me too." He smiled and hugged Masinori tightly. He tensed for a moment. He glanced over his shoulder thinking he heard something. His eyes felt nothing. He reached out and felt something in the way of the stream of air. He squinted then shook his head, it could be the tree. He shrugged and let the thought fall out of his mind. He was just hearing things.

“I don’t just say things.” Masinori assured him. What kind of reaction did he get? Masi couldn’t relate. He couldn’t imagine anyone reacting negatively to Izar, but he was a little biased after all. “So you thought I was being sarcastic? Wow you must’ve thought I was a real ass.” He blinked several times and remembered how Izar had sort of lashed out at him when he woke him up. “No wonder you were so cross with me in the field at first…” He thought out loud. And then he’d entered a very personal dream as well. He thought about the “odd” comment. “Yeah…that must be it because I can’t understand that.” He shrugged as well. “I am mysterious.” Masinori said, holding his head up high. “Not with you though.”
Masinori stood back a few inches while Izar sat in the air, a perplexed look on his face, and his head tilted to the side. He’d seen a lot of things, the village was full of people with abilities. Crazy abilities. Even people with Avism. He’d seen them fly before, but not like this, and not Izar. He was just floating there it seemed. He stood back on the ground again. “Well one thing I never expected was people could hold me captive in their dreams…” Masinori said uncomfortably. “I guess that’s one of the negative sides of my ability. Maybe that’s why I practice so much. I always want to be undetected when I enter another’s dream.”
Izar called him Tsukiakari, it felt weird to hear him say it, but not bad. And he always sounded wonderful when he said things in Japanese. Izar tensed up, “What’s wrong?” He asked, looking in the same direction. But Izar turned back and shook his head. He must’ve heard something, but he shrugged it off, so Masi did too. He probably knew better than he did anyway. Masinori had good intuition about people, could tell a lot about them just by seeing them or hearing them talk. One thing he couldn’t do was sense when they were around though. “Can you conceal your wings again?” Masinori asked cautiously. He was a little nervous, realizing now that they were out in the open.
Masi never thought his hearing was particularly keen, but there was suddenly an unmistakable metallic sound. He leapt in front of Izar and knocked him to the ground. Simultaneously, a shot was fired in their general direction. The two rolled to the ground, Masi landed on top of Izar and paused, looking him in the eyes, before standing up. He prepared himself for another shot, or for someone to come forward. He prepared himself for a fight if need be, and put his arms up now in a firm battle stance. “Who’s there!” He demanded in a low and angry tone. He stood defensively in front of Izar.

((OOC: lol OMG!!!!! REALLY!!!!!! AWE!! I wanna go!! I <3 Miyavi!!!))
Izar grinned, "Yeah a little bit." He laughed and punched Masinori's shoulder, "But that was then, and this is now. There's no point in dwelling on it." He shrugged and then laughed again, "Yeah, that and dreams like that make me bitter and angry." He shook his head a frown swallowing his smile as he recalled the memory. Izar was happy, the happiest he had ever been in his life. He never once thought that he could find happiness like this. It was overwhelming and a little dazzling. He felt like he couldn't breath and if he did all this would disappear. Izar smiled pushing that thought out of his mind, "Yeah, I can see right through your mysterious guise!" He grinned teasingly.
Izar shuttered, "That must have been horrible. I can't even imagine that." He shook his head that terrified him. There was so much that terrified him about the unconscious mind. The things it held could be both frightening and great all at once. They held memories good and bad and they were not a force to be reckoned with. He smiled, "It's good that you practice a lot, but do you think I could... I don't know... maybe actually see you and not your silhouette." He teased shoving Masinori lightly in the shoulder. "Going undetected is good, if you hadn't have told me that you had gone into my dreams I would have never known and blamed it on the id." He shrugged, "I should practice more, my emotions still get the better of me." He sighed annoyed.
Izar shrugged, "I don't know. Maybe nothing... maybe something. Though friend or foe is unknown to me." Izar felt Masinori getting nervous too. He was just considering doing just that. "Yeah, good idea." He pulled his wings back into his back they felt good again. They had stretched and were comfortable again. Not as comfortable as they were when they were out but comfortable enough. He felt the hair on the back of his neck rise and felt eyes on the back of his neck. He tried to shake it off but not even Masinori's presence shook it off. He felt chills running up and down his back in succession. He turned to Masinori a bad feeling in his gut. "I think we should get outta here." He said getting jumpy. "I don't think we're quite alo---"
A small click and Izar began to turn catching the glint of something in the dim moonlight. He was slammed to the side, his mind numb. Masinori was reacting better than he was. He knew there was a lot of bitterness between tainted and untainted humans but no one had ever tried to shoot him before. He looked up at Masinori his silver eyes glinting wide with fear. He watched Masinori. He shook his head and got to his feet in a swift motion. He grabbed for Need and his hand closed on empty air. DAMNITFUCK!!!! He had left Need hanging above his couch. Why?!?! How could he be so stupid. All he had was a little dagger. He pulled it out and crouched behind Masinori holding the blade at eye level. He searched the brush and felt again. There.
His eyes moved to a silhouetted figure barely visible against the blackness around him. He definitely felt it now. He could sense him. The power of the gun was in the air around him poisoning it. He could see it as though it were a beacon. He watched the darkness. Now if he could angle it right... another shot went off and Izar leapt in front of Masinori aiming the blade. If he could hit it right it would rebound on it's sender. Almost... He could see it not with his eyes but through the wind it brought. Almost here...

It was stupid, naturally the only answer Masi got was another fired bullet. But to his surprise and dismay, Izar jumped in front of him now. It all happened very quickly, everything. Masinori had no idea what he was doing, but Izar had gotten up with a small dagger and stood in front of him, aiming it, just as the other shot was fired. He didn’t see exactly what he’d done, but he thought the bullet never hit them. Masi grabbed Izar by the shoulders and shook him, “What are you doing!” He yelled, frightened for him. He had been standing right in front of where it would’ve hit. He could be bleeding at his feet, he could be dead. Masinori was overcome with anger. Not at Izar but at the stranger. Well, maybe a little at Izar for risking his life.
He charged forward towards the bushes, and didn’t stop to ask questions. The man fired another shot, it hit the ground. He tried to hit Masinori, but he blocked his attempts. It did take a lot of effort. Masinori may’ve practiced dream walking nearly every night, but his Shaolin was another story. He disarmed the man and knocked him to the ground. He began knocking him around the face in a wild fury. Somewhere between blows the man had grabbed his pistol again, it was smaller than the sound would’ve implied. Masinori forgot about rearranging his features and the two fumbled for the gun.
A shot was fired and everything moved in slow motion. Masi got hold of the gun at last and gave the man one last blow to the head, knocking him unconscious. He fell backwards, in the same position he’d been in when Izar had first revealed his wings, then doubled over in pain. He wretched and screamed and swore. But at least that meant he was still alive. He wasn’t sure how long that’d last. All he thought was what was that guy’s deal? He wasn’t even sure where the bullet had hit, somewhere in his midsection that was for sure, but the pain was so intense he couldn’t locate it’s origin point.
His vision blacked out like he had stood up too fast after having not eaten, so he couldn’t see where Izar was. He thought about his actions, many thoughts occurring simultaneously. If he hadn’t done something Izar could’ve been hurt. But for some reason he mostly felt concerned about how fiercely he had worked over the strange man. It was very peculiar, and wasn’t pity…he just didn’t realize he could behave so aggressively…so animalistic. He hated the untainted, but did he really want to stoop to their level of belligerence? But he remembered that the man had shot at them without notice or question and that he’d merely defended himself and his loved one.
“What did you jump in front of me for? Did you get hit?” Masinori asked. He reached one hand out to feel for Izar, he couldn't see or hear him. "Are you ok?!" He choked out. The unconcious man beside him smelled of booze and he wished for a stiff drink to take away the numbing pain all over his abdomen.

Izar watched closed his eyes and watched the bullet with the wind. It had to be perfect or he was a goner. Almost... There! He opened his eyes and felt Masinori's hands on his shoulders. They threw him off. No! This couldn't be happening. Izar gasped trying to get the blade in place again. Too late. It hit the top and did it's job... partly. Instead of lodging itself into his heart it lodged itself into his shoulder. Pain lanced through it and he stifled a scream falling to his knees clutching his shoulder. "Wait!" He shouted after Masinori as he ran forward. This had all gone horribly wrong! "STOP!" He cried but Masinori was lost to his voice. Izar felt blackness edging over his eyes unsure if it was the pain or if it was just the darkness.
Izar looked up an saw masses of dark shapes shotting all over the place. Masinori and the man were in a scuffle and he couldn't tell who was who. He saw the gun slide and tried to move but the pain of movement almost caused him to black out. Izar heard the shot and saw Masinori fall with an inhuman slowness. Dead, was his first thought then he heard Masinori's screams of anguish and struggled to his feet. He stagged a bit his hand waving in the empty air for something to lean on. He fell forward near Masinori he could crawl there easily enough. Ever movement sent flashes of pain through his arm. He began to move slowly levering himself along using his good arm and pulling himself along. He tried to bring out his wings in vain. The pain was too great. He did it once and lay there panting in pain. It had shifted the bone where the bullet had hit and sent him into blackness.
Izar's mind felt fuzzy and in throb as though it had been hit and not his shoulder. But, hell, it hurt. His progress was slow and annoying. He saw two dark shapes sprawled on the ground. Who was who? He felt tears pricking in his eyes. Masinori couldn't be hurt. He had to be alright. He had to be. This was his fault, if he hadn't brought out his wings, no one would have ever seen, no one would have ever wanted to hurt them. If only he had felt the presence before. The moon came out of the clouds shedding a dim light around them. Izar identified Masinori and his dagger still clutched in his hand clattered on the stone as he pulled himself up and staggered the last few lengths. He fell to his knees at Masinori's side. Now he had tears flowing freely.
He looked Masinori over and a strangled cry escaped him as his eyes passed over his side. A dark pool was slowly forming under him and his white shirt was staining black or red he couldn't tell. Like an evil omen passing over him as well as life's blood leaving him. Masinori wasn't moving. He felt as though death was in the air. It smelled so horrible. It stank of metallic blood and powder, the sharp smell of alcohol as well as the sweet scent of herbs. The smells overwhelmed him like a fire anger burning in him. For Masinori for the poison spread in the air. It made him irrational. He wanted to tear that man apart. Leave no trace of him but his blood staining the earth. To make him bleed like Masinori it drove him like a hunger and filled him with adrenalin. He stood and looked at the man the pain in his shoulder a dull ache.
As if the thought had provoked it Izar heard another metallic click. His breath stopped and he froze a cold steel barrel resting against his head. Masinori's voice broke his trance and he felt tears choking him, "To save you, baka..." He said and the barrel nudged him as if telling him to say more. "I'm alright, but you..." He fell to his knees and grabbed for Masinori's hand. "If you die here, I'll kill you." Izar heard sirens and felt the prodding on the back of his head. He gripped Masinori's hand and willed the sirens to come quicker. He felt a hand squeeze his shoulder and he couldn't take it anymore. His adrenalin waisted and his world went dark.

((AHHHH! Your post was really good! It was way better than mine! I squeed like crazy! And then I felt really bad for Masinori running away from Izar when he was shot! But either way it was great and I needed that cause I'm having a terrible week and I hate my new home *scowls* now back to your regularly scheduled RP)) Masinori’s hand found Izar’s and a strong wave of relief washed over him as he felt it and heard his voice, he didn’t even care that he called him stupid. He was so happy that he was alive. He laughed, which turned into coughing, when Izar threatened to kill him if he died. Leave it to him to be completely adorable in a dire situation. Blood came out as he coughed and heaved, but he still couldn’t really see anything. Sirens suddenly began to blare in the distance, that was a miracle in and of itself. He felt so dizzy and nauseated at the same time, but was forcing himself to stay conscious. If you pass out, you’ll surely die. He didn’t know why he thought that. Everything felt like someone else’s bad dream, like being trapped there. Only the fear and pain were slightly more real. He didn’t hear Izar’s voice anymore, and the grip on his hand that was quite strong just seconds ago, was released. There was a soft thud, and Masi couldn‘t even move to feel what happened. If his heart wasn‘t already working overtime, it would‘ve begun racing with the fear he felt at that moment. “Help…” Masinori whispered so faintly, it was meant to be a scream. He thought he felt tears just before he stopped feeling. He thought he saw ghosts around them. Izar had screamed after him to stop, and he didn’t listen. He ran off to be vengeful instead of protecting him. He didn’t do his job, Izar had been harmed and he didn’t know if he was ok. He hoped he’d bleed to death there in the dirt, he didn‘t deserve any better. There were dull murmurs, but they left soon after all of the feeling in his body left. He was probably dead now, like he’d always wanted to be. Only now he’d actually found something worth living for. Around the two men EMT’s began to swarm, but both were oblivious to it, sprawled in each other’s blood. They were put on stretchers and into separate ambulances, along with the strange man who’d caused this mess. By a happy coincidence, a string of events in the other man’s own life, Doctor Malady was present at Masinori’s side. Of course he didn’t know this yet, which was probably a good thing. The vehicles rushed through the small village into the city, zipping past any cars that happened to be out at that late hour. They all paused and moved aside, as was custom. All the while the doctor’s hands were over Masi’s stomach, working their magic. No one else was in back with them. It would’ve looked very peculiar indeed if the driver didn’t know about his ability. When they were nearly at their destination Masi awoke with a start, sat bolt upright, coughing for all he was worth and spitting blood into his bare hands. The doctor pushed him back into a laying position, but he sat up again, looking at his hands. There in dirt, blood, and spit, was the bullet that had just been imbedded in his stomach. He fumbled with it for a second, then turned his gaze to Doctor Malady. He recognized the man at once from his previous stays at the hospital in Marseille when he’d made attempts at his own life. He was enraged and began to scream at him now. Why was he here and not with Izar? It was all wrong. The noise startled the driver, who swerved a little in response. “What the fuck are you doing here?!” He screamed as loud as his lungs would let him. The pain didn’t even seem to be there anymore. “Get out! Do you hear me?!” He grabbed the startled doctor by the collar, “Get the fuck away from me and go help Izar!” And as he let go of his collar he pushed him backwards. Ebenezer Malady scowled as he recovered himself from being pushed against the wall of the ambulence. He touched Masinori one last time, who pushed his hands away in response, wanting to hurt. But he wouldn’t let him. There would be nothing wrong with him now, except for the aches and pains of where the man had hit or punched him. Ebenezer Malady brushed himself off and stood up as they came to a screeching halt. “Just so you know, that wound was fatal.” The doctor said in his strange European accent, as the doors were opened. He stormed off to find the other victims of the incident. “Bastard!” Masinori called after him, clutching the bullet in his fist, as though in doing that he could put it back into his body somehow. He shouldn’t have been so harsh with the doctor, but he’d rather not stick around if Izar died while Ebenezer Malady the Vitakinesis boy wonder had patched him up just fine. As far as Masinori was concerned, the man was a thorn in his side, always saving his life when he’d rather he didn’t. Everyone was trying to poke and prod him with Iv’s and what not’s. Masinori may’ve looked like an emaciated little boy, but he was very strong, and put up a good fight. First he tried climbing off of the stretcher only to be pushed back down. “Sir you’re covered in blood!” A nurse said. “I’m fine! Izar!” He panted as they attempted to restrain him. He had to get to Izar and make sure the doctor was healing him. And then he was going to kill that man. Sure he was healed, but the blood loss was still effecting him and he stumbled as he ran. He had gotten a few feet when he was seized by his arms and wrestled to the ground, then injected with something that immediately made him drowsy. He protested still, saying the most vile Japanese swears he knew, and even some English ones. “No! Izar!” He was sobbing as he felt himself slipping into sleep again. “Make sure…Doctor Malady…Izar…” He managed as he slipped off. His face was soaked with sweat and tears now. Oh please, let me die…((OOC AGAIN! Ok, so Ebenezer Malady is another one of my characters…who I don’t really use much lol and he made a guest appearance, but I didn’t feel like logging in as him, so yeah. ((OOC: Thanks!! ^__^ Aww. I'm sure it'll get better. Did you just move in a city or change states all together? 'Cause I know that sucks. *glomps* It'll get better! Ok I shall do so. that's cool, you has a doctor! ^__^))
Izar was in a daze he couldn't move. The pain in his shoulder was sharp and consistent. He felt the gun go away from his head the sirens dim wails in his mind. He was going to die. He could feel it. His hand was separated from Masinori's and he willed the sirens to come faster. He heard voices faintly. "Leave the tainted lover. We don't have enough time. Damn drunk ruined." He felt himself being moved. This couldn't be happening. How could a day that had started out so perfect end up so devastating. A glimmer of hope rose in him. They didn't know that Masinori was tainted. He reached up with his good arm to his chest and pulled out the small blade he had there. A throwing dagger but it was just as good Thrust into someones heart. His movements were sluggish and and his arm was cause and twisted painfully. He dropped the blade and blacked out again.
They were still close enough to the scene when the ambulance and police men game thundering into the square. He heard Masinori's cried for him but he couldn't even think let alone cry out to him. Please be alright, he prayed silently and the world dimmed. This was no good he was going in and out. He didn't even feel anymore his pain was a dull throb in his daze. Izar saw something waving around in front of his eyes. He couldn't focus on it and it made him dizzy. It landed on his shirt and he finally realized what it was. It was a sylph, a whole clan of them. He blinked and without him having to say anything one, the oldest, the first sylph he had ever met speed off in the direction of the flashing lights. They fueled him and he was able to get enough power to pull out his wings.
He ignored the pain that freshly pulsed in his shoulder and kicked himself free. He called rapid winds in a swirling motion. He was attacking with everything that he could he hefted a tree from it's place in the square and flung it around. IT was more than an attack he was trying to show Masinori's anguished cries that he was alive and kicking. A doctor stormed out of the ambulance and flinched in the wind. He cried out when another shot was fired expertly into a wing. He hissed brining it to his side and crashing to the ground. There was a hard blow and there was nothing but darkness left in Izar's conscious mind. The wind died as he fell and his captors took him and fled the square completely leaving him oblivious to any direction in which they were going.
((Ok now I will kidnap Ebenezer Malady's mind MUWAHHAHA lol)) Ebenezer cursed as Masinori attacked him. Ingrate. The wind had picked up out of nowhere and was howling like a wounded animal. He let out an undignified shriek as a tree was hefted from it's roots and flung across the square. It fell with a sudden crash as the wind ceased almost unnaturally he thought he heard a gunshot but he couldn't be sure with all of the noise of the wind. He looked around and at the police officers. "Was there another person picked up here?" He asked seeing traced of blood across the square. He wondered if Masinori was schizophrenic. A very possible thing for some one of Masinori's history. The officer shook his head, "Just him and the shooter, why?" Ebenezer rubbed the bridge of his nose wearily, "He said there was someone else."
The officers looked as though they had just seen a ghost. Their faces paled and they looked around in a panic. "We saw some stray blood but we thought it might have been his." Ebenezer shook his head, "Well get some samples and test it. If it's not his we have a missing person on our hands." The police officers scrambled about trying to get a sample and making frantic calls. He made his way back to the ambulance where Masinori was now subdued and quiet. Whoever was missing Masinori would not be very happy that they didn't find him. He wondered if he could get someone else to tell him. "Go on." He told the drivers and the siren came on as the sped off to the hospital. It wouldn't do Masinori any favors if he was dead.
((Ok I'm done with that now back to Izy!)) Izar groaned he'd never been in so much pain in his life. At some point the bullet had been crudely pulled out of his shoulder and his wing had been set. That was odd. It had been set properly. Who were these people? He opened his eyes and found himself in the dark. No big surprise there. The rest of the sylphs had gone but the oldest one remained. He looked at it for a moment dumbfounded. "Friend, please, leave me and go to Masinori." He winced at the pain it brought to speak. "Go and let him know where I am, don't let him out of your sight." He smiled weakly, "I'm holding you responsible for anything that happens to him." The sylph nodded and saluted her silvery wings fluttering. No matter how old a sylph was they still seemed to stay the same. Elementals, she'd probably look the same way when he was eighty. If he lived that long. She flitted out the window and disappeared. He found he couldn't keep his eyes opened any longer. Perhaps if he were to sleep he might be able to reach Masinori. He hoped so... His mind fell and sleep consumed him.

It was one thing Masinori wasn’t practiced at, contacting people who were awake. Or dead. Izar had to be either one of those, but he definitely wasn’t asleep. He made a mental note to practice appearing to people who were awake, despite the consequences of being seen. He was asleep, from the awful drugs that had been distributed to him. He kept trying, reaching out for Izar’s mind. If he could reach it he’d appear like a vision only Izar could see and he’d be able to give him a message, that he was ok. He probably wouldn’t be able to see or hear Izar, but at least he’d know he was awake and alive. The fact that it wasn’t working at all was extremely disconcerting. He wasn’t giving up, but he felt a sudden pull at his conscious. The drugs were wearing off, he could wake now if he wanted.
His eyes blinked open, the room came into view. It was empty. He made sure no one was around before sitting up and pulled the iv out of his arm roughly. His bloodied clothes were still there, which was weird. The leather pants were ok, but the shirt was ruined and really gross looking. He put them both on anyway, and stuck the bullet in his pocket. It was still pressed firmly in his hand. To appear less conspicuous, he threw a robe over himself, covering the white shirt that was covered in dry blood. His bag was there too, and he slung it over his shoulder. Then he set off to find Izar or Doctor Malady. He knew he had a better chance of finding the latter, but didn’t want to admit it. All he wanted was to know that Izar was safe.
There was Ebenezer, in the cafeteria with his green jello. Masinori sat down next to him, he was about to protest, to ask what he was doing out of bed but Masinori stopped him, pressing something cold to the doctor’s arm. It was something he just had laying around, sometimes carried, it was just protocol when living in the slums of Marseielle. He'd nearly forgotten about it after he moved. He wasn’t the gun slinging type. He thought the weapon low, an unfair advantage, he’d rather fight hand to hand like a man than shoot someone when their back was turned, like an animal. But he was at the point where untainted and anyone who sympathized with them merited an unfair advantage on his part. They are animals, look what they did to Izar and me he reflected back on the times he‘d tried to help untainted only to get scolded, and the time he was kidnapped, and anyway he was only trying to get information from the doctor.
“Where is Izar.” He asked firmly. The doctor put his jello down angrily, “You’ve really lost it now, Masi.” He said. “Do you mean the other man? The beat up drunk?” He asked, that was the only other person he could think of Masinori meaning, and they couldn’t identify him. Plus he’d died, choking on his own vomit while passed out. Masinori couldn’t form a coherent sentence, why didn’t he know where Izar was? He started to panic. “Because if so, he’s in the morgue.” The doctor informed him now. “Good.” Masinori said. It wasn’t his fault, but he added another body to the count, the people who’d died at his hands. It was about to grow longer if he didn’t get some answers. “Doctor Malady, you need to come with me. There was another man present in the square and if he isn’t here, we need to find him and you need to be there. Now.” He pressed the gun into the other man as if to motion him to stand.
They walked out of the hospital together, were nearly stopped by a wary nurse, until she noticed Ebenezer with him. That doctor was always doing something strange. When they got outside, Masinori stopped and looked around. He wasn’t sure what he expected. “Let’s take your car and just…drive around the shady parts of town…” Masinori said. The doctor looked at him with an unimpressed expression, but lead him to his car anyway. Masi was desperate, he realized he had no idea where Izar was, and no way to find him. He felt completely helpless and wanted to scream. He slammed his fists down on the dashboard abruptly and shouted, letting out some of his anguish. Then he put his head in his hands and breathed heavily. The doctor looked at him now with sympathy. He had never known Masinori to care about much, but he didn’t know him well anyway. He put a hand on his shoulder, “Whoever this person is, we will find him.” He tried to encourage him.
Masi shook his head. “Just drive, and don’t bother me. I’m going to try to get into his mind.” He sat back and closed his eyes, letting himself fall into his half-trance. He reached out again for Izar, the familiar and comforting boundaries of his mind. Again it was dark, he couldn’t find him. He was still either awake, or his worst fear was true and he was dead. Frustrated, his eyes shot open again. He was about to throw another fit in Ebenezer’s car, when something began to take shape on his chest. Something that had been invisible to him before. It was silvery and small, and looked worried. It was one of Izar’s, well not his probably, but a sylph. Masinori felt excited suddenly, but it wasn’t a happy excitement. “Can you take me to him?” He looked urgently at the little sylph. The doctor made a few side glances at him, not being able to see who he was talking to.
“I’m not crazy doctor, turn left up here.” He directed him now, as he was directed by the strange sylph. He nodded and obeyed, “Just call me Eben by the way, it’s easier.” He said conversationally. Masinori just ignored him and focused on the directions. It was good that the sylph was there, that it had revealed itself to him, but he just hoped it wasn’t leading him to Izar’s motionless body. He clutched the gun firmly in his hand and readied himself for whoever he met that stood in the way of him and his beloved.

((OOC: Actually I was kind of making it up as I went along!! lol but I have a few ideas. lol happy easter to you but I'm orthodox and mine isn't for another month >.< stale candy for me!! But I am on Spring Break right now!!! WHOO!!! No school for a full week!!!!!!!))
Izar thought he felt something, but he couldn't be sure at the moment he was in the same position in his dreams as he was in life sprawled in pain on a dark floor. He opened his eyes as he head a metal door swing open on rusty hinges. He braced his wings and pain shot though his body. He glared up at whoever was standing in the doorway. Izar felt tears pricking at the back of his eyes. He's never felt so terribly alone before. The person grabbed his chin roughly and shined a light in each of his eyes. He blinked and rubbed his eyes trying to get the blinding light out of his eyes. "What in the hell?" He protested weakly. "Concussion," said the man to another ignoring Izar. He watched the man stand and another came in. He examined Izar and smiled cruelly. Izar's skin crawled.
"I need you're help." he said simply. "Well you could have asked instead of kidnapping me and shotting Masinori!" he snapped rising to his feet angrily wanting to run this man through. "That tainted lover deserved it," the man shrugged. "What?! Izar said and flew to attack this piggish man. Arms grabbed and held him back. "I need you to take care of someone for me." He continued oblivious to Izar's protests. "Fat chance!" Izar spat. The man laughed and Izar felt a chill going down his spine. He had a feeling that he wasn't going to have a choice. "You see I think you will if your life depends on it." Izar felt weak again and stop struggling. They let him fall to his knees and clutch his shoulder. "If you need my help why did you break my wing?"
"I didn't the bullet only hit under the bone, you'll be fine and flying, or else." Izar was stunned and shook his head dumbfounded. Who were these people? Could this really be...? Izar had heard about it once before. An underground type of fighting. People got tainteds and bet on who would win. He only hoped that the sylph had gotten away alright. "Who do you need me to take care of?" Izar asked wincing as the word tasted bitter on his tongue. "A fire controller." Izar was stunned, "What!?" That was impossible depending on who was controlling the powers the elemental powers were all relative and no one element could completely destroy another. He figured that the person with fire said that but got nothing out of it. "That's impossible, it'll end in a stalemate."
"Not if we make you angry enough." The man said, "You can be very powerful when angry." Izar gulped and yelped as he was dragged out the door. He struggled against the man but damn his hollow bones. He had no marrow to help his weight. The room was light and white all over. Izar felt out of place in the clean room with his filth and dark clothing. He saw something in a small container on the table and screamed. Water. This couldn't be happening. They dunked his head in and he could feel their nails and fingers tangling in his hair. His mind flashed and memories collided with the current happenings. His wings beat against them and he struggled for air. He couldn't break free. He hand no control at all anymore. He beat his wings and just as he lifted his head to suck in air he was pushed out an opening. They had planned it all so well.
Get Izar angry and then shove him out on the field to lay waist to whatever was in his way. His eyes were consumed by silver and Izar was not himself. He fell. A part of his mind weakly told himself not to catch himself but the stronger part of his mind burned for something to kill. Izar spread his wings and his eyes caught on the pyro looking up at him. Izar had no control and this man did. He could die here so easily but it was like something else had taken over him. His conscious mind slept tormented by the memories. He cried out for Masinori to find him, to stop him to kill him! the pyro shot flames at him and Izar flung them aside. He never knew he was even capable of such power. He blew a gale at him knocking him to the ground then with a cry of anguish he built up a hurricane.
His teeth clenched together every image he was seeing was water. The man was no longer a man but water lashing out at him. He was horrified with himself, this couldn't be him, blood thirsty and violent. This was exactly what Zeferu warned would happen if he couldn't control his power. His unconscious mind reached for Masinori despite his awareness it still felt like he was sleeping. As if all of this was a horrible dream perhaps Masinori would come and save him. Perhaps Masinori hadn't made it. That brought a fresh wave of anger through his veins. He felt tears falling from his eyes. The pyro was as scared as Izar was out of his mind at this moment. He couldn't think straight. He wanted to stop but he couldn't. This power was so raw, he realized. It hurt to use it. It wasn't in his control it was tearing him apart along with everyone else in the small area.
