[Open!] [Um, I'll go with tagging this as "W" just since it seems to be the thing to do... And because I have no idea. ^^;]
It’s pretty out here.
Sure, it’s cold and all, but it’s nice anyway, all quiet and still but not like the scary-weird stillness that’s usually bad (or she at least assumes is bad – she never really sticks around to find out). And maybe she should be a little more worried about the cold, but she knows it won’t really hurt her, so she doesn’t really bother aside from a jacket and actually wearing shoes for a change (which is a big sacrifice, but someone wandering around in the middle of winter barefoot is bound to get attention… and, well, it is cold).
Humming absently to herself, Anna’s wanders the woods as if she’s really got nothing better to do. Which she doesn’t, at the moment at least, though she still does need to go shopping later, because dinner-making will be hellish otherwise. For the most part, she eats pre-packaged foods, something easy to just heat and eat, because anything other than that she somehow ends up utterly ruining. Cursed or something. Whatever. Pizza sounds good tonight, she decides. Yep.
She’s got one of those closed thermos-mugs in one hand, full of coffee (knowing her, what else would be in it, really?), and she pauses, leaning her right side against a tree and taking a drink from it. Ah, coffee. Best thing ever. Or something like that. She can’t think of anything off the top of her head that’s better, so clearly it must be the best.
It’s getting dark – probably only about a half-hour of daylight left. She glances around absently at first, then with increasing hurry. Pushing off the tree she’d been leaning on, she spins in a full circle… aaaand, no, nothing looks familiar. Which is pretty typical really… happens more often than her currently near-panic expression would lead others to believe. Because really, she’s horrible at directions, at remembering trails, all that…
...Okay, seriously, how many of these trees need to look so identical? It’s a little bit silly. And, yeah, it's not like even if she did get lost it'd be too horrible, 'cause she can always just fix herself if anything happens, and she'll get home eventually, but it's annoying and mildly creepy anyway. Especially since it's getting dark and vampires and things like the dark
The crunch of something-or-someone wandering in this direction makes her jump with a quick ”Eep!”, and she mentally debates darting up a tree, but thinks better of it (it’d take waaay too long to get up in the first place), spinning to face the direction the sound came from and holding her coffeemug almost protectively against herself.

Was almost dark which Constantine was reading a new recipe for some garlic chicken he was thinking to make tonight for Little Gio and himself. He didn't know though so he went into Gio's room and leaned against the doorway. He only had the kid about a week or a month so he did not understand him yet. "Gio, do you like garlic on your chicken? Garlic bread? Angel hair pasta?" He looked at the boy which Gio just went nodded his head quietly to all Constantine said. "Alright I shall make that for dinner but I need to get some firewood. Okay? I'll only be gone no more then 30 minutes or so. Your going to be alright and safe here...oh I got you something." Con suddenly remembered then left the room for a moment and came back with a book.
He handed it to Gio who was just lying on the bed he was given and writing in his journal Constantine made him write in. Was the best way to know the little guy if Con can read his thoughts. He got Gio the book called The Giver then he smiled at the boy then he walked off without seeing the boys excitement. Was like Gio never gotten a present in his lifetime and he went to start to read it. As for Constantine he left the house which he took his ax with him. With the porch light on then he walked into the almost night time with his ax over his shoulder. If he lived around lots of people then this would of scared people him the town crazy with an ax.
Coming out in almost the start of nighttime dressed head to toe in black and with no jacket, just long sleeved black shirt. He set out into the cold evening then went into the forest to collect himself some fire wood. Now he was not the best cook in the world but he could cook. Which was always good since Gio can eat a lot like he has been starved to death his whole life, well he probably has been starved. He felt bad for the little guy which is why he took him in. Besides Con always hoped he'd have a son about this age but he was no where even close to marriage nor a girlfriend. Disappointing really, well to him, his brother Laertes was already married to some female and she was nice. Sharon was engaged to a really nice boy which Constantine got to met at well.
He didn't really think much of that anymore since he needed to concentrate on finding a nice tree that was not too fat or just a baby for firewood. He was just thinking off in his own little hand as he walked through the forest. He hummed to himself then broke into a small whistle that was before he heard noise. Like someone was moving around which he lowered the ax to see less of a threat. He moved on slowly was glad to wear black for he blended in quite well. Soon he found his eyes on the beautiful figure of the women he had known, personally. She was twirling around for some off reason which he went smiled to himself, dared to move closer. CRUNCH.
The sound of a twig on the ground broke his silence which he looked to see her freaking out. Without warning he came out of the darkness and revealed himself. "Don't worry Anna....it's just me." He said to her to soother her down then he went put his ax leaned up against the tree he was by. He blinked slowly then laughed a little shook his head which some spirit popped right behind Anna. "What are you doing out here, alone, at dark?" He asked, his eyes looked at her for a moment then traveled to the side where the spirit went and was dancing around. Some young female dancing around which he felt it was a little random and odd but soon ignored it. His blue eyes went back to look at her again and keep his eye contact as he waited her answer.

It's funny how the first thought is oh my God he's got an axe! even before she manages to recognize whoever it is, just sort of noting the male figure but mostly just paying attention to the tool (weapon?) he's holding. And, given that she can heal and totally doesn't have to worry about being killed or anything, she shouldn't really care anyway...
But still. An axe? Really?
"Don't worry Anna....it's just me."
Oh! Constantine! Well that's much better than a psycho with an axe, definitely. Because whether or not she can heal an entire limb is still in question (never had to try before, but she's pretty sure she could if she had to), and even so she'd much rather have a conversation with him than with axe-wielding-crazies any day.
"Hihi! Y'scared me, y'know... I almost died." Not really, but whatever. Exaggerating never hurt anyone. Much. She flashes a grin and waves slightly with her free hand, even though the greeting is slightly delayed, and wanders over closer to him.
"What are you doing out here, alone, at dark?"
"Weeell, I wasn't supposed'a still be out here at dark. I just lost track of time an' stuff. 'Cause I do that. A lot. And also I'm mildly lost." The last sentence is added sort of rushed, almost like she's embarassed about admitting it (though of course she isn't or anything, bah), like a little kid with their rushed sentences and their shifty eyes as she finishes. She grins sheepishly and glances up at the sky a second (what can be seen of it through the trees, anyhow; yep, getting dark fast now. Silly nighttime), then back over at him, expression somewhere between playfully suspicious and curious.
"How 'bout you? What's got you wandering around the woods with an axe at this hour?"
Of course, it doesn't occur to her that woods = trees = firewood, because this is Anna and clearly her mind isn't going to be on the traditional reasons for axes and woods. Never. Well maybe not "never", but not right now anyway.

Naturally as he thought he would it be a scary sight for some man with an ax to come into the field. But he did clarify that it was him so she seemed relieved as he stepped closer so she can see him better. Was hard to see him in the dark since he had black from head to toe which even his hair was black. His respects to the dead though since they liked the color and liked him wearing it. Red on the other hand they did not like for it was the sign of murder and blood, some for of sin. With a friendly smile on his face again he looked at her as she commented how she almost died. He went chuckled for he knew that was far from the truth and shook his head. "Kidding me? You die? I don't think so. Lived a long healthy 82 years and you shall live more after that. I'll be way dead before you ever kick the bucket." He laughed since his jokes were a little morbid.
What can he say? He hangs around dead people all the time besides Gio now. Which the little girl dancing in their spot was bothering him and his eyes shifted over to her again for the moment. But when he heard Anna answering his question he smiled slowly then bite down on his bottom lip. She had never changed, it hasn't been entirely too long since he has seen her last. Well he remembered before he left on the trip how close they had gotten before his mother died. At that time he was 26 years old and she was 80 years old which still nothing had changed. Age was nothing but a number which she was just anything he ever wanted so he fell for her then. One night, which he vividly remembers, they had one night together bodies bonded then few days later his mother had died.
Which that is when he left town and went on a trip and didn't return until a month ago. Sure he had told her he was back and such but felt awkward inside. Like he had used her then ditched her ran off and now was back in her life, he didn't know how she felt. He still had his eyes for her of course and had no problem going back to the old feelings or anything. But did not know or did not feel to rush it especially now since technically he has a 'son' he was caring for. As she spoke all this came to his mind in that split moment which he soon chuckled again. "Lost huh? Well my house is about that a way." He turned directly around then pointed at some small light in the distances. "Which means the town should not be far from my home." He smiled slowly then turned around to face her again and then tilted his head to the side.
Another simple bite to his bottom lip and steady eyes on her still. She asked him the same question of what he was doing out there and he just smiled wider. "Ah well that is an interesting question with a simple answer. I'm getting fire wood for the stove so I can make supper tonight also be warm." He pointed a little to the ax he was carrying then he laughed softly. "When I came back from my travels I found a small boy when I was walking home. He was barely alive in the forest. Well he is not exactly a boy boy but a 16 year old tainted boy. I couldn't just leave him to die so I been taking care of him. Um...I'm making chicken, pasta and garlic bread if any of those appeal to your taste buds." He let off a warm smile to her again then took the ax in his hands. Finally he looked over at the little girl who was dancing and then she began to cry.
Constantine rolled his eyes then looked then he put one hand on his hip. "Yes..." He clearly was not talking to Anna one bit since he was not looking at her at all. When the little crying girl said something that is when Constantine's expression changed. He was no longer annoyed but then he shook his head then laughed and took Anna's slender wrist. "Um...we are standing on her grave. She asked us to move." He kept his hand around Anna's wrist with his free hand then he walked a little off to the side so he would not be standing in the same spot as he was before. When the ghost girl stopped crying that he when he turned back to Anna then smiled. But another distraction came to him as he noticed a perfect tree to cut down. He didn't start to hack at it he was just looking it up and down measuring it with his eyes.

"Kidding me? You die? I don't think so. Lived a long healthy 82 years and you shall live more after that. I'll be way dead before you ever kick the bucket."
She smiles with a tiny half-laugh at what she supposes is a joke (silly sense of humor, Con'; sometimes it's hard to tell if he's really kidding or not), and shrugs slightly, covering the slight internal moment of panic (because that's the truth, isn't it? She's gonna outlive him everyone she knows, everyone she'll ever know, and that's probably the only actual downside to this, but it's a huge one, and one she totally avoids thinking about at all costs... so she should seriously stop thinking about it now, for sure) flawlessly. She's good at that by now.
"Lost huh? Well my house is about that a way. ...Which means the town should not be far from my home."
"Ooh, good. What would I ever do without ya, hon?" ...And she's leaving that as flippantly playful, nothing to internally freak out over, nothing at all other than that. Clearly.
"[...] I'm getting fire wood for the stove so I can make supper tonight also be warm." ...Yes, that would be the logical answer, wouldn't it? And surely she should have figured that out? It's not like she's never been exposed to fireplaces or stoves with wood - she has, before he was even born; before most of the people around here were, really. Which makes it just that bit more embarrassing.
"...Is it bad I didn't figure that one out on my own?" she questions sheepishly, "'Cause I think it is. At least a little bad."
"When I came back from my travels I found a small boy when I was walking home. He was barely alive in the forest. Well he is not exactly a boy boy but a 16 year old tainted boy. I couldn't just leave him to die so I been taking care of him."
That catches her attention, the mention of barely alive and such, and she's serious a second (something most would probably be shocked was possible, but she thinks she's probably been serious around him before so he shouldn't be too terrified or think it was time for the Apocalypse or anything), breaking in somewhat-worriedly to question, "He okay now? I could help, if you need...?" Her ability to heal others isn't exactly primed to perfection (or even close to that) yet, but still it'd be something she could do if it was needed.
"Um...I'm making chicken, pasta and garlic bread if any of those appeal to your taste buds."
"Aw, you asking me out?" It's meant entirely playful (something she'd have said to probably anyone at all anywhere sorta-inviting her to dinner), and the tone works, except once it's out she realizes she probably shouldn't have, and she sorta-blushes and the shrugs it off as if, yes, just a joke. ...Because it was, of course.
"Um, yeah, sounds good." Another bright smile, and a small nod. It's been way too long since they've gotten to spend actual time together since he got back, so she'd probably have accepted the invitation-of-sorts even if he'd been serving something weird that didn't sound appealing at all, just for the sake of going (and then would probably have mentally scolded herself for like forever for acting like some kind of schoolgirl with a crush). But that does sound good, so she doesn't have to worry about her mentally rebuking herself (so long as her joke doesn't cause chaos and angst or something). Yay!
"Yes..."
...Okay, what now? He's not even looking at her, and that doesn't make sense at all with anything... Oh. Ghosts. Right. She spares a glance owards where he's looking, but she doesn't actually see anything, so she looks back over at him.
"Um...we are standing on her grave. She asked us to move." He takes her wrist and moves, and she follow suit with a grin, glancing off towards wherever he'd been looking previously, as if to look at the unseen person who's resting place she'd totally just been standing on (and she thinks that's slightly strange, an unmarked grave in the woods; sad, really).
"Oooh, sorry, um... ghosty-chick..?"

Teasing him already, he did love the flirty nature she was coming off of and did feel more comfortable around her. Since after all he still have the biggest crush for her and also the hots for her but he kept that under control. He wasn't some hormonal teenage boy or anything he was mature enough to keep to himself. With a smile he went shook his head then went to list off a few things. "Ahh well...if you didn't have me you would be scotch free with your secret. How many people know your real age? I mean I only know because my friends are highly jealous of you....mostly the female friends." When he meant friends he stressed it out which was meaning his ghost friends.
Most of them gawked at her which they knew her secrets for all ghosts knew secrets hidden inside a person. He gave her a comforting smile though which he did kindly explained what he was doing out there even though it was obvious. She should of known but he did not blame her for the slow moment and he just smiled off some more to her and chuckled again. "Ah well....I could of been out here ax murdering someone. So no it's quite alright you asked me what I was doing because it could of been either one of those things." He let another morbid joke out but she should know he was kidding with the smile on his face. Soon a snicker went out of him again and then pulled off a serious face. The second reason he was out there was because he didn't have enough fire wood and such to cook for two or heat for two.
Normally one log would do for both cooking and heating but no he needed the oven and fireplace going. He told about the boy he had found which he knew she would soften. She asked if he was fine he went tilted his head in a curious way then he bite his bottom lip. "He is healthy yes. All I had to do was feed him and hydrate him. But there is something else wrong..." He said then he scratched the back of his head then sighed. "I don't know. He just is scared to go outside or scared when I raise my voice a little too loud and I've never yelled at him ever. Kind of flinches when I go to touch him. Maybe he needs a female figure to talk to....because something is wrong. I'm guessing abuse since he was really skinny when I found him. He has gained weight since he has been with me for the month. So....think all is well..." He shrugged since he did not know really what else to do for the boy other then keep doing what he was doing.
Course after he did say all this he went to change the subject. Asked her if she wanted some dinner since he did not mind another guest into the house. Which he laughed at what she said which he shook his head looked at her. "Well....as I recall you don't take dates out with your children. Little Gio shall be accompanying us of course." He went laughed some more since he knew she was kidding and teasing. He did love it which he went shook his head then gave a smile. "That be great. You can talk to Gio maybe and see if you can get anything out of him with your female touch." He suggested then he smiled yet again before he was distracted of course. The little girl crying which also told him something bad which he did not wish to share at all and make the mood morbid again. Apparently the girl was killed and buried there by some killer, never was found. Constantine knew he couldn't say anything because some untainted wouldn't believe him so he kept his mouth shut. He just moved Anna wit him by grabbing her wrist lightly.
Pull her with him till they were further away from where they were standing. His head looked at the tree near him which he smiled since it was perfect then got his ax ready. But before he randomly hacked at the tree he heard her apologize to the ghost then he laughed some more. His head turned to the little ghost who was dancing around again which he smirked. "Don't worry about her she is dancing around happy again. But anyways I'm going to take this one down since it seems perfect and not too heavy to drag along. Just step back I won't want you to get hurt." He said subconsciously since he is used to saying something like that. He put his arm out to indicate her to stay there then he went to the other side of the tree. Aiming his ax low on the trunk he lifted his arms back then swing against the tree. He got a pretty good chunk out for the first blow and then just began to do it over and over again. He was not working too hard, this was easy, or he just made it look easy.

"Ahh well...if you didn't have me you would be scotch free with your secret. How many people know your real age? I mean I only know because my friends are highly jealous of you....mostly the female friends."
”I don’t think anyone else knows…” And I’d rather have you around than keep the secret entirely she doesn’t add; not because she doesn’t (she really does), but because that would just be sappy, probably, right? Yes. And sappy is clearly a bad thing (especially since she shouldn’t even be attached to him enough to have sappy thoughts in the first place).
For a second she almost asks why the ghosts (well, she thinks he’s talking about the ghosts; s’what it sounded like at least) would be jealous of her, but then she sorta figures it out; she won’t die, and they’re dead, and there’s that weir feeling of guilt that pops up whenever she thinks about anyone who’s dead, dying, or about death in general, so she pushes the thought away. Happy thoughts. They’re good for the soul. Or something. (Though then again there’s the mention of specifically female friends and that makes her theory on what he means not make as much sense and makes a different theory come to mind, so she’s sorta-blushing again, uuugh.)
"Ah well....I could of been out here ax murdering someone. So no it's quite alright you asked me what I was doing because it could of been either one of those things."
”Yes, clearly it’s a logical idea. Because you’d do that.” Playful sarcasm is fun when it doesn’t turn out bad. ”Though my theory was closer to zombie-or-vampire hunting after I knew it was you. You’d do that, right? Seems like your thing. Y’know, helping the deadfolks sleep happy and stop munching people?” Okay, but babbling should probably be avoided from now on, Anna…
Her concern for his kid (and wow that sounds weird to think, doesn’t it? Not that she’s sure why or anything…) lessens only a bit once he clarifies that he’s not, like, bleeding to death or anything extreme, though it doesn’t entirely go away once he continues.
"[…] I don't know. So....think all is well..."
She makes a face, somewhere between a scowl and something more sympathetic, because seriously, people abusing kids (even older!kids) is stupid and bad. Probably along the same lines as like cannibals and vampires and stuff, only unfortunately a lot more commonplace. Part of her wants to know if he has any idea where he was from so they could go kick some ass, but most of her decides that's not the appropriate sentiment (at the moment, anyway; later, maybe..).
”Well ‘kay, glad he’s at least alright-ish…”
"Well....as I recall you don't take dates out with your children. Little Gio shall be accompanying us of course." Oh good, he didn’t seem to notice her awkwardness over that. Very good. "That be great. You can talk to Gio maybe and see if you can get anything out of him with your female touch."
She smiles and nods slightly. ”Sure, I’ll see if I can help.” She hopes she can do something to help after all, and won’t just be useless. It’s be good to know she’d done something for Con done something that’s actually worthwhile for once.
"Don't worry about her she is dancing around happy again. But anyways I'm going to take this one down since it seems perfect and not too heavy to drag along. Just step back I won't want you to get hurt."
Anna can’t help but giggle slightly childishly at the courteous desire that she not get hurt, and decides not to retort that it wouldn’t matter anyway. It does still hurt, even if it doesn’t last long, so that works out fine. She brushes strands of red hair out of her eyes as she steps off to the side (careful not to go back on top of wherever that grave is; she doesn’t want to make the ghost sad again), pointedly not-watching (except for the occasional glance in his direction; what, she can’t help it!) how easy it seems to be for him to cut down the tree.

So he was the only one who knew her real age which he sent her a smile since it did mean something to him. He knew her real age and still went after her instead of maybe what some other man would do, just run away. He did truly care, well he did back then, he did now but he didn't show his affection as he did back then. Guess his travels just roughed him up a little or maybe he was just used to losing everyone. He kept keeping off the topic in his head by speaking to her, cracking some jokes. He was kidding about the whole ax murderer part since he wouldn't harm no one. He was not able to hurt even a fly much less a person, literally. Everything had too much of a short life without someone cutting it off from this world so he did not bother to hurt anything.
In fact he was just like Anna, so determine to save lives and wished he had her power instead. When she said he was vampire hunting instead he let out a warm smile in her direction then shook his head. A jokester right back to him, he loved humor, even though his was either odd, dry or morbid; he still liked a good laugh. He began to explain about the boy he found and told her he was alright so she would not be so worried. Taking care of the little one was quite alright made him feel his age. She was glad with his news he was alright which he nodded slowly with a smile. Was more happier when she said she shall help a bit to talk to the boy, that was good. Poor boys mother was dead so he thought maybe Gio needed a female to speak to instead of a harsh father figure.
Someone soft, loving and well soft with her worlds...motherly in a sense. With the slight distraction then the move to a new location he just told her the ghost was happy now. Nothing much can do for that little one and he looked back with his blue eyes then looked away. She giggled a little which he smiled but went over to the tree so he can start what he came out here to do. Also he did not want to leave Gio alone for long since he was afraid the kid might freak. He plum forgotten she won't get hurt so he told her to get out of the way just in case. He began to work at the trees trunk so he can get the small tree down then drag it along. Actually this was going to be better she can hold the ax and he can drag the tree. He hacked away not really paying attention to her at all just working along to get this all done and over with.
As soon as he weaken the tree he looked to see which way was his house. Then went pushed the tree in that direction for it to fall down, be better to drag it by the branched. Cracking of the trunk happened then the tree toppled over to a crash on the ground. He took a deep breath in and out from the small effort of work then smiled. He did not have a seat drop or nothing on him this was simple as pie which he licked his semi-dry lips then looked at her. "Just as easy as one two three." He remarked with a smile then he walked over to her then put the handle of the ax in her hand. "Be a sweetheart and carry this for me." He kept the smile on his lips at her with his eyes kind of dancing when they looked at her. God, it has been such a long time but soon it was slowly turning like it was yesterday.
Surely she did hate him for his actions, though. When his mother died he didn't give any reason to Anna. He only told her the day after burying his mother that he was leaving, that was it. Dumped her off so bluntly when things were turning up for them in their relationship friendship. Who was he kidding? Women were spiteful. Sure she hated him in that sense to never ever touch him again. He just knew it, so he let his blue eyes off from lingering onto her. Turning away he walked along side of the fallen tree trunk so he can find some suitable branches to grasp. When he found some he went began to drag the tree slowly in the direction of his house. No it wasn't too heavy but it sure as hell was not light, he'd be able to do it or call for Gio to help when he got closer.

[OOC: Sorry for the shortness this time around; I couldn't think of anything to add without going on tangents about shiny things. I didn't think it fit, so I left it at this. ]---- Yep, he’s not having a hard time with that at all, at least it doesn’t look like it. Probably not, she decides; not everyone’s as weak as she is. Most aren’t, really. And it doesn’t exactly surprise her that he definitely wouldn’t be… She jumps slightly as the tree falls, then shifts slightly in place as if, no, that wasn’t a jump, that was just… um, moving. Yes. Clearly she was just moving, because standing in one position for too long is never really the best thing ever, and moving isn’t a bad thing, and… yeah. Not startled at all, of course. "Just as easy as one two three. …Be a sweetheart and carry this for me."”Ok…” Not that she could really give any other answer, what with how he’s looking at her. She accepts the axe slightly tentatively, eyeing the sharp hack-ey part warily as if it’s going to just randomly imbed itself in him something. It’s heavier than she’d expected it to be, and she vaguely wonders when the last time she ever held one was, if she ever did… Satisfied it’s not going to spontaneously attack, she leans it against her shoulder and flashes a grin. He starts dragging the fallen tree off in a seemingly-random (at least to her it is; seriously, these trees all look almost identical, how can he tell?!) direction, and she follows, then slips up to walk beside him, flashing a smile in his direction, before turning to look where she’s going again (because smashing into a tree or tripping and falling or something, while not really serious, would totally be embarrassing).

This was easier then he thought as he pushed down the tree then handed her the ax to get started in the direction. He did give her the look but what would she say to it so he left it silent went to tugging. He began to drag the tree which was going quite well even though it was heavy. "So..." He said in the middle of tugging so there was not going to be silence and him grunting at pulling the tree. "...what have you been up the past two years?" He went tugged and struggled with the tree which he did something embarrassing. He pulled on the branch which snapped and he fell backwards. He landed on the ground right on his ass then he sat there laughing. His face went red but he got up and brushed himself off then threw the branch off in a different direction.
He went back to the tree then he began to tug it which he just was listening to her answer him and kept at working. They were already close to his house since he did not travel into the forest too far. When they reached the edge of the forest he went stopped then let out a few pants. He stood straight up then he put his hands to his hips then he turned around towards his dark colored house. "GIO! COME HELP ME OUT WITH THIS! PLEASE!" He said in a loud tone but only so Gio heard him. Which his blue eyes looked at the window where the boy's room was. He did see Gio peek through the window to see it was Con then disappear. Constantine went moved the fallen hair from his face which he still did not have any sweat on him. He didn't sweat much which was the reason for that one and he let out a few deep breaths calming down a little.
Gio came out of the house timidly then walked cautiously over to Con then looked at the girl weary. "Anna is a friend of mine. Don't worry it's okay....just help be drag this over there, ya?" He looked at Gio who seemed to still he looking at Anna like she might hurt him then he looked to Constantine. With a small shy nod to his head he walked over to grab onto the tree branches. Which Constantine went then both the boys dragged the tree more off to the side of the house. Now that was easy and done with he patted the boys head then said something else. "Thank you. You can go back to reading....I'll be making dinner soon, okay?" He saw Gio nod again then run off to go back inside the comfort of his new home. Constantine went sighed deeply then pursed his lips a little looking into the little boy ran off. "See....he is timid and shy." He said then looked over to Anna then went to her and held his hand out. Non-verbally asking for the ax to be placed in his hand which he thought she'd get the hint.
